This is the best channel for a car review. You always all about what the car does best than talking about negatives. Your reviews are very relevant and useful.
Surprised and slightly disappointed there was no in-depth commentary or shots of the taillights. However, still a good insight into the M4 CSL - thanks
I have to say the first time I saw the M4 I did not like it but over time it has grown on me this current CSL does look great. It’s a bit heavy but who would not want this car in their garage.
Original 3.0 CSL was based on E9, which was replaced with the E28, so true successor was E63. And if you do look at the E63 M6, lightweight was the main focus.
Thank you for capturing the spirit of this car...I have an allocation and after all the reviews I sense you captured the essence of why in fact it is worthy of the CSL badge. it is special...it is not a GT3! it is a M4CSL. period.
The highly anticipated M3 CSL 3.0 is going to be the icing on the cake. This M4 CSL is like an appetizer before the main course. This car certainly lives up to what BMW and the M Division are about. It wears the CSL badge proudly. The M3 CSL 3.0 will be the grand finale to the CSL pedigree.
This gorgeous CSL in M2 sounds and looks a lot more pent up and violent, ready to rumble than the other M models. No chill just destroy. Then comfort mode to grab the misses or some groceries!
Fully agree on the lost back seats. An option to have a rear bench which could be removed with a special tool for a track day, would give owners the flexibility to use the car as a " family car" allow bmw to make extra profit on the cost option of lightweight rear seats. And a carbon door card would have finished the race car vibe inside.
This is really what the standard M4 should’ve been like! I hear you with the options, should come with lightweight rear seats 💺 if you want, and M xDrive .
I love the m 4. Never been a bmw head myself. But I respect the sht out of them. And their M and alpina is top top in the car game of course. Most of all I think they’ve taken on the GT R nismo body shape. The edges and lines. GT R definitely one of my favourites als well for the racing side. I think it’s great. BMW needed a breath of fresh air for the race and track department. Rival Porsche and the pure madness coming from there
Here on the Public-Streets for DRIVERS all over in EUR it seems so, the M4 CSL is THE Vehicle everbuildt, no Supercar, no Superbike, no one else is able to follow it on Public-Streets for Drivers...thats the Difference for rare "CSL".
Would have put 285/30r20 tyres on 10.5's and 295/30r20 on 11's, instead of 275/30r20 on 10's and 285/25r21 on 10.5's. Considering the weight and power wider tyres and wheels are needed. Also taller sidewall height will have a more gradual release of traction around corners, better at maintaining traction around corners that are less than smooth and less heat soak for track use. So these two issues are the most non serious aspects of the M4 CSL. As a side note the M3/M4 noticeably smaller rear tyre sidewall height looks not well thought out.
This BMW would do better times on the track with wider tires on the rear !. 285/30 R20 are too skinny, they should use atleast 305 to the rear. 3.0 CSL will be an AMG and Porsche killer
Such a shame - that car is never going to to worth £120k next year/year after surely its just 80k car. Its very heavy and CSL at all ...its 500kgs heavier than the last CSL. BMW have turned it another AMG weighty cruiser. Drove an E46 CSL again last week for a reminder of what BMW used to do, decent cars.."shades of M5 CS" yes the sheer weight of it. Cant even put the power down.

Best graphics ever
Love your bmw reviews

28:30 "everything is off, let's see what it can do...." traction control immediately starts flashing

These look amazing irl, i don't really like the old front anymore :D
You are still the MAN when it comes to depth and breadth of knowledge regarding both the BMW and Merc Vehicle line-up!
Great review - keep up the good work! Just a note to say that is not a Sport Evolution E30 M3 (they were made only in black or red)
Fantastic video. Luv this CSL.
my *favorite* part of the video is 27:02. He showed us how it looked from each side. 10/10 review
Not one mention of the rear tail lights which are stunning. M4 is an awesome car. Great review.
26:35 One of the main factors I refuse to EVER settle for an electric vehicle. The ICE is an incredible creation. All glory to God.

As we can see from thr CS badges which aren't as rare. It will definitely be an appreciating asset.
I'd get a regular m4 and buy the Adro replacement front end and carbon body kit. Looks insane and fixes the grill IMO
Adro kit looks horrible makes the nose longer and it loses the carbon vents and makes the front look like an blob fish 🤮
Either offer a roll cage with no seats, or offer proper lightweight rear seats 💺 would have been the right way to go!
Thank you for capturing the spirit of this car...I have an allocation and after all the reviews I sense you captured the essence of why in fact it is worthy of the CSL badge. it is special...it is not a GT3! it is a M4CSL. period.
Here in the US my car came on Cup 2Rs.
Raz, you're a legend
What happened to the new curve display? Why it doesn't have it?

These are the ones I love the most hash tag bimmer ❤
It's beyond me why this channel does not have 10M subs! Excellent reviews and content.
Do a w212 e63s facelift!!!!! Your videos are so detailed! Love em
Now that you have a 992 GTS, how does this compare to it?
Hey Raz on the E36 chassis, didn't Bmw make the lightweight version that Paul Walker owned as well
True, the white one
This gorgeous CSL in M2 sounds and looks a lot more pent up and violent, ready to rumble than the other M models. No chill just destroy. Then comfort mode to grab the misses or some groceries!
Theres a cup holder in both doors, dont put coffee there but u can put a bottle there 22:00
How many oil changes you get before rod bearings are due?

I know this is a M4 CSL video but why is there no lid for that coffee
The sound of the new C63 4Cylinder is much better🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
hell no 😂 keep coping mercedes’ fan boy
You mean the the speakers
I'm more puzzled by fact that you wouldn't put a lid on the coffee
Great video!
Forget the CSL it’s the Hommage I’m looking forward too!
What a car 😍😍
I suspect they will offer an m3, csl. which will in-fact have the four seats you're referring to.
Called an M3 CS.
It's got yellow headlights, that alone makes it worth it
I would love to own one of these.
This is really what the standard M4 should’ve been like! I hear you with the options, should come with lightweight rear seats 💺 if you want, and M xDrive .
It’s like they made the helmet thing in the rear so that the car will be in movies more
breathability clearly not a priority here over supplying to the since few. the cup holders are In the door -- bottles permitted.
how does it compare to your 911 GTS ?

It shifts gears like a dct

There is a bottle holder in the door panel.
Legendary
Magnificent👌
E92 M3 GTS will we be forever the best one cause V8
Great looking car

25:25 This guy 😭🤣
Ridiculous how heavy it is
Great looking car but I would go for the similarly priced m5cs all day
GTS and CSL ethos are a different thing.
Interesting what he said about the front end possibly being changed for the LCI...
One day I'm gonna buy this lovely toy , it's my dream ❤️
2WD drive on uk roads in the winter no thanks, I`ll stick with my new A45s 4 wheel drive and its nicer interior thanks!!
BMW MADE A FORD MUSTANG GT 500
M5 cs the best bmw
No coffee holder?! Not a buy, period.
10/10
and the A45 would be all over this on a wet b road or track and have alot more money left in my bank thanks AMG!!
BMW M on Landstreets...
and alot lot more careful in the wet lol!!
That grill still looks discusting!! The new 3.0 CSL looks a million times better 👍🏻
Great video. Pointless car!
This car is a G.O.A.T
Should be called Mr.M
27/36 min he drives the car? Seriously man? It's a car. You drive it. You can talk about the interior based on how you feel when you are driving it.
New m340i interior is trash no buttons electric car vibes 🤮
U have a lot American fans as well so please use LBS if possible thanks
Why wouldn't you just get a GT3? LOL
Not everyone is in love with the GT3?
Maybe you need rear seats..
@@flsupraguy it doesn't have rear seats.
Near enough impossible to get a GT3 from Porsche, however you’d be able to get a CSL
@@johnguidetti5839 not true used gt3 everywhere
Please do not smack the hood that hard.
Girth 🤣🤣
The goofy color ways cheapen the look IMO.
give me a GT3 anytime....
This BMW would do better times on the track with wider tires on the rear !. 285/30 R20 are too skinny, they should use atleast 305 to the rear. 3.0 CSL will be an AMG and Porsche killer
Please don’t close the bonnet like that.
Bavarian motor works? really ? bayerische motoren werke min 3.14
Rather this than the abomination 2023 C63
For all that money, kind of slow
P
Nicr
Not a bad looking car but naming it CSL is a joke.
What a missed opportunity, this will have same fate as e36, ugliest of the bunch with no resale value
Such a shame - that car is never going to to worth £120k next year/year after surely its just 80k car. Its very heavy and CSL at all ...its 500kgs heavier than the last CSL. Horrible
No Alcantara dash? Come on BMW dont cheap out...this car deserved the dash covered in Alcantara
Mramg is Underrated 🥲
It’s the channels name. It sucks lol
