Discovered this channel a few weeks ago. It’s now one of my favorites. The type of flying you do is something I never even considered, yet perfect. Low and slow and anywhere you want to go. My first flying lesson is in September. I can’t wait to do this.
The scenery you guys experience is awesome. Scott nailed his first hilltop like he's done it hundreds of times. You guys make it look easy when in fact, it's highly skilled. Trent, your channel is so much fun to watch. By far my favorite !
I've always liked planes, but watching your channel is the first thing that has ever made me want to fly a plane myself. Thank you guys SO much for taking time out of your awesome experiences to share them. I got addicted to your channel right as you were flying over my house! I can't believe I missed you guys at the middleton fly-in! I hope I get to meet some of you next year!
7:30 Some of the first explorers across the American midwest prairie described grass that was tall enough that, while sitting on a horse, you could tie a knot with two blades of it, over your head. Glad you didn't have to try and land/take-off from that!
is 'n it nice to have buddy with you in those occasion, you sound like a Canadian lol, don't be sorry for making a good judgement call, that ll get you home every time, didn't we all got stuck at one point or a other, that's what makes the story more interesting, wow kevin boy will be so stoke ,any self respecting star-war fan would kill for a 4 foot darth-vader , i agreed with Nancy we all relate to over looking a TAF or NOTAM at leas once , live and learn , is your OBR normal on the titan engine ? , can't wait for more adventure but you guys need some family time and rest.
Thank you as always for posting these amazing videos Trent. My dad was a light plane pilot back in the mid 1930s (got his license at 16) He always told me about how awesome it was to fly low altitude over the corn fields and prairies of Nebraska. He never flew again in his later years. I remember him looking into a friends Cessna 172 with all the instruments, auto pilot, etc. and saying "This ain't for me!" After following you for some time now, I think I know what pop was talking about!! This is what flying is all about.
Trent I love your videos, they have inspired me to get back in the air. I’m 63 and have owned a ‘42 Aeronca L-3C for 23 years, it’s my friend so I can’t sell it, so you have inspired me to fly it again. Thank you Trent !
I just love your videos. Because of them I’m considering getting my license. I’m 69 ... I assume it’s never too late. It’s nice you guys have such a fine brotherhood. Thanks for your work
That's a dream come true. That hilltop was beautiful. I think for me the best aviation can offer is flying to a remote location and enjoying the sights. I'd have a tent with me every where I go. That's really what got me hooked on helicopter flying. Off-field landings are the best!
Found your channel by accident. It's now my favorite. I use to fly years ago, but life (family & kids) came first. Had to put it on the back burner. Way back there. Now I'm 68 and a Grandpa, and I have an almost overwhelming desire to start again. Looking forward to your videos, and those of the Flying Cowboys. Thanks.
G. Flanary It happened to me 10 years ago as well. Owned a plane. Flew to oshkosh a few times. Then life got in the way. Trent's videos make me really want to get back into it.
HOW MUCH FUN was this video?!?! You guys are all great friends and thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us all! The camaraderie is truly inspirational among all you guys! LOVE LOVE LOVE this channel! ALWAYS excited for new content!
Just watching you all fly over South Dakota seeing sights I call home really makes me want to pursue this also my family farms bout 14 miles west of pipestone airport.
Wow, what a fun day you had! (I love "low and slow"). And I' really glad you guys flew together -- to help each other out, to give support, to NOT leave someone stranded or in the lurch. You guys rock! Bravo!
I was bumming that Osh was over, for many reasons, but the end of the Low and Slow daily vlogs was right at the top! Thanks for sharing, especially for those of us stuck at home/work and not at Osh!
Trent, over the past 2 weeks you have opened up an entire "other" realm of aviation that I have never actually knew existed. I think I am now in love with bush flying. Can't wait to experience what you guys do. Great job in OSH!
5:19 I know the guy in the overalls, he gave me a ride when I was up at Oshkosh with Mark Spang, Mark ran US Aerotech maintenance program. You did a remarkable job of crabbing on landing. Thank you so very much for the ride
Wow and thank you for your time and for sharing your experiences in the Air, I just like to say that we need more and longer videos from the air over the land ( our butiful land ) and of you guys flying in the air longer
You guys are inspiring a new generation of pilots who like the little wheel in the back where it belongs. I am setting up a kitfox 4 for a kid right now that said your videos are what got him into Aviation. Keep up the good work!!
How exciting it must be for you all....I remember when my step-dad use to fly us in his tri-cycle Cessna and land on the beach south of Anchorage across east of Lake Iliamna to salmon fish and what an exciting time for me...thanks for the memories!
Your crew is having the most fun in Aviation right now. I was checking out the crews planes at OSH and I ran into young kids stoked about you and your crew. Nothing better than motivating kids to get out and GSD.. KID told me he was going to build a kitfox! I was so stoked for him and his enthusiasm. Keep it up guys. We are watching! G$
Flying over Minnesota you guys were only 100 miles south of where I grew up at Pipestone. This is really fun to see. This is like a long biker run only in the air. I am a little envious of you flyboys.
I’ve wanted to fly forever thank god I found your videos to help me decide to go for it! Some how I am gonna have a super awesome Kitfox one day too! Thanks for all the great videos!
Awesome & magnificent Flying shots, just totally amazing....You are seriously filling my bucket-list for me to do....WOW. Thank you Trent & The Flying Cowboys & Co. Dave J
I randomly stumbled across this channel while i was researching taildragger planes. I love the footage. Now i need to see if my wife’s grandfather will sell me his piper clipper for cheap. I live in Missouri and would love to do flights like this all over the ozarks. Thank you for showing your adventures
Hey Trent, Welcome to LaCrosse, was cool you guys stopped here and had eats at Nutbush.... we go there quite often they have good stuff. again great vids ....always fun.
You guys are great. Having fun, and taking advantage of the beauty of the land and the challenges of being different and off the software. Been there, done that. Just keep making it up as you go. Iguana
Cool vid, looks like you visited a few airports in my neck of the woods. Doing hospital outreach I have spent quite a few days waiting in that ugly chair in Tracy MN.
My dad was a pilot when I was younger. He doesn't fly anymore but I've always loved flying since going all over with him. Your videos spark that in me again. I may have to see about what it would take to learn. I researched it years ago but I'm sure it is much different.
Great video, thank you. I especially love flying down the canyon video. I get real close to the monitor and visualize being there. It would be a hoot swooping back and forth down a canyon. Love the video on the new house. It is exciting to build your own home. Love to see more video of it. Wish I could be there to swing a hammer and help it come together. keep flying and posting.
Really enjoyed this one Trent, the air to air formations, the beautiful scenery it has everything including that long grass and muddy landing area which brings home the importance of being in a group for support even if it id just bouncing the airplane out via the wing struts, you guys are living the adventure and have put back country flying adventures firmly on the map, just brilliant and you are getting mighty good with that Mavic too.
Awesome, I love watching and following your travels and vlogs. I was going to come meet you and your group at Oshkosh but I’ve been suffering with a bad back flare-up and wasn’t able to make the fly-in this year. It sucks because I’m only about 15 minutes north of Oshkosh, there’s always next year!
How cool would it be to be fishin on the river bank and these bush planes drop outta no where and skim the butter. I can barely fly my rc plane and I’m hooked on these videos.
Awesome informative videos Trent!!!! I’ve been wanting to fly again, thanks for the motivation! I need a plane! Sold my RV7 3yrs ago, did all my training in a 7GCBC. Looking for STOL aircraft now. Thanks!
Great fun! FYI you and your plane were in last Fridays AOPA's report from Osh, those young twins looked so excited to be sitting in your airplane while being interviewed.
Man I absolutely love you guys videos. I've been following 2 or 3 of you guys. And it's never boring and you always learning something or Amazed by something. Lol
That precautionary landing was kinda interesting and exciting! Can't wait to see what tomorrow might bring. Good weather so far. I hope it holds for ya.
Love your videos, and nice music.. Need to see more flying and take offs and landings filmed. Can't get enough. Can you mount a camera on your wing, so you can enjoy the flying and we can see it too! Great fun!
Your content is amazing and so well put together. Just discovered you recently. I will be 65 in November. I started flying 50 years ago this fall! Went to Purdue for Aeronautical Engineering, had and instrument and commercial cert. Flew up through the early 80's when the marriage and kids came along, then it was too expensive as a hobby! Wow would I love to have a ride like yours!! But for now just will have to watch your adventures.
Man, I need to get me one of those. Looks like a lot of fun. I saw your last video and I can tell the long flight really takes a toll. Thanks for sharing these videos stay safe!!
That's amazing footage right there. Beautiful great first day. I'm going to do everything in my power to go next year.... your video makes it that much more thanks.

skytel24, I'm right there with ya.
2 years later but same
Happens to me today
Finding this channel a few days ago has completely changed my attitude towards this type of flying. Best channel on this website👍
Same here if I was a younger man. And had the money.

That was so fun! Hahhaha. Sorry for getting stuck in the mud, but it had to be done!
Not sure what you're apologizing for, he got the shot! lol! After all, there is no story without conflict and resolution. :-)
All the sketchy stuff is what makes an adventure an adventure! Gotta have something to chuckle about
It had to be done lol

You guys look like you have the best fun together and I love they way you look after each other 👏👊
I grew up in South Dakota. Great to see you appreciating how beautiful the Missouri and prairie are. By the way, Pierre is pronounced "pier".
Awesome scenic footage of the U.S. heartland. Keep that bean footage coming.
Roll that beautiful bean footage!

It was a pleasure meeting you and the other STOL fliers at Oshkosh. Your group sure did make a splash and leave a good impression.
Great fun! FYI you and your plane were in last Fridays AOPA's report from Osh, those young twins looked so excited to be sitting in your airplane while being interviewed.
Hell yeah that's a good day of flying!!!
welcome to South Dakota, next time you should fly along the white river and stop by our place, i have a nice little runway too.
I think Kitfox owes you a free airplane for all the positive press they’re getting from you lmao.
I know the support him pretty good.
Ye but he already has one
I think he's got a lot of free stuff from them and others.
I am Hooked on your site! So much fun flying with all of you guys and what beautiful country!
Wow! What an amazing trip! Great work on the video Trent!

Beautiful, simply awesome.
right on! so cool. that tall grass would be tough for a zenith.
The 100k subscriber mark isn't far off, at least with this growth. 20k subs wasn't that long ago. Still totally underrated channel in my opinion!
So cool! I'm about 100 miles from Pierre, so you hadto be close! It would be so cool to have seen all these planes flying in formation!
Great video, can’t wait to see the rest of the trip.
Love your videos, and nice music.. Need to see more flying and take offs and landings filmed. Can't get enough. Can you mount a camera on your wing, so you can enjoy the flying and we can see it too! Great fun!

Livin the dream bud, a dream many dream but few actually get to live and you make it look like an 'every day' affair.
It's so much fun to watch these videos! I can't imagine how it feels to really fly like that.
NICE! hitting the bush for the first time!!! congrats!!
