The best diverticulitis medicine was Paregoric, but of course they banned that. But if the Captain had been fortified with Paregoric, he wouldn’t have missed a beat! Welcome back.

I have not had the pleasure of getting teeth chiseled out of my head yet , but I can relate to the diverticulitis first hand- had many days in the ER and many recovery days living on mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese !!
