Our cousin ate my brother’s cookies he was saving to eat....now here I am..🤣
did your brother smash a door ?
I was riding my skateboard in the house and yeah
😂😂😂
Well i got mad and hit my door i was to strong and here i am trying to save my life if i dont fix it im out!
😂😂😂😂
One of my ex tenants punched a hole in 2 of the doors. I filled it with some expanding foam, left it overnight to harden. Sanded it down flat, went over the top with some putty filler to make the paint stick better to the foam, sanded it flat, then painted it. Was an easy fix. The expanding foam is definitely a good thing to do because it will last longer and remove the hollow part to keep it strong.
This is for those who wouldn’t be fortunate enough to have the wood still intact to glue back like in this video.
Thank you!
Great tip! Thanks :)
why do all holes in doors come from a fist full of passion
I managed to smack one in my bathroom door with the shower rod when changing the old curtains. Good times!
I was playing Job Simulator on the Oculus Rift and attempt to throw an object at a robot, but instead I ended up throwing one of the controllers and made a hole. If only my door is white I can easily to fix it. But it has to be some sort of gray.
I tripped and my forehead made the hole haha
Or a kick 🤦🏻♂️
😔
My boyfriend accidentally damaged our bedroom door in our apartment similar to this and I instantly knew that I’d find an easy and affordable diy fix that we can do on YT. Thank you!
Just punched a hole in my apartment door a week back n been tripping on how ima do this for cheap as possible. Thank you!
Did it work same thing happen to me 🤕
@@sonidelray yea you can barely tell. I’d say just make sure u use a sanding surface with a flat background like a brick so it’s level. Otherwise your fingers WILL leave divits from sanding with uneven pressure
How you matched the paint that’s what I’m afraid of lol
I just threw my controller into the door
Punched a hole trogh my closet door trying to fix before my parents notice
Juan Mateo i did a flying knee on my wall and when i fell back after i busted my door
How did your parents treat you after they found out?
xPumaFangx I broke my door my mum was annoyed at first but only for awhile my dad hasn’t seen yet
My sister locked me out of the room and I kept knocking for a long time, but then started getting mad and hit the door a little to hard
👁️💧👄💧👁️ now my knuckles hurt and my door is broken
Same
My brother punched a hole into the kitchen door because he didn't want to admit that he blocked the upstairs toilet with his big ass shit.
Thanks for the Video!!
I live in a rent place, so cant leave damaged stuff behind. Fell down the stairs, knee first into our toilet door. Made a decent crack in it.
Just followed this from step 3 towards 5 and it fixed my problem. The door is a different colour, buuuuuuuuuut the crack is completely gone and unnoticable.
Thank you so, so much for this video.
Life saver. Thank you for explaining it so well. Sometimes ppl will rush through it with no real explanation of what there doing and why. I have no mitre mate so going to have to substitute for a different glue.
Thank you xx
Thank you for the nice comment.
I did think this video was a bit long, but people seem to like things to be explained.
Any glue should work fine. But with Mitre Mate Glue, it sets instantly so you theirs no need to hold things in position for a long time.
I'm from México, it was so smart to pull up the crashed part with the long screws instead use of foam or anything else, I've saw many videos but this was the best in my situation, I'm going to apply it, thanks you. Sorry cause my english... just practice for me.... it's a very very good video
Thank you for your comment. Your English is excellent!
Is there anyone watching this who *didn't* punch a hole in a door?
Kj16V I kicked it...
Me . Im the lucky one fixing it though😂
Damn right
i did and my hand is bleeding too
Me. My hot headed kid did.
Thanks very much for this. You explained everything really well, used basic tools and the camera work was perfect for what you did.
Thank you for your kind comments.
Great video! Your voice is so relaxing that I forgot I was mad at my child for punching his bedroom door to Ahhh! Now he will be able to fix it! I will freaking make sure of that! I may need to watch the video again if he doesn’t, just for the relaxation value 🤣🤣
Compared to hunting for a door that conforms w/the rest of the house & having to mortise 3 new door hinges, this is definitely easier & less expensive. Thanks!
The same thoughts went through my head as i scratched it thinking, 'how should i fix this'.
Buying and fitting a new door is a lot more work than people realise.
Old door frames are rarely perfectly straight so lots of adjustments to the door will need to be made.
This method is cheap and easy. Anyone can give it a go as long as they follow the steps and have a little patient.
I’m just moving into a new house and a few doors are like this. I think I’ll try and save money by trying this first. Great job thanks 😊
I like to say this worked I used 2 screws that were like 3 inches long and I had a tube of gorilla glue so I put some on and waited 24 hours to make sure the glue dryed. Then I took out the screws and it stayed. So awesome 👏 😎 oh yah and I slapped 👋 some wall putty on which was the easy part. Nice video and thank you this actually works!😊
Thank you, will be trying this on the door my hubby kicked when door got stuck. Now guess who is the one learning how to fix his mistake lol.
just punch my door due hyper stress with people around me, here i am
Thank you! Life saver. Smple solution and easy to follow explanation plus a lovely calming voice :)
The block thing is a life saver. I wouldn’t have even thought about that
Dude u saved my ass. I punched a hole in my desk ( luckily my huge mouse mat covers it) and im scared my parents will see it. Thanks so much 😂
how long did it take you to do it?
Well im gonna need that tomorrow after i tell my boss that i punched the door
I want to put a hole in my door cuz I want to do this....it looks relaxing

Just found this video has I have some door holes to fix. Ordered the ever bond glue ready to start. Thank you. Great video
Well the product came. And its shit hot. Works just as video. Put in a screw in to broken bit of door. Put on the glue. Sprayed and pulled the screw. 10 sec. Its solid. Now all filled in and painted. Thanks so much.
You're welcome.
I'm soo glad it helped you out!
The glue method just makes it soo much easier when it comes to creating and good solid finish.
If you have any before and after pics., send them across.
You are a lifesaver! Thanks
Thanks - that was really helpful. Seems there are a lot of doors with holes in them!
I know! I never realised soo many people had the same problem.
Once you took those screws out, looks like Michael Myers
this is so helpful. My door is in a dark color. Hopefully this will work as well
You're welcome.
Yes it should work on any colour door.
Just follow the steps and then maybe add a few extra coats of your dark paint until you get a nice even coloured finish.
Thank you. Your video is easy too understand.
Marvelous tutorial, thank you so much for the help!
Was drunk last night and now I’m here 🤷♂️😂

Just punched a door because of my sister 😭 if you're tryna get out of trouble just be like ” I slipped and my hand hit the door” 😂 I got out of trouble but I gotta fix it now
Me exactly but I did it cuz of my mom
Good job and explanation
My dog ate my room's door so he could watch me study lol
i kicked my door now i’m tryna figure out how to fix it 😂
Big help thank you
You're welcome
Nice job 👏
Thank you very much!!
You're welcome.
Thank you. Now I dont have to do the much harder project of replacing the entire door.
Hi and thanks for the most informative video..I"m in Canada and it seems Wilko all purpose filler isn't available here. What is something available in N America that would be a good replacement? Thanks.
Thank you
Good job
Great video, thank you! Now if only I can figure out what to do since my door hole does not have the solid piece to pull back and fill over. It’s just a gaping hole about the size of the one that was on your door. But it’s been there for so long that there is no solid piece to pull back and fill over. Any ideas on what to do?
You could place some kind of object in the hole by superglue or something along the sorts to give it a bit of thickness before adding the filler on. IDK just a suggestion
here after my brother locked himself in my room and wouldn't want to leave and argued and was deciding to deal with the hell of a beating or run away. I did neither. I told them I'd have it fixed by next Friday once I have the materials
Cool.
Love the accent ☺️
Can I use that thing white thing they use to seal windows instead? Reson because I'm in Jamaica I dont have what you have...
Kyle thanks you
You're welcome
I couldn’t make a shot in basketball so here I am 😆
i punched a hole thru my brothers door and my door so here i am 😂

Thanks man trying to quit smoking and my door copped it so now it will be fixed 😆
Haha. No problems, we've all been there. Glad I could help.
Hi! Thank you for this video! May I have the names of the products you’re using ?
It's called All Purpose Filler from Wilko.
I always use plasture repairing paste it works like a treat
Threw a shoe when I moved in and it broke my closet. Now we’re moving and I have to fix it ASAP hahaha
through 😭😿
@@ray_x6959 I literally noticed it the second time I saw this comment and fixed it hahahaha
@@ray_x6959 fixed my comment and the hole in my closet door 😎
What grit sandpaper would you recommend to sand with ?
I depends on how much filler you need to take off.
A lot of filler to remove: Use a coarse grit (like 60) to remove most of the bumps of filler. Then when you've levelled the filler flush with the door, work your way up to a finer grit (like 240) to make the filler smooth.
Not much filler to remove: Start with a 200 grit.
I think i used about a 200 grit sandpaper.
For honor made me do this I'm so dead if I don't fix it
I had a mental breakdown right before I found my passport in the washing machine and ending up throwing a shoe at the door😅 silly me..
Summer holidays are almost here and my mom was irritating me on purpose to force me to stay home
I started left hooking and right hooking my bedroom door 🫥
What if i don't have that adhesive spray. can i just use super glue or wood glue?
Wood glue would do. Just takes a little longer to dry. Get some fine fillers and build the area up until flush. Sand and paint. 👍🏻👍🏻
Can you list the brand of paint you used? Thank you so much
I used just a basic white primer by Leyland.
I closed the door while fighting with my brother so now here i am...🤪😅
I kick my parents door and made a hole (dent ) in it now I’m here watching
hello my name is kyle, thank you
You're welcome Kyle.
DIYr you didn’t get the joke
Yes I am Kyle too
Can you please list each material used in the description?
Came here by raging from fortnite
I got hyper and accidentally broke my door for snacks
What if I don’t want to paint the door because it was never painted and will not Mach door frame if I do?
Mad about credit denial, and now I’m here 😩
Can you tell me a little more about the activator..is it a glue?
Can’t find filler, can I use drywall paste???
My brother threw his coke and wanted me to replace it. I said no and...here i am
does this also work on tables??
Can you let me know the tool you have used
Screwdriver, screws, filling knife, sand paper and paint roller.
My sister pissed me off so I punched the door lol I’m fixing it tonight
Same
My door pissed me off so i punched my sister. Kinda the same really.
@@writingonthewall3326 lmfao 😂😂
This very helpful video has gotten me far along from the hole. But I quickly learned do not use silicone putty 😂. Am i supposed to use something called caulk?
Thanks.
No, silicone and caulk won't give you the finish you're looking for.
You need plaster filler.
There are many brands you can buy and they come already mixed (like in this video) or in a powder form which you mix yourself.
It won't cost you much, it's very cheap.
@@diyr6894 oh man. Okay I will scrape all the caulk off. I had a feeling it wasn't right either. I will try shopping again for the right one this time. Thank you for the response
No probs.
You'll be able to fix it. Just take your time. Don't rush, and follow the steps.
Let me know how it goes.
@@diyr6894 the door came out really nice finally. But now that I painted it, I can kind of see the raised area where maybe I didn't file it all the way. Should I just leave it or is there something I need to do? Like you said I only notice it because I knew it was there
my brother punched my door & i HAVE to fix it. thanks to my mum for defending the little rat, now i have to do it myself
Well I’m here now 😂😂
Good to know I’m not the only one who jus fucked up a door😂
Wife came and started talking to me while I was down to the last 3 people in warzone and hear I am 🤦🏾♂️
My mom took my pc for no reason bcuz she was mad for something and I got mad too now I’m here
What are the names of supplies that you used
Wilko's (If you're from the UK).
But it would be unfair to say Wilko's sell poor quality product because it's probably a generic filler labeled Wilko's.
DIYr I’m not from the UK
If your door is made in a standard size, is hollow core and you dont already have the tools it may be cheeper just to buy a replacement.
I’m having a hard time getting the nail through the broken piece because I feel like I’m gonna break it more . What should I do ?
Don't use a nail.
Use a Big Screw because it will grab and hold onto that broken piece.
If you're finding it hard to get it in, make a small hole with a drill, then screw the big screw gently into that hole until it grabs onto the broken piece.
Remember, take your time. Don't cause more damage which will mean more work.
Thanks hope it works
You could have filled the hole in with foam put the filler on top sand it down paint and been done...
I did think about using foam, but i wanted to keep the repair as cost effective as possible. Plus foam can make a real messy if you don't know what you're doing.
What kind of glue did you use
The mrs made me leavea hole in our bathroom door, she has no clue yet and I'm here tryna fix it before my ass is found in a 6ft ditch
What’s the spray call?
Hi could you please tell me the name of glue and spray thanks
The spray and glue is called 'Mitre Adhesive'.
You'll be able to buy it from any DIY store and they come in many brands.
In this video I used a brand called Ever Build.
Can I make the base with a piece of cardboard, plastic, wood or something? The door piece fell in.
What do I do if the big bit fell into the door?
Damn the Dallas cowboys
i’m fucked i kicked my door open for no reason and now i’m here
Link to the spray ?
