This actually got me emotional lol These are probably the most genuine and passionate AAA devs in gaming right now, and the work they've done for this game is TRULY above and beyond! I'm glad that I got World day 1, and Iceborne day 1 too, so I experienced all of these developments as they happened. This was an incredible community journey and I have nothing poor to say about it. Thank you Capcom, and MH Team!
Capcom and CD Projekt Red are probably neck and neck for being the best developers in the world right now - there’s probably a few smaller developers too but as for big boy developers they’re the best in the scene. Let’s just hope they don’t fall from grace. Looking at you, Bethesda.
I’ve spent more time in this game than any other, over 1500 hours! Helped me get through a divorce and make some new friends. Incredible game, I’m so glad I got MHW and Iceborne. Thanks for such an amazing game.
what a ride this game has been. i still remember when base world released and being on the fence about it, it being my first MH. 1200 hours later im so glad i decided to jump in. through all the hardships of fighting tough monsters, to the magic and wonder of exploring the world and discovering new ones and new monsters, discovering the amazing community. All of it. Thank you Capcom for one of my favorite games of all time
778 + 1200 + 500 = 2478 hours still get more hours lol I love this game 😭 and this is last title but I hope the next gen consoles mhw give us more monsters they are only 67 monsters not like the old mhw 94 monsters. It was a great journey 😭
Agreed, all thanks to Monster Hunter, I've had something to do throughout the years, and it's always been amazing. Thanks so much, Capcom, for bringing joy to so many people.
One of the best games ever created closing it big with his most legendary Black Dragon. Thank you so much for making this master piece of a game, was worth every penny
I was introduced to Monster Hunter by a friend and we played the beta and bought this game on Day 1. We went thru the entire story together, me the charge blade main and him the almighty Hammer Bro! and when we defeated Xeno'jiva for the first time, it felt like I just finished an amazing journey with my friend by my side. Update after update we would jump back in and fight each new monster and face all the new challenges together. He taught me everything there was to know about the game. He told me about all the monsters he had hoped to see come to MHW like Brachydios, Rajang, Zynogre, and especially Fatalis. Unfortunately he left us shortly after Iceborne was announced. It crushed me seeing all the new monsters that he so eagerly wanted to see make an appearance and knowing he wasn't here to enjoy them. Since Iceborne came out, I retired my blade and learned to pick up the hammer. I beat Iceborne using the hammer, so in a way, its like he was the one who finished iceborne, one Big Bang at a time. If only he could see where this game is now, and to see whats to come in the Final Stand with Fatalis. Miss you buddy, hammer bros for life!

Thank you my Palico Thank you my Poogie Thank you my Armor Thank you my Weapons Thank you my Scoutflies Thank you for being there when I needed you the most. But most importantly, thank you Capcom... for this masterpiece of a game.
Awh you even thanked the scoutflies :D Tbh we'd have been totally lost without those little bright buddies guiding us along with the Sapphire Star of course.
I don't normally write comments, but for this, I will. Thank you so much, MH Team for all that you've done. This game will be forever one of my favorties, not because that it's a damn good game, but because of all else that it encompasses. It became a part of my life that has changed who I am and how I've perceived games. MH is more than just a game, it's life itself. Thank you. *Edited for spelling*
On the last 4 minutes is when you realize that the journey is almost over and that this is it...the final update I will always treasure the memories I made playing this game
btw, why am i crying? when he say ¨Final devs diary¨ and it becomes more tearful when i watch at 12:41 That first cutscenes is where my journey and my story begins. i have so much fun of this game, i met so many friends, learned how to become patient, clear thoughts, this game thought me everything, how to be smart all the time, play as a team and leadership (at my own squad) and more importantly not giving up. I really have so much fun playing this game and can´t believe it is on their final steps or update. so many memories happens on this game, idk why i´m on tears now but it kinda sad to hear ¨Final Devs. diary¨ I´m really glad that MHW exist, i´m really glad that MHW was my best game ever, and i´m really glad that i played this. All those memories, all the funs, and all the hardships that i put my time altogether, I will treasure this from the very bottom of my heart, all the money that i invest on this game was all priceless, as long as i have so much fun of it. if in the future, when my son or grandchilds ask me ¨what is your favorite game on your era?¨ then, i will put my heart and soul to answer that interesting question ¨It is Monster Hunter World¨ and can´t wait share the memories that i have to my grandchildren. thank you *CAPCOM* for all the memories and the time you spent to keep us happy and entertained even on this time of crisis and still, you guys are still there and doing your jobs. you keep supporting us when troubles comes and you are there and responding. i will support you *CAPCOM*, till the very end. i will treasure this game to my bottom of my heart until the end of times, and i still holding it. Thank you so much for your hardworks and....... HAPPY HUNTING!!
Can feel the love just reading your comment, bro. Cheers to this words and feelings. It is an amazing game the created amazing memories we will hold forever in our thoughts. Rare stuff, and I'm glad we can enjoy it. What a time to be alive.
I feel you. Don't worry my fellow hunters, there will ofc be another MH project in the future following World's success. In the meantime, keep hunting!
I never really got to play this game with other people. Never had a group that I'd get on with. But there was something magical about helping other hunters take down big monsters and then having those few seconds of celebration before we go our separate ways. I love this game and series so much, thank you for doing this
Yeah same boat unfortunately. I did have a group for like a couple days when the game came out, but they couldn't get into the combat, as we were all new to MH. But even playing with randoms was some of the most fun and exciting moments I've had playing video games.
I as well have never had a hunting group for MHW, as I've primarily been a solo hunter for nearly a decade. I'm definitely not upset about it, but it's heartwarming that so many hunters around the world got together and forged great friendships. I have my loved ones in the real world so I'm great as well, but when the next game comes out, I'm not gonna be afraid to get online. 😎
Hunters who joined the series in World: Do not despair! Although this chapter is over, there is a new one to come soon enough! As a veteran of the series I can assure you; you *will* experience something as beautiful and fresh as Monster Hunter World again! We must simply be patient and enjoy this bountiful content they have provided for us. Start a new character, even! Before you know it, the next Monster Hunter adventure will be right on the horizon!
World has been a great introductory for me, and was super fun but eventually I just burned myself out on it, and a kinda lack of weapons like Gen U has, though Gen U feels, different than normal MH I think??? It's been super fun tho, need to re-install after rage quitting Rajang hah
Mhw was probably the most fun I've had as a first series game in so long, ive often thought about what it would be like if that was the way our world was, it makes me so happy to be a part of the mh community
@@Dorda098 The different fighting styles and weapon arts aren't in other MH games. Outside of those it's similar to the older games. Granted, those two changes really change the game. The good news is the assets from MHW and MHWI should be ported to the next game easily, so we should have a much bigger weapon roster in the next game that I suspect will be announced next year.
I still have to finish MHW fully, then I have MHGU to play, the games have so much content, it is always fun to come back and play. Even if I didn't have these two games I would play MH3U on Wii U, still possible to raise my hunter rank and awesome atmosphere.
Not gonna lie that last 4 minutes made me tear up a bit. What an amazing game. But hey look on the bright side, this can only mean one thing; a new MH game!
@@thunderborn3231 not if they return to the old monster hunter style of gameplay with the next one, new head players are gonna get their shit waxed then, lmao
At that last section where they showed off everything they did for MHW and MHWI...I cried. Thank you Capcom, thank you for making one of the best games of all time, without it I would not have met some amazing people...thank you Capcom...Happy Hunting everyone...Happy Hunting
@@codyhazley7013 I took 3 new players under my wing and I'll teach them everything I can. It's definitely going to be hard, but I know they won't disappoint me. Have fun with Rise, you deserve it after so much waiting.
@@codyhazley7013 You need to level up your gear, hunt some high rank monsters for both armor and weapons. Then level up your armor to its limit. Bring a lot of healing items for the hunt. Hope it helps you.
YES WE WILL remember it! But I'll give you a month til they reveal the next game at Tokyo Game Show next month then we'll have something to be hype about.
Some have only just started their journey, but it will soon be coming to the end, I know we will remember the game, and it will stay in my heart for years to come. Thank you, Capcom, for all the wonderful memories and hunts we got to experience.
It's already a common trait in Jpn action fantasy MMO and or RPG games for the main character either solo or in some cases also with some help from few others, to be able to slay/defeat from god-like beings to straight up god/goddess just because they can. Even the fact when the societies in the rest of the world aside from the main character & the few others who helped it in said games are actually fears and sometimes also worshipping those powerful beings. Take example to games like Final Fantasy, Bayonetta, Asura's Wrath, Persona 4, Fate Grand Order etc, and Monster Hunter is no exception to that. In Monster Hunter's case the only god-like beings certainly are the powerful monsters themselves which are feared by the societies/civilizations around them due to how dangerous they are to them. From Akantor & Ukanlos (Black & White God), Shagaru Magala (Punishing God Of The Mountains), to the Dangerous First Class Monsters. In numerous MH games the main character which is the nameless hunter at the end always able to overcome those beings, certainly the nameless hunter do have the "god level potential", even though not as great as other main characters in other franchises which have their own stronger god-like beings to straight up gods/goddesses.
I like how everyone is sentimental, especially the new hunters, I am too. But guys! This just means they're making the next game!!! HYPE!!! Also this has been routine for me since Freedom Unite. So the release is also kind of the game loop in the game. Sad as it is, this is one of the stuff in the planet that keeps me going hahaha.
Watching the Dev diary made me appreciate all the feedback and hype that people gave towards Fatalis last year during the series' anniversary, they weren't gonna add him but after seeing how people were hyped they just decided to do it. they really do listen to the fans and thats why this game has been a huge success!
Honestly, the Monster Hunter dev team is surely one of the best AAA dev teams on the market as far as staying in touch with their fanbase goes. Probably because a lot of them actually try to play their own games casually from a player perspective like it was mentioned in this very video. Over all the years Monster Hunter existed, they never tried to reinvent themselves, they introduced new features in fairly slow increments and instead mainly focused on refining what was already super fun about the series.
I mean as someone who put over 400 hours into MH4U, I knew straight away when started MhW that it was the ace cadet, the dumbass who tried to win the love of MY guildmarm by attempting to kill a Rajang >:(
Remember back to the year of release? And how it wasnt just Monster Hunter? But other great stuff that if im not mistaken was also by capcom? This is my first actual monster hunter game i have ever played... but i rememeber discovering that this whole franchise i never knew about... i learned about all those great flgaships. Zinogre, glavenus, deviljho, tigrex. I was sad that well i never got to fight them but then a lot of them came to iceborne.. and totally kicked my ass but as i fought them more i learned and got better and i am gratefull because thats what monster hunter is, a game about falling and getting back up again over and over. So even if this journey is coming to an end, all i can say is. I cant wait for the next one. Happy hunting!
12:30 I remember getting choked up everytime I led someone to this wonderful series, and watching the credits roll with them. This compilation hits so hard, 2 years of memories, 2 years of fun, and 2 years well spent.

Ever since my life started in Monster Hunter, i've never been the same, it was the biggest life changing event in all my life, all the way from fighting a measly jagras, to challenging black dragons like Alatreon, and now *fatalis* It was a great 2 long years, amazing it was... I'm proud and glad i picked this up, i know others feel the same if i'm not wrong... Thank you capcom for this all, yeah i didnt get my Dire Miralis to return but i aint complaining, i'm still enjoying through and through, this is a truly amazing game, *thank you capcom for taking your precious time to making this* It was all worth it, and we all love it
Cheers to Capcom! Thank you so much for all the joy and happiness in this game, and in the games before, I am looking forward to seeing what they do next. Thank you so much, Capcom, and see you all in the final battle.
Man, imagine how you'd be if you started even earlier like myself. Back on the psp, it was all I ever had that no one could take from me. Guiding me through life in a way. Every time I thought I was down, I'd play, facing a bigger challenge and realizing that I can overcome anything with enough determination and preparing I'm glad I'm not the only one affected by this game
You said it man as hyped as I am for this final fight this last stand still it will indeed be a very bittersweet moment indeed this journey has been incredible and I can't wait to see what's in store for us next the feels are so fucking real Capcom did a awesome fucking job with MH world/iceborne and it's left me both speechless and with tears of joy but this is just the beginning of something much greater for what's ahead and I know we all can't wait to see what that is going to be
@FuranDuron until next time, see you in October and in the next MH game,it's been an amazing journey for us all even if as individuals we never actually saw each other we have all been on this journey together since launch and it's been mind blowing imo emotionally tugging etc and I would never change my experiences on my journey through MH world/iceborne for anything so happy I joined this franchise even as a generation 5 hunter I can't wait to see what's next
I'm actually crying right now. I would never, ever in my life thought that a game can become such a giant part of my life. I will never be able to thank you enough for all of this amazing content and support you gave us. Every developer from this point should look up to you and your work, you are a perfect example of how games should be made and how the community of it should be handled. The game is named "World" not because of the size ar revolution. It's about how stays in our hearts. This game became our World. Thank you so much Capcom ♥️ Thank you Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne team. You are the best. Happy Hunting!
Ada2987PL The past 2 years has been the most amazing experience of our lives. And we will remember the treasures that this wonderful game bought out for us
I've played 850hours so far and I'm happy to spend at least another 300 hours until the next MH game gets released. I won't say goodbye yet because there are so many things left to do!!!! (I'm just trying to be strong here, I'm feeling nostalgic with this video too)
700+ hrs into this game, and thousands on the old titles and it's finally comes to an end. A very emotional experience for me and probably 2 of my random partners in this game, PinkChen and Masamune (Both swore on the Greatsword as the best weapon lol). What a journey my friends, what a journey. Happy Hunting!, May the Sapphire Star lights our way, always.
I got emotional so hard at the end . Ty MH World and ty MHW : Iceborne developer Teams. You are simply the greatest champs in my heart , the journey was incredible and while I really only got skilled with the Arrival of Alatreon it happened . So you taught me to overcome my inner demon when all seems lost . Happy happy birthday Monster Hunter and Happy Hunting ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
MHW is the first that I went past 1K hours played and if I had more time I would have played more of it. The Free Title updates are awesome. Such a well done, care and love given game deserves the title of masterpiece.

This game saved me from depression. I am legit tears. Thank you so much to all the developers. You saved me. This game was so therapeutic for me. It really kept me distracted and motivated through tough times. Thank to everyone who helped make this game
Either it is in real life or game... This game teach us, at first we may be weak and have no idea about things and problems.... But, after several approaches, learn from anything we could learn, assess and prepare for upcoming situations... In the end, we can handle the situations... Now, whenever hard times comes... Say to it, I won't be depressed anymore, but I will hunt you down... Happy hunting fellow hunter..!!
I remember waking up heart pounding at 4 am on my wedding day. Played MHW in my hotel room to calm my nerves. And this one time I was on assignment and my company booked me in this cheap motel. I had to put a chair on the bed because the TV hanged from the ceiling. It was when they release Kulve and I was pretty pissed because I keep on disconnecting. So many fond memories. Huge thanks to the team. You did a phenomenal job! I love this game very much.
The trip down memory lane at the end made me shed a tear or two. I have been a Monster Hunter fan of 9 years now and i have to thank Capcom for making Monster Hunter World, not only is it my favorite Monster Hunter game but it became my favorite video game of all time! Many memories were made of laughter, stupidity, success, and rage, I was with the game day one and got the steelbook case with the origin gear. Now 2 years later with a playtime of 1217+ hours I have enjoyed the New World and the many monsters old and new, many quests were completed with my older brother and cousin and many failed with stupidity and thing going horribly wrong (thanks Deviljho). I loved the story for the base game and Iceborne and all the characters (Yes even the Handler), this game with have a special place in my heart and all i have to say to Capcom is THANK YOU! "HAPPY HUNTING" Sorry about my terrible writing
It is fitting that Fatalis is the last monster for the storyline. I'm still sad that Gore and Valstrax(among many) weren't added or that we didn't get Black Dragon Jiiva but hey it's Fatalis. I love how they're going to take us to the castle where he's usually fought too. Get to see the graphics at work on that stage as well as Fatalis. Also I hope the next Monster Hunter game is going to be just as good if not better than this one.
i wept like a small child knowing that this game's life cycle is ending but it also made me really happy knowing i have sooooo many special memories associated with this game i wish it could go on forever but the fact that its ending made me feel like i was saying goodbye to a good friend and i think it takes a special kind of game to make people feel like that and for me no matter what was happening in my life monster hunter was there for me i am so sad to see this game end but i hope there will be another awesome game of this caliber in the future for the net gen consoles and i know that in the future i will be pumped for the next game its been quite the ride for monster hunter world and i still cant believe that its ending i tip my hat to you CAPCOM for making a wonderful game and as always HAPPY HUNTING!
It’s sad to see iceborne come to an end, but the end of iceborne almost certainly confirms that a new monster hunter game is on the way, as has been tradition with previous titles!
You are 100% correct. This happens to be my first Monster Hunter game, and I tried it on a random note. I don’t think I’ve put the hours into this game since the super Smash Bros. series. I have played and failed so many times in this game that you’d think a person would give up, but because I stuck it out and kept trying and learning that some road blocks have been broken down. But the fact that pretty much you can do a lot more as it ends just makes me happy. I’ll keep playing this game until I can no longer find randoms and even then I’ll probably still play.
It's funny that When Monster Hunter world Got announce the true fans of the stage where cheering on and they seem small at first but yet when we got to play the game the roars grew louder and louder. And the Game Gained more love then anyone would Think it did. And we end this Game on HIGHEST NOTE this series has to offer. Love this series
I love this game so much. I grew up with this series, and I turned 21 this year a few weeks ago. These games have helped me through my childhood. I literally wouldn’t be who I am today without my friends I made through these games and the memories I have. Thank you so much capcom.
Hi fellow hunter, I too turned 21 this month and as a Japanese hunter myself I’m glad you enjoyed the game. All we have left to do is kick that black lizard’s ass and witness the end of the journey. Happy hunting, and see you in the Castle Schrade!
Even with Leviathan and other skeletons missing, this has been the best MH ever. Can't wait to play World 2 with the continuation of the story and showing more of the 5 legendary dragons (Safi'Jiiva and Shara Ishvalda are two of them) and leviathans such as Agnaktor...
@@senatorarmstrong3464 So far I know Monster Hunter titles never had been sequels story-wise. Iceborne was the 1st one I think. But I really like how they changed up things in this game and I hope they'll be able to add more monster types in the next title. Fanged Beast like Rajang really worked out so it is possible.
Another gen passing... we old now This is the best dev diary i've seen in years. i hope MH team keeps doing them forever and the other capcom teams use the same way. (SFV did something like it). I think if everybody in capcom loved their games like the MH team loves MH, capcom would be really high in the "dev tierlist" haha. GGs.
I've started playing monster hunter with 3 ultimate and have played all the games to release after. All great games in their own right. This one, however, has a special place in my heart. Alot of the updated features of the game have revolutionized the hunting experience, and I personally have enjoyed the experience thoroughly. With anticipation in my heart and max potions in my inventory, I'll be steeling myself to take the fight to Fatalis when he arrives. . .and I will win!
actually,i think is The Fatalis our character from MH4U,thus explaining the connection to the A-lister,in the sense of our hunter fighting, killing, and using fatalis armor and then one day dissapearing from the A-lister and all the others lives. Which i hope is the case, cause it means i will be fighting myself. (Funny thing, when i completed MH4U in the 3DS,i lost one day misteriously the game, and i couldnt find it ever,so this will be kind of personal).
@@draconinja2728 I know that this is pretty much the set in stone fatalis lore and i would LOVE if they implied this, but i have doubts with how happy go lucky world tends to be they would 100% confirm the whole "armor becomes full on fatalis" thing in this. but I do love the idea and hope your on to something

Thats why im gonna take a break from the game until the update drops, just because the game is gonna play sooo much better after the update and i dont wanna burn myself out
Not the only one but a super rare gem among the few companies that stand against the corporate greed. Sadly alot of people seem to overlook Monster Hunter and only talk about CD Project Red even though the devs at Capcom are just as if not more consumer friendly. Next year will be big for Monster Hunter. 2 new games and a global release movie even. I'm glad the franchise is growing at astounding rate but I also hope they remain the way they are now, I don't want the company to stain Monster Hunter just because it's becoming extremely profitable...
It's so sad that MHW is ending now. I couldn't get my friends into it but I still played with some great people online and this game has really helped me to overcome adversity and challenge myself to do better. This game was life changing (for the better). Thanks for the absolute masterpiece CAPCOM (especially the MH team)! Happy Hunting everyone and let's get ready for the next MH masterpiece to come! 🍻
@@traviswilliams2348 Gore would honestly have been excellent, they could have begun the story with him spreading the madness and every monster acting liking Deviljho, invading every locale; then in the next game continue the story and have Shagaru be the elder we need to hunt down in the base game.
Thank you for all capcom. I dont have friends so in this 2 years the MHW universe and players were my only friends. Thank you very much for this experience.
i have raged against alatreon until my screams of agony brought his downfall, but years ago i stood in the ancient forest in awe of its expansive pathways with nothing but a shield and a knife; its been one hell of a journey hunters, and though its coming to an end, this game will stand as one of the greatest i've ever played.
That end sequence was one of the most satisfying and emotional things I've seen. Thank you Monster Hunter!! Can't wait to see what the future holds for you
I remember sitting in my living room playing monster hunter 3 on our Wii and getting my butt handed to me by awesome looking monsters. I didn't understand much about the game (I was 10) I just sort of forced my way through the story line with sheer persistence. Now a decade later I still feel the same rush fighting a rathalos or a diablos as I did when I was just a kid playing a game I didn't fully understand on the family Wii. I thank you Capcom from the bottom of my heart for making this a reality and making a game so breathtakingly beautiful and fun to play that I nearly shed a year whenever I hear the main theme of the series. Happy hunting! Now and forever!
Tri was how I really got into the series as well! My fiance bought me a copy and asked one of his hunting buddies to help me with the basics of the game. Here I was, in my early twenties, slapping monsters silly with a big-ass sword (still a great sword main to this day) and having the time of my life!
MHFU was what got me into the MH series for the PSP. Man the memories I had with the game with cousins and friends. Continued to play the series and each of it never brought disappointment to me. I wish Capcom and all the hunters well, let's hope that we all be able to see each other again in the next MH.
@@yamigekusu I think it took me until almost the end if the story to use anything besides sword and shield. Now I like to use bowguns mostly, although I've tried a few different weapon types and made builds for them
Started MH on the PSP (FU, Chinese fan patch) when I was 12 and moved on to the Wii but kinda similar to your story. Still hate Rathalos and Diablos. World has brought me tons of joy.
@The Knight of Green Same, I've actually taken breaks from the FromSoft games just to exclusively play MHW. Been playing it since Day 1 and honestly? Definitely one of my favorite games. Sometimes I wish it was just a little more difficult/punishing though, similar to the SoulsBorne games, y'know? Fantastic game though.
Not gonna lie, when that montage started, I was tearing up a little. I'm so glad I got to be apart of this journey with all of you guys. Thank you so much developers, you guys made an amazing game, no question!
I really appreciate all the work thats gone into this game As my first monster hunter game it did not disappoint and i think it is one of my favorite games
You guys are awesome, following the developer diary and playing the game the whole while. It was a really interesting experience and i really love how you guys always addressed the fans the way you did with these videos. The game + the community made this a game 10/10 for me. It was a special experience. Thanks!

@@arch_2076 The story about the armor thing? That's probably just another exaggeration of Fatalis' lore. There isn't really one Fatalis since Crimson is hatched and turned to adult within hours while White is a grampa version.
@@CheshireDCat the first game in 2004 explains how those who wear the armour change. Stop lying. Also, the three Fatalis, black crimson and white. Are all 3 seperate dragons. Not the same dragon with age differences. C'mon....
Ah damn, didn't expect to get emotional. MHW may not be perfect, but so far it's become my favorite. I'll never forget E3 2018 when MHW was announced. I lost my mind and it felt like a dream come true. I'm hoping I can experience those same emotions again when MH6 is announced in the far future.
God I really hope they do another game like this, I've made so many friends on this. This game got me through highschool and convinced me to really take the next level with my art, I hope one day I can help create a game like this.
Considering this is the most selling capcom game ever, you already know they will continue to bring MH to the big consoles and PC. They would be incredibly stupid to release the next title only on switch. I know that some people want it and i get it, but still. Either bring the next title on ALL platforms or stick to the big 3
@@BBBerti I mostly want a new MH on the Switch because we know it's going to be a long wait for the next big game on next gen consoles, so having more MH in between the wait would be nice.
Thank you all so much for an absolutely stunning monster hunter experience. Ive never been disappointed in the past, but these 2 yrs have just crushed my expectations completely. Should be insanely proud of your team. And to all the players thank you for being part of such a great community and see you in the next adventure.

Me too! I liked to go back to Low rank and help new players climb up. Some of my best memories tbh.

The actual surprise was them stating, for a fact, that the excitable a-lister is indeed the ace cadet.
Krampus indeed, it is interesting even though everyone who had played 4 already put 2&2 together. It's still awesome that he's getting his own story.

A very emotional experience for me and probably 2 of my random partners in this game, PinkChen and Masamune (Both swore on the Greatsword as the best weapon lol). What a journey my friends, what a journey. Happy Hunting!, May the Sapphire Star lights our way, always.

I almost did actually.

Man, no game has made me feel this happy and sad at the same time. Thank You Capcom. Hope I'll live long enough to support your next MH game.
I hope one day I can play MH in VR, that would be beyond awesome.
MHW is the first that I went past 1K hours played and if I had more time I would have played more of it. The Free Title updates are awesome. Such a well done, care and love given game deserves the title of masterpiece.

I'm still stunned that such a big game got this much free content. EA etc. should take notes.
To be fair, while monster hunter dlc content is free, you still have to work hard to acquire the new gear.

Oh that end part.. It hits hard every time. Thank you, Capcom, for introducing me to this wonderful series and may the sapphire star light your way!
oh my god fatalis theme is so beautifuulll!!! 2:55

Wait so no more monster hunter games no more update no more new monsters
I love this game so much. I grew up with this series, and I turned 21 this year a few weeks ago. These games have helped me through my childhood. I literally wouldn’t be who I am today without my friends I made through these games and the memories I have. Thank you so much capcom.
Hi fellow hunter, I too turned 21 this month and as a Japanese hunter myself I’m glad you enjoyed the game. All we have left to do is kick that black lizard’s ass and witness the end of the journey. Happy hunting, and see you in the Castle Schrade!
As they say: One door closes, another door opens.
At least until the new game comes up I'll know I can enjoy MHWI to the fullest.
This is a massive *"you just HAD to be there"* moment
Even with Leviathan and other skeletons missing, this has been the best MH ever. Can't wait to play World 2 with the continuation of the story and showing more of the 5 legendary dragons (Safi'Jiiva and Shara Ishvalda are two of them) and leviathans such as Agnaktor...

Game theory: the general is actually the player character from MH4U
actually,i think is The Fatalis our character from MH4U,thus explaining the connection to the A-lister,in the sense of our hunter fighting, killing, and using fatalis armor and then one day dissapearing from the A-lister and all the others lives.
