Based on a true story. Retired Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell' (who had a movie, Lone Survivor, made about him) was given a service dog when he left the military. He named it DASY, the letters standing for friends he lost in action. One day he heard a gun shot, went outside, and saw his dog was killed. He noticed a car nearby which took off (it was the guys who killed the dog) and he chased them at speeds reaching 100mph. He did call 911, and when told not to chase them so he wouldnt get hurt, said "im a SEAL m'am, im not worried about that" 😎 Long story short cops caught the guys, 1 got probation one got 2 years prison. All the assassin stuff is made up obvs, but the part about a badass going ham bc a cpl scumbags killed his dog DASY who meant the world to him-thats absolutely true.
The story about DASY is true. However the connection to the movie script supposedly isn't. The writer's have stated the only heard about it after the script was written. They just used the name as a device to increase the audiences empathy making the storyline seem more realistic.
i think the 1st keanu reeves(kee-ah-new) movie i ever saw was bill and ted when i was little, and then the matrix way later on. i think you'll like the matrix. it makes you think about and question life and the world around you. bill and ted was good too. it's about time travel and that actor is john leguizamo. he's in a lot of movies but 2 of his most famous ones are the pest, and the live action mario bros movie from the 90's. he played luigi. i just watched the john wick movies last year on roku and they were good but something that always bothered me was how much of an amazing, bad coincidence it is for you to randomly run into your dad's ex employee at a gas station, go to his house, beat him up, unalive his dog, and steal his car? those chances are astronomically high. as much as i'm glad to see john get revenge on everybody, honestly i would have taken the father's deal to talk stuff over. like money, or maybe some property. the son would have gotten some kind of punishment though. like maybe lose some fingers, make him where a dress or a dog costume all the time when he goes out on missions as a humiliation ritual, and make him drive a soccer mom car or a volkswagon beetle everywhere. lol
