Yeah, I'm 44 and although a little younger than you I count myself blessed to have grown up in the 80's and 90's. Ours was the last of the don't come home before dark generation. The ones who had no knee pads or helmets for skateboarding and bike riding. When I was younger I was jealous of the ones growing up in this tech savvy world, but now I realize being the last gen before the Internet blew up was a blessing. Happy belated birthday btw.

It's terrifying to imagine being a tomboy in this day and age. If this existed when I was a child in the 2000's, it's scary to know that adults would encourage me to transition because I was a tomboy. Truly sickening and terrifying.

I was a tomboy and I was making a point that in our current culture people are putting an emphasis on gender way too early when it comes to children. I was saying I’ve seen far too many children being encouraged by parents to question their gender at way too young an age just because they don’t fit their gender specific likes and dislikes. I liked being a tomboy and never even thought about my gender for a second, I was just me, a girl that like to catch frogs and get dirty.

There is no way that clip wasn't staged/purposefully absurb. There are a lot of actually really great actors (and editors) who do this satirically for a lot of views, if their content is funny or crazy enough. Yes, I know there are a lot of #wokeclips that are authentic out there, and I sincerely hope those folks get some genuine help, but I am convinced a good portion of these clips are staged by various largely-unknown *talented* UA-camrs and film creators.

The videos reminded me of how not to act when interviewers ask the difficult questions. Now, from watching your UA-cam videos, I am learning how stay stay mentally grounded and poker-faced when I interact with idiots.
Being 70 years old I can remember a time when people, who exhibited this form of behavior, would be institutionalized and treated for their bizarre actions. But sadly that no longer occurs. These people need professional help.
Well...yeah...but!! I remember when being able to perfectly reproduce wild animal calls was considered impressive by most people. I know people who can do this. It's chilling how accurate they are. If you ever get to see these hunters in the country doing this you'll see what I mean. My hubby was a hunter. He can still figure out the number in a pack by just listening to them move around. If he gets them howling, he can tell how many males. He was a dairy farmer growing up. If he practices a bit, he can usually reproduce cow noises so accurate that it fools the cows.

I'm old enough to remember when teachers weren't allowed to openly express and practice their personal Christian beliefs in school, or anywhere, because it was "imposing our morals" on others and supposedly morality was relative. @@reubenmanzo2054 Technically, the first amendment does not really enforce a blanket separation, per se, but it does say "make no laws to regulate an establishment of religion" and guarantees the freedom of religious expression. I know it's always understood to be " separation" but it seems what the founding fathers were really saying was " religious people cannot be told by the government how to exercise and practice their own religion" As the guiding concept of our government as it was first founded was the regulation of the government by the people in order to protect the people from the (tyrannical overreach of the) government. Which as We know, was a unique system in the first of its kind in the world.
Oddly, not that I advocate it in the least, it does not seem to indicate that the state could not assume certain attributes of religion. In God We Trust goes back a ways, and the Congress had always had a clergyman invoke a prayer before a session of Congress. Which is as it should be.
When the founding fathers talked about freedom of religion, and the freedom of from religious persecution, they were really intending to protect the Quakers and the Mennonites, and what was called the Brethren from any persecution from Catholics or Protestants, because at the time they were being persecuted. But at no time did the founding fathers ever mean, that devil worship was protected under the Constitution! Anyone that stood up in front of the Continental Congress and tried to advocate for devil worship would have been immediately struck down censored and ostracized.
