I used to be a big Harry Potter fan. I watched all the movies and read the books. I was into anything magic based. Sabrina the teenage witch from the 90s was what fostered that curiosity for magic. Which led me to start doing my own magic after a really bad breakup. When I became saved for the first real time in my life on my own. I knew it was time to walk away from all of it. Jesus showed me demons while I slept and had witches visiting my dreams. I kept trying to find loopholes to continue in my folly because I was foolish like scripture says. There are no loopholes what's good is good and what's for the devil leave it there. I am saved and walk a narrow path and work on warning my children from the very things I was delivered from. The path to hell is a slippery slope and the little things can lead us there. I thank Jesus that he opened my eyes and showed me who I was worshipping. I'll never fall for the tricks of the enemy ever again. I am covered by the blood of Jesus. In Jesus name 🙏

I was into magic also and was baptized and filled with the holy spirit after I was set free from the demons. If you can get set free and baptized and filled with the holy spirit ❤ praying for strength to you through Jesus christ ❤
Thank you for sharing. My history was very similar. I was born again in my 40’s and cried because I wasted so many years worshiping the wrong god. God bless you. I now pray for my adult children because I didn’t teach them when they were young.
An update on my daughter Lyndsay. She has just passed the 12 months mark with no sign of recurrence of her aggressive breast cancer. She didn’t continue the chemo as it made her so very ill and is trusting in God for her healing. We give God all the praise, honour and glory. We serve an awesome God who is more than worthy to be praised. I believe all the prayers have helped her so much and hoped you would pray for her complete healing from this evil disease. They can only tell her year by year how she is doing unless something comes up in between. Thank you so much. .

The same caution toward the Harry Potter books should also be used with almost all video games. Even innocent looking games targeted toward children can have undertones that are less than wholesome. I grew up playing Dungeons and Dragons, and many video games that were based on it. The use of magic and sorcery are always front and center in those games.

Yes if I hadn’t read the Bible , I would be still caught up in New Age , Occult and anything contrary to Jesus. It was my pride of considering myself an open minded person that lead me to giving the Bible a chance since I was seeking for answers in the alternative…. why not be fair and investigate all things Spiritual . So I can say today I am so grateful to have found The Truth in the Bible and freedom from Satanic doctrines. Plus I think somewhere deep down inside me I always knew Jesus is the Way , Truth and Life .., the only Way to the Father is through Jesus and the only trustworthy guidance and answers is in his Word … The Bible 🙏🙏🙏

I have absolutely no withdrawal symptoms from the evil I used to embrace as entertainment. I want to make my father and my Savior happy, that's what I live for now. My daughter is 33 now and when the HP books came out, she did indeed devour them. A few years ago we burned them up among other things we burned and renounced. The HP books opened a door to new age, witchcraft and eventually occult rituals.

This was a great video! As a Christian and a former Harry Potter reader my opinion is this: It's a great book technically. I wont deny that J.K Rowling is a talented author. I don't see the problem in showing enemies doing evil things (like resurrecting demonic power mentioned in 7:55 ). As long as evil is shown in evil light, I have no problem. The real problem comes when those evil things are shown in a good light instead. When sorcery and witchcraft is described to be something desirable, whimsical and attractive. That's really bad in my opinion.

im someone that tried to believe. but nothing ever happened. i prayed, i talked to god. i gave it a chance and nothing happened. then you take a look around the world and learn facts like 10,000 children starve to death every day.......and god if he exists allows this to go on. he either doesnt exist, has no power or is a complete maniac.

Even though I have been a Seventh-Day Adventist since I was a kid, I have been through a lot of pain. I begged and pleaded God for years to help. I tried to walk away, but would always feel a tug to come back. Now I understand. This is Satan's proving ground. He wants to prove that God is controlling and that, if humans or other beings have the ability to make their own decisions, they will renounce God. God allows these things to happen so that we can prove that, given the freedom, even through all this pain, we will still follow the Lord and know that our reward in heaven trumps any pain or pleasure in this earth. Satan is evil, will destroy as much as he can, and will take as many with him as he can. He knows his efforts are useless. He knows he will ultimately be destroyed. Think of a miserable person who does nothing but make others miserable to make themselves feel better. Also, this pain and suffering is a direct or indirect result of our own terrible choices. "The wages of sin is death." But just remember, the end is VERY near. Come back to God, give Him your heart. Pray, listen and read. I have had more revealed to me now in the last 5 months than all the previous years of my life as a struggling Christian. I came back to God with a fire in my heart🔥❤. (No, not heartburn❤🔥🤣.)

He gives us freedom but human nature tend to abuse it.
The fault lies with corrupt nature of man, to those who neglect their responsibilities as parents and to those who squander money instead of feeding it to people who really needed it.
How about we stop blaming it all to God, instead do something for these children. We can donate and even volunteer in feeding programs.

I have been drawing closer to the Word, and in doing so found myself losing interest in this series. Though for as imaginative and emotional as the Harry Potter series can be, I grew out of it overtime when I started taking my sense of Theology more seriously.
I'm not going to slam anyone who loves the series, because I was on the same boat too.
Though of course, we can't even remotely advocate for the teaching of "Do as though wilt".

I was just walking out of church when I thought to myself why all the fuss ,everyone loves the magic in books and movies .i clearly heared in my spirit from god saying . This is how the devil draws people in .deception . I then understood how satan lures people in . Light at first .calling evil good and good evil

You are spot on, Joe. I was once confused by the Bible, viewing it as a collection of contradictions and impossible history. None of it made sense.....until i started a deep dive into the Scriptures. And the more I read it, the more it made sense. That is our charge; what the Lord requires of us. Just read the Bible

Amen! When I read it for the first time with the Holy Spirit.... it was a whole new book that actually made more sense to me than anything I've ever read before and I couldn't put it down. I would rather read it over Netflix. I told my sister who is still an unbeliever, "You have to read it, like what it actually says.. because even if you "know what it says" you don't know what it says at all....." Please pray she listens and picks it up soon and reads it.

I’m saved and can still enjoy the themes in Harry Potter. I know it’s a just a movie and the effects are cool. Doesn’t mean I’m worshiping the occult. But if Harry Potter convicts you and feel it could potentially lead you astray than I understand why you would turn from it.

I promise my grandmother told me years ago when the movie 1st came out she told me, don't watch them movies or read them books. And I never watched or read any of the Harry Potter books. I made sure I told my kids the same.
I still don’t understand why we shouldn’t read the books or watch the movies. They aren’t even bad and as long as you don’t see it as reality you should be fine.

Satan worshippers have "faith" in that kind of stuff, and their god. They "walk" in the Kingdom of Darkness. Satan is the god of this world and he has many followers. Which Kingdom do you walk in?

I determined my opinion years ago while at library checkout. A little girl approx 3 was ahead of me with her dad. They were checking out harry potter book. I rarely comment on your videos, but I've liked many of them. I was raised by my Christian grandparents, walked away in my 20s, returned to Christ in my 30s, and am married to a wonderful woman who's a prayer warrior. When the Harry Potter movies were coming out, even as a sinner at the time, I knew they were of Satan. Raise a child up in the way they should go and when they are old, they will not depart far from it.

I’m glad it never peak my interest to read it or see the film and I truly didn’t know what it was all until this guy spoke about it. Now I feel blessed that I wasn’t interested.
When the books were first released I was practicing witchcraft and bought the first book for my young daughter . I started to read it and realised that it had real incantations . I never wanted to introduce the occult to children and threw it away . When I was saved I was surprised to see that a very strong Christian friend of mine had the series of the books . I have told many Christians about the incantations and spells being read by their children and some are surprised
You have discernment in that area now. What God saves us from is our most powerful witness to others now. WWJD would Jesus watch that stuff? not even a serious question.

My daughter's elementary school starts their classes with mindfulness and yoga poses ... saying they are just relaxing the body and getting ready to learn. I think it's wrong I think the poses are worship poses to the gods of Buddhism or Hinduism....what's your opinion?? Crazy thing is, not long ago, I was a major Harry Potter fan. But since last year, when I got saved, I've not watched any of the Harry potter movies. How crazy is that. I made it a point to read the Bible cover to cover after my conversion to Holy Orthodoxy. I read 10 pages a day until I was done. It was one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life!
For the past few years, I have read the whole Bible each year. This year, I am finding it really exciting to read NKJV, KJV, NLT, ESV and NIV to compare the translations. Everyone should be reading the whole Bible each year, for the new data you can get each time you read it.

growing up when harry potter just started to get popular and everyone was into it. i always wanted to watch the movies or try the books because everyone would talk about it at school. A little time down the line when they started to have the movie marathons on tv i started to gravitate towards it again…when i finally was gonna get my chance to watch it my parents would tell me to cut it off because it was showcasing witchcraft and sorcery being the younger me of course i didn’t understand and thought my parents were just being harsh and judgmental but now that i’m older im glad i never watched any of the movies or read the books growing up
You are not missing much most of the movies are actually quite boring and overrated. It wouldn't surprise if jk Rowling made a deal with Satan to get the grosses up on them

And I am more than secure, knowing God is in existence.
But yes Harry Potter is full of the witchcraft world and the gnostic freemasonic narrative or physical world that battles itself. Should we avoid the books? Well not now since everyone has most likely already seen the movies? Just saying.
Meaning the war between angels and demons and humans can be exposed by watching the movies. They have the mark of the beast on their arms ( voldemorts serpent marking tattoo). The one they leave out is actually God the Trinity. Yet they mentioned and showed ghosts (spirits). Very odd and also they showed good vs evil many times.
.. Rowling also portray the supernatural world wherein an alternate portal-bound universe exists and their deeds of witchcraft are done in. Meaning the deeds of the enemy (witches and warlocks) are done in secrecy away from the eyes of commoners, yet somehow they contact the other supernatural realm. 🤫 And, the effects are shown in the physical world where people(common non witches, muggles? ) are unaware that evil deeds are done, yet the world grows more and more evil around them.
Most channels of youtube are run by witchcraft workers.

This is beautifully made. There are some issues regarding its accessibility to non-Christians, though:
1. You seem to equate God with the Bible. That is, you use Daniel Radcliffe talking about God and the afterlife, as an analogy about the Bible. Radcliffe didn't talk about the Bible; he was talking about God and the afterlife. As a Christian I know what you mean to say but only because I am aware of the doctrine that the Bible is the Word of God, and I accept that premise. An atheist might not be aware of that doctrine and even if they were, would probably not accept the premise. That is, an atheist wouldn't automatically associate God so inextricably with the Bible - they would have no reason to.
2. You said that as a direct result of choosing to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, God will say 'Well done, good and faithful servant'. There is another very important step missing that the Christian already knows is there, but its absence to an atheist (who wouldn't know or assume it was there) would make the whole idea sound strange. It is this. Between accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour now, and throne of Judgment at the end of the age, you are going to live a life of one whose governor and security is Jesus. As a result, you are going to find yourself working to help Jesus and the people who love him - in other words, 'serving' them. A servant is a person who serves. It only makes sense for God to say 'Well done good and faithful servant' if the person has actually been a servant. If you cut out the 'life after accepting Jesus' stage from your presentation you risk making 'I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour' sound like a sort of 'password' to get a ticket to heaven. I know that this isn't what you had wanted to say, and I know that you perhaps weren't aware of how much 'process' you were abbreviating, but on the surface, with no extra contextual knowledge taken into account, it does sound like that.
