Good job young man you’ve taught an old dog a new trick.
Thanks for the video, I have an 05 Z71 also, going to level it soon
Good looking bro. I want a 6” but have the 2.5” budget haha! With the kit you have you can keep the wheel/tire combo and it still looks good. Thanks for sharing
Truck looks great man.
i put the stickers on the shocks just to add the little extra bit to protect the shocks from rocks
Quick question does it drive confortable? Or they get really bumpy ?
My 05 Sierra doesn’t have a torsion bar for some reason. I’ve can’t find the keys
It’s been a while since I’ve owned one of these trucks but I believe only the 4wd trucks had torsion bars
Nice video. I just ordered the front level kit. I didn’t get rear blocks. Will it be squatted with the bigger blocks in the back?
It depends on how high you adjust the torsion bar bolts. You should have an inch of adjustment, just adjust them until you have the look you’re desiring.
FYI as you lift the front you add more weight to the rear. Loading this weak factory leafs.
Huh? It should be the same amount of weight on the rear no matter how much the front it lifted

I lik the way it sit how you get the front higher then the back with just the rc 2.5 leveling ?
DBOY STATIST You just jack the torsion bar keys all the way up. It should put it 1-1.5” higher in the front
What size of tires did you have here in this video? And actually what you have now?
Doesnt this put stress on all your front end suspension components causing em to go bad quicker
yes it does but they do make upper control arms with the correct angle to fix the upper ball joint angel pretty much the only joint that really gets affected. Have a nice day.
What size tires are you running if you dont mind me asking?
Currently I am running 285/70R17s. At the time of this video I believe they were 265/70R17s.
285/70/17 does it rub any and are they mud tires orr?
silvester ortiz No they do not rub at all. They are close though. They are BFG KO2s
Did you upgrade to the n3 shocks when you bought the kit?
Yes
China made no doubt. Also your rear springs are riding on the overload leaf. This year (GMT800) TRUCKS HAD WEAK 1,500LB LEAF SPRINGS, MANY BROKE. A TSB was issued for this fault. General Spring has 1,900lb replacements cheap.
I have a truck exactly like yours
Please send the link to order mi leveling kit like you installed on your truck
Thanks for watching! The link is in the description of the video.
How bad did it affect the ride quality ??
Honestly couldn’t really tell a difference. Might be a tad stiffer but I think that’s mainly the new shocks
@@SethLee ah perfect thank you
Is that a stock air deflector /lip or is it from a Tahoe
It is stock
what size tires do you have on there?
Currently I am running 285/70R17s. At the time of this video I believe they were 265/70R17s.
Awesome do you happen to have a pic of it as it sits now ?
Also what brand tires are those or are you using ?
Dennis Phelps I can’t post a pic here but I do have a recent picture of the truck as it sits now on my instagram page @sethleefishing. Also, in this video I had Nitto Trail Grapplers but now I am running BF Goodrich KO2s. The Nittos looked good but they didn’t hold up very long at all. So far the BF Goodrich tires still look brand new! They are very durable.
Wheels spacers???
