I just watched all your ACL videos. I recently tore my ACL and meniscus for the second time Dec. 26th but in my other knee from bouldering. I had surgery January 18th as well, so it was cool seeing your progress! The tingling sensation is brutal and so uncomfortable! Due to my meniscus I couldn’t put weight on it until week 4, so a total of 5 weeks with them. Getting off of crutches and being able to walk is such an awesome step to recovery! I look forward to seeing you get back to doing the things you love!
I bought a project car right before I got my ACL repaired. It's been good to have something (not sports related) to spend endless hours researching and working on. There's only so much PT to do in a day
Expect to have a "dead zone" on your skin for the long run along with the random tingly sensation. I'd say I have a three inch diameter circle area right near the incision that hasn't gotten surface sensation back for about 13 years now. Now I get the joy of having that in the other leg too 🤦♀️ happy healing!
Thanks for sharing your experience so far. I've recently done nearly the same as you (late Jan).. Tore my ACL completely while innocently skiing. No biggie. Pow! Wtf?! Ugh, almost no swelling, can walk but what a rollercoaster so far. I've been told 9+months to wait for surgery (thanks Covid). Current status: hitting the gym hard. Best of luck on the recovery! 🚀
I met you at PT the other day! Wow! That's awesome you already back at 100%ish weight bearing it took me like 5 weeks because I also tore my meniscus and LCL. I also had to wait for 6 weeks to bend past 90°. As soon as you're able to start walking again the healing process really picks up! I've been doing lots of swimming and hitting the stair master hard.
I had lots of spasms and wild movements for the few days after my surgery. Don't rush it, keep the rest going. The strength and coordination will come with time.
Healing time sucks, it feels like you're doing nothing so much of the time, but the body is doing a lot of stuff in the background. G'bless you, you sneezed while I was typing this. 😅 Staying positive is just as important as rest, so yeah, keep doing that too 😁 Oh, and thanks for sharing, I can't imagine making videos is quite as fun right now.
Yo dude get well soon and get back to brappin and park lapping, beer smashing, sunshine grabbin, high fiving 🖐 , big gap gaping.. yo if it makes you feel better check out my mtn bike videos, I’m working on making more and getting better at making videos.. peace

The view is beautiful. The process is brutal.

Thank you for this video. It helped me with so many things I was worried about. I’ve had very similar things
I had my ACL surgery and meniscus repair done yesterday, just beginning my recovery process!

Damn I’m 2 weeks postop and still can’t do a leg lift or flex my quad fully. This is defeating 😅
