- Installation Instructions for the RHOX Deluxe Turn Signal Kit (LGT-T3) on a a Yamaha Drive2 with the LGT-401L light kit previously installed.
Dan installs the turn signal (LGT-132A with LGT-590 Relay) , turn signal column cover (LGT-107A), and horn (ACC-0004 with LGT-147 Horn Harness). - Авто та транспорт
This was very helpful!! I will have to try this on my golf cart!!
Thanks! Let us know if you have any questions along the way.
Is the LGT-T3 kit compatible with the LGT-307L headlights?
Can you control the accent lights independently from the turn signal switch? There is a single wire plug in the
LGT-401L wire harness that says accent light control from turn signal switch but I see no where to plug this into the LGT-132A wire harness.
This turn signal does not control the accent lights separately. You would need the LGT-T4 or T5.
I have a 2018 Yamaha drive2 cart that has a Rhox LGT-401L light kit installed. I would like to add the LGT-132A turn signal kit to it. This cart already has a horn and and accessory plugs so I don’t really want to buy the LGT-T3 kit. I see in the Rhox garage videos they talk about a LGT-590 jumper to replace the on/off switch, is this required? I do not see it listed anywhere on your site to order this part number.
You can buy the LGT-132A separately from the LGT-T3 kit. You will have to replace the push-pull switch with LGT-590. You will also need the LGT-147 horn harness. If you do not have a column cover, you will need LGT-107A. This will cover the turn signal wire running down the column. Please call your dealer to order the items not listed on the website. They will be able to get them for you.
Just had an upgraded light kit installed on a Yamaha UMAX 2+2 and the lights come on even when the key is off and out of the ignition is the normal on Yamaha's?
I'm not familiar with how their harness works. If you are using the key switch to power the lights, you could have hooked the light kit to the always on terminal of the key switch. If you need a wiring diagram, you can check out this website. Just go through and find your year and model.

If you hooked the light kit directly to the batteries and the key switch is out of the equation, the lights can turn on because they are still getting power.
If you have installed the T3 turn signal from RHOX, the turn signal will control the ON/OFF functions of the lights. Any other ON/OFF switch (push pull, key-switch etc.) will compete.
I have a 2021 Drive 2 EFI. It has LED lights but no turn signals. I would like to add turn signals and side mirrors with turn signal indicators. I already have a horn. Do you have a kit that will provide what I need to do this?
Our turn signals are designed for RHOX plug and play wire harnesses and light kits but can also be hardwired into another brand's light kit. We can provide a wiring diagram of the turn signal harness upon request. Keep in mind, all features on the turn signal may not be applicable with a different brand's lights (i.e. high/low beams). The T3 also includes an ON/OFF switch for the lights so the standard push pull switch will not be used.
For the mirrors, as long as your headlights are capable of a turn signal function, you should be able to wire the mirrors into the circuit easily.
Both of these items can be purchased from your RHOX dealer.
I have a 2018 Yamaha DR218EFI with lights and horn already installed. Which of these kits do I need to use to install the turn signals.
Any of our turn signal packages should work with your existing light kit as long as your light kit is capable of having turn signal functionality.
If you have our plug and play wire harness, you can plug the turn signal directly into it. If you do not have a RHOX plug and play wire harness, you will more than likely have to hardwire the turn signal into the harness.
If the lights and harness are not RHOX, you will not have high/low beam functionality with this turn signal or the LGT-180 (T4). The LGT-T1 and LGT-T2 turn signal packages do not include this feature.
Would the LGT -T3 kit also work with a LGT 398 light kit? Thanks, Rob
The LGT-398 is a basic wire harness. You will need to use a plug and play wire harness if you would like to install accessories like the T3. The LGT-398 only includes connections for head/taillights and batteries.
Do you have to have the Rhox brand light kit for the turn signal
You can hard wire this turn signal into other brands of light kits but we cannot guarantee all the features will work with someone else's lights. The high/low beam feature will not work with someone else's headlights.
Have a link to where to buy this?

Wayne, this is the product link. You can purchase it through any RHOX authorized dealer. You can also look up the turn signal by part number LGT-132. The T3 is a package that includes the horn and a 12V dual USB outlet.
I have a 2020 Yamaha Drive 2 DC with Rhox LGT-401L Headlights and taillights already installed. I would like to add Turn signals and Brake lights. If I add LGT-T3 (LGT-132A) Deluxe Turn Signal Kit and LGT-B14 Brake light kit will I need any additional Harness' or a Voltage Reducer? Also I would like to add a Horn but not sure which Rhox horn to select. I am running Stock Trojan Batteries with Navitas 440A controller. Also, will I need a Voltage Reducer? Please help.
You shouldn't need an additional harness as those accessories will plug directly into the LGT-401L's plug and play harness. The turn signal will only be able to withstand 12V. We would recommend either a reducer or hooking the system up to a 12V battery.
@@GolfCartInstructions The LGT-401L lights and taillights are currently working, will I need to add a reducer for the turn and brake lights? I'm not sure what you mean by 'the system'.
@@joshuarbarber3869 Yes, you will need to either add a reducer or hook the light kit and accessories to a 12V source, typically one battery
I have a 2016 Yamaha YDREX6 (G29 from what I am told) that has the RHOX Deluxe turn signal kit, high beam headlights, etc. The kit was already installed when i bought the cart. Do the taillights not include brake lights nor turn signals? Front turn signals work great, rear taillights work but do not get brighter when braking and do not flash when the turn signal is on. Is there another kit i need to buy?
Are the taillights RHOX? Is the harness RHOX? Do you have a brake switch installed and if so, which one?
@@GolfCartInstructions the taillights are RHOX and the harness is RHOX. I am not sure if the brake switch is installed. Do you have a link to the brake switch controller so I can see what it looks like and confirm it is installed?
@@adamzierenberg The brake switches we carry for the drive are the LGT-138, LGT-B12 and LGT-B13. You can look these up at www.rhox.com to see the photos and details.
@@GolfCartInstructions thank you for the excellent customer service and prompt responses!
@@adamzierenberg You're welcome!
My harness doesn't seem to have another connector for the horn , and the video doesn't show where he e plugs it in. Every connector has something plugged into it. What am I missing ?
Are you installing it into a RHOX brand plug and play light kit harness?
@@GolfCartInstructions yes it is . Everything else plugged in perfectly and is working. I did buy the cart used and the harness was already installed with basic lighting on a push pull switch. I upgraded to the deluxe light kit with blinkers , horn , etc. and installed brake light switch. Only issue is the horn
@@disalvofamily231 Do you know the part number of the harness installed?
@@GolfCartInstructions fixed it myself. The wire diagram said the green and white wire goes to horn. Hardwired it direct to the horn. Boom done !
@@disalvofamily231 Good! I was going to send you the wiring diagram once I figured out which harness you had :)
I have been extremely impressed with RHOX products and their online tutorials however I must say, whoever designed the mounting assembly for the control box had no idea what they were doing. There is absolutely zero clearance for the cable coming off the back of it... You cannot bend it enough to clear the steering column. I am going to have to fabricate some type of spacer to get it away from the column so the harness can clear.
Hi Joe, Thank you for your feedback. It should be a snug fit. We haven't heard of any complaints but I will certainly pass it along to our product development team to see if we can improve the clearance in the future.

Thanks Shane. It seems okay on our end . . .
