This video was awesome
America: Sweet Home Alabama
Britian: Whole Lotta Love
So...America for the win!
@@WilliamTurk both riffs suck tho.. i would try something more fair... the trooper vs crazy train.
@@sirspongadoodle Crazy Train is overrated as hell it sounds bad compared to The Trooper or Whole Lotta Love.I do think Zeppelin has a lot better riffs than that one though
When Queen came up I thought that he was going to play Bohemia rhapsody but instead he played I want it all
Good. Better riff
Both have amazing riffs and bands. Impossible to pick a side
USA vs Jimmy Page would be just as good of a matchup
Tony Iommi > Jimmy Page when it comes to riffs.
ikr
Yeah, let's forget Ritchie Blackmore and Tony Iommi who are miles better than him...
Jimmy Page lifted half of his iconic riffs from American musicians, especially country songs. See Bron Yr Aur stomp
Jimmy is God...
This video includes all those good songs and some underrated songs from famous bands.
I'm going for the draw. That way we can all leave this video with our pride intact.
As much as I love lots of US riffs, there's one guy that puts UK ahead by himself: Tony Iommi.
Jimmy page too!
Iommi all the way !!!
Iommi put not 1 but 2 legendary riffs in Sabbath bloody Sabbath. It tells you something about iommi and Sabbath that they can do that
Lol Iommi got nada on Page or Blackmore))
The UK won but America was close. I love both sounds. Music in the end is a form of expression. How you experience it is how you'll respond to it.
Both are winners! It's difficult to decide which country has better guitar riff! Both of them are sick
Impossible to truly determine a winner, but UK has an unfair advantage with the riff overlords of Sabbath.
Sabbath, Floyd, Zeppelin, Maiden, Stones.....obviously UK wins 🙌
But US has kick-ass artists too Hendrix, Van Halen, Nugent, Ramones, KISS....
Greenday
@@cmegaming6822 ........no.
Kiss is garbage
@@Cosmefulanito-63-14 i mean they have 1 okay song so i suppose... yeah thats true.
Quella telecaster è bellissima!! 😍🤟🏻
Complimenti sempre bei video!
Best card of the USA : Jimmy Hendrix
Best card of the UK : All
Yes i think you are right. UK have - The beatles, The rolling stones, The who, Black sabbath, Deep purple, Led zeppelin, Queen. What a great bands
NO LIMITS and Judas Priest
@@ronaldmcmorgan9490 Hell yeah
@@aljono.balangue3718 You forgot PinkFloyd
@@aljono.balangue3718 US has Metallica, Megadeth, Aerosmith, Eagles, Tool, Dream Theater, Creedence Clearwater, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Slayer, RATM, Pantera, Dio.
If Slash (he was born in UK) is in USA riffs because of an american band, why Hendrix isn't in UK riffs? His career with the Experience were mostly from UK.
just what i was thinking
Along the watch tower isn't even his song too!😂
Yeah and also Also Mr. John Bonham the drummer of Led Zeppelin who were also english was the drummer he badly wanted in his band at one point.
Maybe it was Izzy Stradlin who came up with that riff, not Slash. He was a part of the band too, and he played rhythm guitar. And of course, he was from USA
Guauuu!!! Impresionante!!! Excelente trabajo!!! Gracias por compartirlo!! Saludos
The beatles, the rolling stones, led zeppelin, queen, the smiths, iron maiden, eric clapton, oasis, pink floyd and a fuck ton more. The UK wins without a shadow of a doubt.
Stevie ray Vaughn
With the the Size of America compared to they uk, you can clearly see who is the better of the two, Less people in the country still manages to Produce, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Queen, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and many many more
@Sam Lim culture is created by Location and population so yes there is a correlation
@Sam Lim there's a pretty strong correlation actually
I think it had a lot to do with ww2. White kids in the UK "got" blues and r&b more than the white kids in America. TRhe UK was fucked after the war. All the greats from the UK were piss poor kids who had nothing. From the Blues and rock and roll we made Rock and Metal. That opened it all up to the kids in America who did their own thing.
The battle will always be equal because there are so many great riffs, great songs and great bands from both regions. And don't forget about the great bands from Canada and Australia and germany
Led Zeppelin has riffs enough to win the battle alone
riff god? Tony Iommi?
Zeppelin vs Metallica
Pretty sure Queen too
69 lmao
nah we got jimi,ozzy,halen, etc
UK won for sure, if u plan on doing another one of these types of videos, I would recommend doing Europe vs North and South America (including Canada)
that riff versus between ramones and the pistols was cool af 🙌🏼🖤
I was waiting for Sunshine of Your Love
Cream is god !
Another Brick in the wall should have been answered by School's Out
The same with his other videos,
I couldn't care less about the comparison, i just love this guy's playing so much i could listen for hours.
I wonder how the two sides can be connected on the same pedal.
My verdict: Strat is omnipresent and allmighty 👊😎🤘
