    FOOEY I put the Madjax Ultimate light kit on my Yamaha and they look GREAT. The have a smooth ckear lens which follow the body contours. They are LED and I have had a lot of compliments on them.

      This video is pretty old, and at that time, there were only a few options on Drive2 light kits. Now, there are tons of options for the Drive2. We now use/sell a different kit that looks just like the OEM lights.
      Thanks for watching!

    I love the look of this light kit. Will it work on the 2014 g29? Very informative video. Hubby was able to understand every step. Awesome.

      The lights shown in this video only fit the 2017 and newer Yamaha's. Here is a link to a light kit that will work on your cart - powerequipmentman.com/collections/drive-1-2007-2016/products/yamaha-drive-g29-rhox-deluxe-led-light-kit

    I just bought a Yamaha electric motor golf cart. When you charge the battery do you put the switch on the on position or toe position. Also can I leave the golf cart plug in all the time?

    Have you installed the OEM kit? Would you recommend the Rhox over OEM? I have an efi PTV with lights but want street legal lights.

    • @PowerEquipmentMan
      @PowerEquipmentMan  3 роки тому +1

      The Rhox lights don't use the same size cut out hole as the OEM lights do. So if your PTV already has lights you wont be able to replace them with the Rhox. I did a video on installing turn signals on a PTV cart - ua-cam.com/video/ZtDKsVNJM2o/v-deo.html

    Nice kit but I don’t care for the break pad and turn signal control. Any option for a G29?

    • @PowerEquipmentMan
      @PowerEquipmentMan  4 місяці тому

      Rhox does make a light kit that fits the G29, but it is pretty overpriced. There are a lot of decent options available for pretty cheap if you do some looking.

    Any idea if the cowl on this is the same as the Drive cowls? Would really like to change to these.

    • @PowerEquipmentMan
      @PowerEquipmentMan  7 місяців тому

      No, the Drive and Drive2 light kits are not interchangeable. The cowl shape and body lines are different.

    Have you upgraded to this kit from the factory kit. Will the rhox headlight cover the factory style lights with No gaps? Thanks

      We have not tried it, but I'm 99% sure it wont work. I think Madjax had a kit that you could do a bunch of trimming and kind of make it fit, but it looked like a pain. Take a look at their youtube channel. I like the way the OEM lights look, why change it?

      @@PowerEquipmentMan The person we bought if from installed a cheaper China kit (their words). I don't want to waste money and try to install the brake/horn kit if it won't work with the current setup. We need the the brake and turn signals/horn for where we're at with it.

    • @PowerEquipmentMan
      @PowerEquipmentMan  2 роки тому

      If its a cheap china kit then its not an OEM kit. OEM cutouts are completely different. There is only a handful of different aftermarket light kits for the Drive2, so just find the aftermarket deluxe kit that looks the same as what you currently have and it will most likely fit just fine. BTW they are all made in China, just to different standards.

    Do you think that would install on a g22?

    • @PowerEquipmentMan
      @PowerEquipmentMan  3 роки тому

      I think I have seen people try it before but it didn't look very good because the body has a different curve to it.

    In the link section you state: "You have to buy the pieces of this kit separately" Not sure what you mean by this. There is an Ebay kit that has more than just lights and they just below is a brake pedal switch. Are saying the Ebay kit does not come with a pedal switch?
    That Ebay kit is $385! Is it that much better than several other kits seen on Ebay?

    • @PowerEquipmentMan
      @PowerEquipmentMan  3 роки тому

      Sorry that was confusing. I just changed those links a couple days ago because I found that complete kit on ebay that was cheaper than buying all the parts separately from Amazon (no one had a complete kit available on Amazon at the time). The ebay link is for a complete kit that comes with a different style of brake switch that is a little more difficult to install and I dont really like. So I also added the link for the brake pad switch like the one I used in the video, if someone wanted to use that instead. There is a bunch of other light kits on ebay and amazon for half the price but they only fit the Drive 1, not the Drive 2. There is very few light kits available for the Drive 2, and I feel that the Rhox kit is the best looking and performing kit available. I've been in the golf cart business for a long time and have found that you always "get what you pay for" when it comes to cart parts. Thanks for watching.

    I do not like the pad you attach to the brake pedal......there is a brake switch that you install under the floor panel that is factory or there is also a non factory model.....can this feature be modified to use this brake pedal switch?

    • @PowerEquipmentMan
      @PowerEquipmentMan  2 місяці тому +1

      You can use this brake switch option instead - www.golfcart.com/pc_product_detail.asp?key=31392CA83F04418B892528A8488B4A9E
