It allowed me to look at things differently, it now resonates with me, and my core focus for now is me, my own life and my own happiness. Since my divorce last year, I struggled to get back up, but now I'm stronger than ever and my faith in God also took a big knock, but now I'm exactly where I need to be, and your book greatly contributed to my recovery process. That's the right frame of mind! "Not compatible" tell her what that means to you, "You're not good enough for me!" and really feel that way because she is trying to change you to suit her needs and she won't care for your needs!
This literally happened to me. She wanted me to join her friends and do her activities. I refused as I have my own shit to do. She then said we are not compatible and doesn’t see a future. I said ok, no problem and that was that.
I've used this line before and just actually meant it. Some people really are just not compatible. Sometimes you don't need to even read into it more than what it is. Also, if someone says this to you after a few dates or whatever - I would applaud their honesty. Some people will string you along for years if they could. Trust me...you definitely don't want that.
Me too..told her ii could have pursued her but I'd be doing it for physical reasons only. Think I gave a girl I really liked the ick after 4 weeks due to overinvesting in her too early. Loved her personality, bedded her quite quickly after 2 dates. I was Talking about taking her away/spending on her for her birthday, while she was still keeping things casual, laid back and seemed to be in a money saving mode a lot of the time. Think I realised the mistake too late.. Within 4 days of talking about plans I had for her birthday..she changed, backed off then got the "don't think we're compatible" message.
I think it also comes down to polarity too. If the woman is very feminine but the guy isn't masculine enough then she will feel you aren't compatible because the relationship energy and dynamic is wrong.

When fed the "not compatible" line, odds are that she's monkeybranched to a new mark. There's no reason to say anything else but OK, and immediately leave/show her the door. There's just no time for nonsense in life.
Translation: "I am no longer (feeling) compatible with the amount of wealth you possess." / "I am more compatible with a newfound guy's assets." The man was as such never used to calculate the compatibility with in the first place.

100% nailed it Rich. Few months ago a woman I was interested in and met up with a couple times gave me this line in some form. I believe her words were "we're just not a good fit", and credit where it's due she spilled the beans and stated there was no spark between us. To add insult to injury she fed me the LJBF speech. Seeing how she already had thousands of mainly male friends, I declined stating she already had enough guy friends and wished her well.
Been there, done that. The good news is that learned after the first (and only) time this happened. She was a bona fide centrefold worthy 10. This woman freely admitted she was offered her first office job because of her looks. She admitted she had no qualifications, or experience. She even was told by the receptionist that they were not hiring, but the big boss just happened to be the reception area, and he said "I think we can find something for you." And thus she was hired. I do have an ounce of pity for the extremely attractive women. They have been taught they only have to show up. This works until their looks fade.

Hey Rich. My buddy DB did everything his first wife wanted him to do for her. He helped her get divorced by using his Lawyer sister to work out the details. He moved from his house to a house that his wife wanted. Got a Dog when he did not want one. He was Home on time and paid the Bills and went through adoption process. I had to be a Character witness for the adoption. She did get pregnant and had two kids one in 2005/07. When thier second child a son was 8 months old in 2008. She said to DB that she wanted out of the marriage all the feelings were gone/she was taking anti depression meds. She has another guy right away. They had twins in 2009 and she broke up with that guy. So if DB is husband #2. As of this writing. Since 2003 when she met DB and got him to marry her in 2004. Then she is leaving guy # 6. The only way she can rope new men in is to shroud her romantic history. Every man has to be very discerning over the woman that he dates/gets pregnant/marry. Its way ok to be single if that is what awaits us.

He had the kids every weekend. They have to sleep in the same room. His ex had two other kids in 2009 twins. So she has 4 kids from two different fathers and she still gets Men to put her up and she sort of does not want to work. She is not ugly, but not a major beauty queen. Great points. I’ll only add that “not compatible” can be alleged years into a relationship for all the same reasons you addressed. I agree that men should work on themselves but only for their own sakes. Not for the sake of increasing their perceived market value with women. It’s important to truly not care what others think about you unless there’s a tangible reason why it should be important. Even in job interviews, I believe that being yourself is the best long term benefit to your career. Pick the employer most likely to appreciate you. Same goes for women. I’m wondering where all the laid back hippie chicks went. Something has seriously shifted in recent years. It’s all about money and keeping up with other people - a lack of self awareness and the confidence that comes from that.
As a woman I've used this line to let a man down gently if I don't want to see him anymore. It's not nice being rejected but it's part of life and it would be much more rude to tell a guy to f off. Sometimes people don't want to go on another date or be with that person and that's fine.

It’s one thing to have a girl swooning over you and having that “burning desire”, but the real test is finding out whether or not she wants you for YOU. So I broke off with her. It was tough for both of us, but the right thing to do. Soon after she married an engineer. Then she became a mom to three. As of a few yrs ago she became a gram. I wish her the best of everything. She's one of the good ones. To repeat, most of the women I met after her were 'meh.' Only one came close to matching her dedication/loyalty, and we are still married since the mid 90s.
It sure would be nice if both men and women could cut one another a little slack. I was always taught that If I'm not interested in someone, It's better to be honest and not go out. It's not a good thing to lead someone along and this is the reason that I don't understand why some men get really angry when girls are honest. I totally understand that it is a bummer to be rejected. However, why would you want some girl to go out with you if she's just using you for a free dinner or something? If she isn't interested, then she's not the girl for you. Right? I can remember being interested in a guy once in college, but I knew I didn't have the time to date, so I did nothing and life still went on. When I was in college I had no time to date because I had to work 30 hours a week to pay for it as I grew up in a very poor family. I accepted the fact that I wasn't going to have a social life for several years. I rarely dated and when I did so, It was to have a date for a social occasion like a wedding or something. I actually think that "I'm not ready for a relationship" is sort of a polite. I could be 100% true or it could be a nicer way of saying she's not interested. I don't think it's good to decline in a rude way. After all, if someone took the time to approach me and ask to spend some time with me, that's actually a compliment. This literally happened to me. She wanted me to join her friends and do her activities. I refused as I have my own shit to do. She then said we are not compatible and doesn’t see a future. I said ok, no problem and that was that.
I've used this line before and just actually meant it. Some people really are just not compatible. Sometimes you don't need to even read into it more than what it is. Also, if someone says this to you after a few dates or whatever - I would applaud their honesty. Some people will string you along for years if they could. Trust me...you definitely don't want that.

Been there, done that. The good news is that learned after the first (and only) time this happened. She was a bona fide centrefold worthy 10. This woman freely admitted she was offered her first office job because of her looks. She admitted she had no qualifications, or experience. She even was told by the receptionist that they were not hiring, but the big boss just happened to be the reception area, and he said "I think we can find something for you." And thus she was hired. Hey Rich. My buddy DB did everything his first wife wanted him to do for her. He helped her get divorced by using his Lawyer sister to work out the details. He moved from his house to a house that his wife wanted. Got a Dog when he did not want one. He was Home on time and paid the Bills and went through adoption process. I had to be a Character witness for the adoption. She did get pregnant and had two kids one in 2005/07. When thier second child a son was 8 months old in 2008. She said to DB that she wanted out of the marriage all the feelings were gone/she was taking anti depression meds. She has another guy right away. They had twins in 2009 and she broke up with that guy. So if DB is husband #2. As of this writing. Since 2003 when she met DB and got him to marry her in 2004. Then she is leaving guy # 6. The only way she can rope new men in is to shroud her romantic history.
Every man has to be very discerning over the woman that he dates/gets pregnant/marry. Its way ok to be single if that is what awaits us.

I agree that men should work on themselves but only for their own sakes. Not for the sake of increasing their perceived market value with women. It’s important to truly not care what others think about you unless there’s a tangible reason why it should be important. Even in job interviews, I believe that being yourself is the best long term benefit to your career. Pick the employer most likely to appreciate you. Same goes for women. I can remember being interested in a guy once in college, but I knew I didn't have the time to date, so I did nothing and life still went on. When I was in college I had no time to date because I had to work 30 hours a week to pay for it as I grew up in a very poor family. I accepted the fact that I wasn't going to have a social life for several years. I rarely dated and when I did so, It was to have a date for a social occasion like a wedding or something. I actually think that "I'm not ready for a relationship" is sort of a polite. I could be 100% true or it could be a nicer way of saying she's not interested. I don't think it's good to decline in a rude way. After all, if someone took the time to approach me and ask to spend some time with me, that's actually a compliment. What a shame that men and women can become so reactive to honesty. It's the men and women with ridiculous expectations and dishonesty that should be called out.
