This is how I want mine to sit. You said it best, looks like a truck. With how large these newer trucks have gotten, Ive gotten spoiled on the larger size, I want to feel like my old truck is keeping up
I’m doing the same with my GMC 1500. I never heard of a ball joint drop before. Curious why do you do this. Does it add more lift or does it help getting more camber or just provide more clearance?
So you lifted front and rear both 6 inches ? How is it so level afterwards, the fronts on these trucks sit lower than the rears naturally. Im confused, i want to do this to mine but dont know which lift kit to get lol
hey I got a 1995 c1500 I'm going with a 4 inch lift but do I need to lift the front first to rear level so when I put my lift kit on its all leveled or how would I go about doingthay
@@toughflyer looked up the RC 6” lift on their website for this truck and it does picture what appears to be ball joint spacers included in the kit, so I suppose that’s how it’s supposed to be but I personally wouldn’t mount my ballpoints underneath like that.
How much did this cost to install, I got a 1990 stepside Silverado regular cab and got the 3 inch lift kit from rough country I just haven't had it put on yet
Where did you get the plastic protector for the bed rails?I've been struggling to find for a stepside chevy or maybe I just don't know how to search. Either way it would help.
He mentioned putting the link for the wheel adapters/spacer but I dont see it....plus this questioned has been asked a lot of times and still no answer......
I've never understood doing a lift and big tires on a 2wd. It's like the truck is wearing a halloween costume. It looks capable, but only one wheel is gonna spin
He must be a city boy... huh Shaun bunch 🤔... I'm ready to put a lift on my son 95 silverado with a rear locker we live on navajo nation shit dude your funny 😂🤣😆😄
Finally someone who understands how to properly show the stance Thank you

truck looks good way it was but dam that lift and tires makes that truck look good too!!!
Link for the wheel adapters plz .
Looks great…should’ve swapped for 6 lug 2500 rotors and a k1500 or 2500 rear axle to avoid the spacers.
now it's easier to change the oil🤗
Love that my 91 k1500 is lifted, I do everything in the driveway

Mines a 2wd 93 and only lifted it because the roads where I live are TRASH amd cant risk bottoming out on my resto daily project
Yea its a 6 inch lift it says in the caption.. looks good

these kits are usually marketed as lift and level

Do the instructions call for that upper ball joint to be mounted underneath like that? Looks kinda wrong to me… but 🤷♂️
You are correct , That is 100% installed wrong

How did you guys put the shocks in? I’ve ordered replacement shocks, and they don’t fit through the bottom hole of the control arm.
I wonder how hard it was to align
Swap the rear axle and the front rotors... would be way more safer... rear axle will have a beefer axle shaft and the right gearing
So their new kit instead of coming with spindles comes with control arm lowering brackets and the rear also comes with an extra leaf
How big were the rear blocks?

by chance do you know how wide where the spacers?
Did you run the ball joint spacer that lift came with?
Wheel spacer link?
Nice looking truck 🛻
How much money u spent on everything?

What size of lift tho?
What inch spacers are the front and rear?

@@an_auto_addiction5742 Much Appreciated 😁
Is the spring the same size?
What was the size to the wheel spacers
Why didn’t y’all just put the 2500 half ton 6lug rotor on ?
To space out the tires with out having to but the rotor and spacers
Where did you get the wheel space from

4 or 6 inch lift?
Lifting a two wheel drive truck is like lifting a Prius, don't make no cense. Looks good but can't go anywhere. To each their own I guess.
Whats the highest u can lift a 2wd?
0
I think 6 in from rough country.
6 inch suspension 3 inch body you can stack a leveling kit in the front so around 10.5 in total
What size lift ?
What size spacers
Where did he buy those spacers ???
www.motorsport-tech.com/index.html
whats the part number on the spacers
Upper ball joint is not installed right 😂
2957017 is only 33.25 x11.5x17
Just saying though spacer are sweet though

It’s really simple to understand.
It’s their truck. 😂
U mean GMC 1500 not Chevy
why lift a 2x4 🤣
That is what they wanted. Let’s face it half the 4wd lifted trucks haven’t been off-road. 😆
There's always one clown that asks this question.
The better question is..
Why don't you mind your own business? Is it your truck? No? Then stfu.
