- I'm walking!!! Surgery went well and now it's time to recover. Super happy with all the help I get from the doctors, physios, sponsors and family :) This really helps to recover in the best way possible. Enjoy watching!

Wow, how did you manage to walk in 3 days after surgery? Very impressive!
In Europe that’s how it’s done, no braces and crutches only until you can bear your whole weight, usually no more than a week.
I was walking on crutches 6 hours post op and it was fine !

6 days into my ACL surgery now and feeling good.. full hyper extension and can even walk without crutches, I think pushing it early on day 2 and 3 with stretching and balancing helps even though people worry not too

hai, i just do ACL surgery last monday. today already 6 days. your hospital is nice. your physios is nice. i just stay at home after days surgery. just rest at home for 2 week. after 2 week will do physios. is my hospital like you. i will stay. haha
hi im so amazed you walk already in 3days.🎉me like still in bed after a week of my knee plateau surgery.i cannot raise my left leg,still no power from my thigh😢help

Beste Pippa, succes met het herstel. Waarom naar Wenen voor je ACL als de experts gewoon in Nederland zitten? Collega’s Hoogeslag en van Houten van OCON orthopedische en sportmedische kliniek zijn gesuperpecialiseerd in deze sportletsels, ook bij kiters. De gekozen techniek is prima, maar de trombose injecties, onnodige spuit in je knie, te fanatieke fysiotherapie waren je bespaard gebleven en uiterlijk de volgende dag naar huis. Ik kan het weten, ook fanatiek kiter en zelf ACL reconstructie ondergaan. Hopelijk kun je begin 2023 weer lekker kiten. Groet, Mark Havinga, orthopedisch chirurg OCON.
Hi Mark, ik snap je bevindingen. Duotone heeft mij deze arts aangeraden en ik heb er een heel goed gevoel bij. De fysio oefeningen gingen allemaal super goed en had echt bijna geen zwelling in mijn knie. Ik heb zelf bepaalde stappen ondernomen die ik niet had moeten doen waardoor ik enorme zwelling kreeg. Ook schatte ik niet goed in wat te veel was en wanneer ik rustig aan moest doen. Nu leer ik ervan en weet ik wat wel en niet kan. Ik waardeer je berichtje en bezorgdheid. We kunnen altijd even contact hebben over de telefoon :) Groetjes Pippa
@@Pipsvlog Snap ik. Ik was zelf 14 dagen na de operatie alweer naar een congres in Zermatt Zwitserland, was achteraf niet de beste beslissing voor het herstel van mijn knie :). Mocht ik wat voor je kunnen betekenen, laat het me weten.
