60s vs 90s now, have a way bigger difference between riffs
nice
Beatles vs RATM
50s vs 70s! The ultimate showdown!
Jimi Hendrix versus Nirvana.
How bout 69s?
Me: *see the video*
Always me: *add some musics to learn on guitar on my list*
You’ve heard every single one of these songs so many times you would’ve already thought of them.
Same brooo HAHAHA
Same here lol
But I add them to my playlist also
I’m always doing this hahha
70s riffs are so legendary, but 80s are so magnificent, it's a hard choice.
Its not hard at al, 70s is best
@@fredrikjelkefors9336 agreed.
I choose both
Both decades are great
The rock almost died in the 80's
70's have Layla
80's have Money for Nothing
Hard choice
XD
80's also has master of puppets
Layla’s a better riff but the 80s in general seemed to have better ones
Layla wins hands down, one of the best riffs ever. Money for nothing is also great though!
Money for Nothing > Layla as far as the riff goes! Both great.
In the 70's there are too many legendary band/ guitarist.......that's unfair.......
I donno there were definitely some big ones in the 80s as well
Emil Forsberg yeah like AC/DC white snake van Halen but 70 s win I think
@@themightysquirrel8136 i was thinking more Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth and so on.
@@EmilForsberg_GRYBO yeah I suppose
@@EmilForsberg_GRYBO yeah Iron Maiden rocks! Metallica always overrated not a big fan
For the next one, how about riffs between two different songs with the same name? Like One by U2 vs. One by Metallica or Photograph by Ringo Starr vs. Photograph by Def Leppard
Featuring photograph by nickel- nevermind
Along the Watchtower, Dylans version against Hendrix’s version. 😊 Having said that, Bob prefer’s Jimi’s to his own
That's a really lame idea!!
like Shot in the Dark, AC/DC vs Ozzy Osbourne, or Live Wire, AC/DC vs Mötley Crüe...
Hysteria by Muse vs Hysteria by Def Leppard
80's riffs are more naughty and heavier but 70's riffs are so iconic
Hmmm I'd say it's the other way around
“80's are more naughty and heavier than 70's”
Black Sabbath entered the chat
I’d say they’re both the same
A lot of 70's riffs are way heavier than glam/hair metal. Now, early death, trash and black metal are another thing entirely
Kudu fuck
The only thing that was better than the guitar playing was the costumes.
what costumes these are my everyday outfits HAHAH
Plot twist: they are actually time travelers from the 70s and 80s
Nice the 70s and 80s are the sound of rock
Mans speaking yoda
i really liked the 80's guitarist, cause its like steven adler playing guitar
Steven Popcorn is so adorable!
Blanka Gulyás yes❤️❤️
@@eleni9644 Duff VodKagan :D
Blanka Gulyás 😂
Haha lol hes old
I was born in 1971 and remember these classic riffs on the local radio station (no, Sirius XM did not exist) growing up as a kid. Then I spent the 80’s rocking out to the guitar heroes of the day...Rhoads, Van Halen, Lynch,etc.,...it was a great time to be alive!! Unfortunately I doubt we will ever see such a time again in the Rock world...I hope I’m wrong.
You were really lucky mate!!
Man I listen to those heroes today wish I was alive when they were at their peak
According to the singer of Rammstein - The only thing I can say is that I don’t want to start a band these days. It’s quite impossible to live off of it.
The record companies don’t give you a chance, like in the old days when they went, ‘Here’s a pile of money - go make a good record.’ We’re never going see bands like Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath again. It’s over”
@@dustdreamer673 yeah sad but it's TRUE your right 😔
yes you are wrong
80s Danilo (aka Vince Neil)
70s have the best riffs and songs for me! Just too many legends being born
next time do battle of 90's and 2000's
90s obvious winner
Thunderstruck incoming
R u kidding right ? Lol
Hyper Hyper?!
90s all the way
5:13 “I’m about to end this mans whole career”
Lol
I love that Danilo always shakes his head at himself when they play a riff
I feel like you shoulda had Sheer Heart Attack or Stone Cold Crazy
Pepsi Doggo agreed
70s riffs laid the foundations for 80s riffs
I would have included "Nothin' but a Good Time" By Poison for the 80's
All you need is Tony Iommi to win a riff battle
Randy Rhoads and George Lynch.
Tony Iommi and Ritchie Blackmore
Jimmy fn Page
Yesssss Georgeeeeee
Or Jimmy Page
Great job Danilo! You're playing is very accurate, clear and thoughtful! Rock on!
Great work. I’m an 80s kid but I think what we can conclude is that both decades produced some awesome riffs.
One of the best riff videos I've ever seen in UA-cam! Congrats Mr. Vicari!!!
80's was a pretty heavy era.
The only song that i learned from this video es Girls Girls Girls of Mötley Crüe, Excellent work Danilo 😎🎸
Do the beatles vs the rolling stones riffs
Beatles eeeaaassy
It’s already been done but the video sucked so yes please do it again!
The Rolling Stones for the riffs!
Honestly I prefer the stones but the beatles were undeniably much more influential.
@@big_bicep_bill7594 nice opinion G!
Well done. That was fun to hear and watch.. great video!
Love the video! Always entertaining and always looking forward to new ones that you make! Thanks again
70's music more iconic
80's costumes more iconic
Hard to stay biased when there are a lot of bands that i love in the 70s especially Thin Lizzy
Phil lynott was something else
Yeah Thin Lizzy and UFO
Thin Lizzy are so underrated
Lynyrd skynyrd, queen, Aerosmith, black sabbath, Beatles, rolling stones, deep purple, eagles, led zeppelin, kiss, AC/DC, the who, the ramones and a lot more. I love the 70s. Also can u recommend some thin lizzy songs pls 😊
@@ashishmeshram5057
Thin Lizzy songs:
Dont believe a word
Thunder and lightning
Waiting for an alibi
Bad reputation
Boys are back in town
Jailbreak
Black rose
I'm still in love with you
Cold sweat
Wild one
Renegade
Dancing in the moonlighy
I'm missing a load of good ones but that's not a bad start!
video magnifico come sempre dani!!!
Awesome video Danilo! Very funny and full of sick riffs!
AC/DC is AC/DC, they have no era, they’re timeless
they have no era cuz every song sounds the same
@@arbazann And they rock 😼😼
@@arbazann AC/DC is the cheese burger of rock, You always get the same ingredients but does it taste good?
If you have fan vision bout Ac Dc, so yeah, you have a point, Ac Dc is Timeless, but if you look in critical vision you'll see that they're just a regular band, they don't change in the movement, in fact their songs sounds all the same, it's kinda awkward and cringeworthy
@@sniffinglue4542 did my man just call acdc songs awkward and cringe?
i think jimi hendrix would have done a great job in the 70s and 80s...
Love this videos🤘🏻
They're all awesome, give you ideas to learn new songs, introduce new products and are funny. Well done.
70s wins, that was the era for classic rock.
It was the era for EVERY genre.
Depends on your taste, I prefer 80s metal over classic rock any day
@@JT-gm4fk same
Bruh 80s were so much better tf
@@JT-gm4fk I prefer both. I often listen and play on guitar and drums Accept, Ария, Judas Priest, or Alice Cooper, Mötley Crüe, but also Beatles, Rolling Stones, Uriah Heep
Difícil decisión!!! Las dos décadas son excelentes!
This is really Epic!!!
Top Riffs Bro!
Surprised you put Still here considering it got one of your other videos blocked
I know, I tried to keep it really short and hoped for the best, but I won't claim victory here... I just love that riff so much 😂
@@DaniloVicari 😂😂😂 You are right though, incredible riff.
For me it's heresy choose one side since they're all awesome and legendary riffs
Video Top! Grande Danilo!
love those battles!
anyone else get extremely pumped when he played Back In Black?
70s every day of the week and twice on a Sunday. Easy decision!!!
Would be awesome to see how you create your tracks! Keep on rockin‘ 🤘🏼
This was fun. Thanks.
That riffs kicks harder than my dad
That wig tho
Just found this channel.
This is great 👍
Let’s just be grateful we had the 70s and 80s legends.
From the 60s to the 80s three legendary decades of music.
I imagine in a few hundred years these songs will still be classics such as what what Mozart and Bach are today.
70's could've won if he pulled out riffs from Van Halen selt titled, the guy was ahead of his time.
Hell, of he pulled out anything by Randy Holden era Blue Cheer, Ram Jam's Black Betty, Kansas, or any early Genesis, or Rush, 70s would have dominated.
2:08 original comment about you played the lick, that everybody laughs at
Fun video, man!
Cool video, thank you for sharing this.
I like how he's got a hair metal hair but plays master of puppets and back in black
I don’t know 🤔 about anybody else but, I think 💭 it’s a tie. Also, I would love to see more Dire Straits.
Well done man 👍🏻
Very nice bro!!!
Why has 70s dude got his pants open? I know 70s were about free love but damn, that's a bit much.
Believe me or not, I was so focused on playing, recording, shooting, changing clothes and so on that I forgot to zip them when I put them on again 😂 My bad!!
@@DaniloVicari ha! Almost, almost distracted me from your superb playing! Great video as always 👍
70s for life🤘🎸
Maaaaaan! Great video, I really enjoyed it! Btw, amazing guitar tone on EVERY riff, how did you do that?
Awesome dude
Thank you!🤘🏻
Man... That is a tough choice. 70s I guess
1970's wins as they have already proved the test of time!
it's pretty great how AC/DC bridges the gap between 70s-80s and again with the 80s-90s
Great choice of songs! I’m a child of the 80’s but definitely the 70’s is for me the best decade for music. Nice job.
Debiste incluir el riff de "Let me roll it" De Paul McCartney y Wings del 73'
Let's be honest, 70s could beat any decade just with Led Zeppelin
Gandalf the White Or Black Sabbath
@@prometheustv6558 Personally I prefer Zep but you may be right... anyway 70s are unbeatable
@@matteobenvestito9537 you forgot about deep purple?
@Mucca Terraformante Yup... and Jimmy is the king of riffs
And Ted Nugent
This is defintly need a part 2
Ending with Let There Be Rock is not even fair, but great response right back with Back in Black. Almost set up a vid for Bon era vs. Brian era. Great vid
Definitely prefer the 70's riffs (in this video and in general) but Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, GNR, and Metallica have some sick riffs
You should have used stranglehold and Walk this way on 70s
Great video
Thanks mate!
Love you guys 👏👏👏
I WAS WAITING FOR BLACK SABBATH VS OZZY OSBOURNE
70’s win over any decade in music sorry...
I usually listen to more thrash metal, I don't listen to much classic rock or hard rock, so it's more 80s for me
60s?
In your opinion
no
@@fingalh That’s cool tho
I love this series
Both decades were epic! Least from what I still remember!! 🤟🤟🤟
70's ROCK
The 70s is the best music decade of all times the 80s was good but not as good
Beautifull sounds!!! Good excellent tones, love the recreations of Brown sugar and police songs
Perfect 80's hair. Loved it man!
No Smoke on the water???
Every guitarist played it.
Next Time 60s VS 90s
Aniway 70s 🤟 (80s too)
I really appreciate you paying homage to our guitar forerunners.
You are my biggest inspiration
Lol ya are the first
Thanks mate, I appreciate it!
I PERSONALY PREFER 80's Riffs
And Metallica and AC/DC
If you count 1965-1975 as a decade, nothing would come close. More genres and talent spawned in those revolutionary years than can be comprehended.
Bel video Danilo , due decenni che hanno sfornato grandi pezzi storici e unici. Comunque il biondo è simpaticissimo 😂
Late 60s and 70s were the high water mark for rock music, not that a lot of 80s music wasn't great. Van Halen and Randy Rhoads and Guns n' Roses' first album were all fantastic.
The two best decades of music. 🤘🏼
2 thumbs up for the energy you Rock!
Great riffs in this video
70s riffs
Please give me a heart :'3 you are my inspiration.

Why do I have a feeling that this is about to turn into Mathew Scar's Brian May vs Slash video(which I suggest watching. There's a little humor in there as well. Lol).
Good vid!
Thanks mate!
