Well done. So good to have a commentary rather than jumping from Layout to layout with no explanation. Nice clear photography as well. Thanks for an enjoyable episode. Howard
After listening to the first 4 Episodes of Model Railway Replacement Podcast, I saw this video in my feed. A well presented video and a nice look at the show! I recall you had some previous comments that your narration wasn't very welcome or interesting, and that you talked over the noise of the railway... I found your narration interesting and informative, and also didn't override the sounds of the railway you were presenting. Well done!
thanks for this film as i was helping to operating EXBRIDGE all weekend and only had a few minutes to see other layouts. this is a very comprehensive record. Caroline.
Thanks for a superb video review. I was at the show and thought the standard of modelling was fantastic. And British Motor Museum is an excellent venue for the show
This is soooooo much better than being at the show.. so informative and inclusive,,,,,it’s an education i tells yer!!! Thank you for taking realisticly long viewing shots so that the layouts can be enjoyed in there entirety.
Well this year the show was quite quiet and I managed to get some really good panning shots due to the lack of crowd. Good for me (and you) not so good for the show
Again super made video, always like your comments on the layouts, very well done, I always enjoy them. Unfortunately the GBMR show was not on the list this year, been there last year. Some very nice and new layouts again, a very nice selection of steam era layouts, always my main interest. It's good to see so many 009 layouts, and this maybe my impression, but the 009 layouts seem to be better and better in time. Anyway thank you to take us on that marvelous tour again…
I think since the introduction of ready to run OO9 has moved forwards leaps and bounds especially as those who struggle for space realise they can fit 1:76 in a small space
It was great show I always look forward to the Gaydon show there’s always quality layouts and I’m glad they decided to carry on with a show thei🥺re after Hornby magazine left. It was good to see you, although my boy has his eye on the NW insulated van now, fortunately it’s 2mm to the foot too big for his layout 😆
I must have been on an operating break when you were videoing the layout I was operating, Heart of England Modular layout, otherwise I’d have said Hi. Thanks again for a great video, I think the back ground information really adds something, especially for scales/eras/countries I’m not too familiar with.
good video im an operator on rush green at 26:59 if u look above the arm on the steam shovel but below the bottom wirer you can see the penguin on the building at the back
As ever an excellent video of the world of model railways, sadly though I missed your assistants expert view of the layouts. Hows the big layout coming along, not seen much recently.
The boy was at his nan’s so it was just me at this show. The large layout is capable of running trains but it has otherwise stalled I’ve been busy building a new n gauge layout for the boy
Some very nice steady filming and much appreciated. Some beautiful layouts but far too many locos running around with no crew! It looks even more bizarre when you're filming it close up, it's almost we are expecting to see someone running along Shouting stop! stop that train!
Possibly, I heard they’re all Just camera shy and duck out of the way when being filmed . Did you know a driver and fireman once did that as they passed a goods train they had invited a couple of girls onto the footplate and thought it would be funny to make it look like the girls where driving the train.
love the channel but the video is really bglurry even at 720 and hd, maybe use an android phone on highest settings because you cant see much detail on whatever camera this is.
How odd when I’ve played it back it looks fine to me. I use an iPhone but it is getting on and in need of a replacement (I won’t being going android I’m afraid) I have noticed on occasion it struggles to focus sometimes and at gets the phone needed a full reset after it froze blurry. It’s possible because the size of video there’s a loss of detail.
I'm watching this right now on my TV's UA-cam app and the video is perfectly sharp. It sounds like you've had a temporary bandwidth problem to UA-cam from whatever device you're using.
Absolutely brilliant video and available so soon, great commentary too. Nice to see my own layout, as its only my second exhibition. I'm learning as i get more experienced. Thank you for including me.
@RichardBridgman no problem, I liked your layout and it’s always good to see what you can get out of o gauge in the smaller size baseboard. I’ve purchased a 14xx and a couple of wagons but that’s as far as my foray into o gauge has got so far but your layout certainly proves I can have something, thanks for showing it to the world.
Well done.

No problem Howard I’m glad you enjoyed the video

Thank you very much. In fairness it was only one person but we found it funny because I’ve been making these style videos for about 2-3 years now.
Magnificent. Many thanks for you efforts putting this all together.
No problem thank you for commenting

No problem, Exbridge is a great layout, I particularly liked the scenic fiddleyard
Thanks for a superb video review. I was at the show and thought the standard of modelling was fantastic. And British Motor Museum is an excellent venue for the show
I think it’s a great show although the crowds were very small this year I’m assuming half term switching weeks probably didn’t help.

Lol fantastic video best filmed video I've seen of rush green colliery yesterday the penguin 🐧 is on the layout 😂 all the best from Richard Green
I’ve been told where it is I just need to go back and look 😆
Some great layouts and thanks for your entertaining and informative commentary
No problem great to know you enjoyed the video
Really enjoy your videos and this one is no exception. Looks like it was a great show too!
Shaun in Oregon.
It was, there was some superb layouts
Another great upload WS. No focus problems for me and, added bonus, my beautiful bride likes your voice and commentary!
No problem, I’m taking a stab in the dark here but from your comment I’m assuming congratulations are in order
@WesternSignalman Hi WS, thanks for the thought but we've been married for 38 years, she'll always be the beautiful bride!
Again super made video, always like your comments on the layouts, very well done, I always enjoy them.

It was lovely to see you at Gaydon mate. Really nice video and showed me a lot that I didn't get to see, some brilliant layouts :)

@WesternSignalman don't worry there might be an N gauge one ready for when he's old enough...
He’s got two n gauge layouts already 🤣 (I gave him the Thomas scene which he happily runs Percy on)

Maybe next time you’ll catch, was an excellent collection of modules
Thanks 👍
No problem

I’m going back to look for him 😂
Enjoyed in my view background info enhances video
Well saves you getting out of your chair we wouldn’t want that.

Looking sharp on my IPad
