Hello, Phly! Quick geopoltical note: Taiwan's official name is *Republic of China* , as opposed to the *People's Republic of China* that governs the mainland and that we always just call "China". Both governments claim legitimacy as rulers of the Chinese nation (the PRC more than the Taiwanese, of course, as they won't get it back ever again most probably). That is why Taiwan never changed its name to "Taiwan" and remains the same pre-WW2 Republic of China that was substituted by the PRC on the mainland when the communists won the Civil War in 1949. Since then, Taiwan is the last bastion of that once all-encompassing Republic of China, until "recently" ruled by the nationalists of the Kuomintang. You can see their flag/roundel on the early planes of the tech tree - that white sun on a blue background - which is also the centre piece of the contemporary Taiwanese flag. When the Chinese fought the Japanese between 1931 and the end of WW2 in 1945, and utill they lost the Chinese mainland to the communists, that was the national roundel of China. So, Gaijin has this one right, for once. This is a paralel situation to Korea, since there is no political entity called "South Korea" or "North Korea". They are the Republic of Korea (ROK) and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). I believe it is easy to tell which one is Kim Jong-Un's dictatorial social experiment, as it follows, like "China", the usual communist naming conventions XD Btw, keep up the great vids!! hey Phly another overkill low tier vehicle that you haven't played in a few years is the PZ IV/70 A at 4.3 with the same canon as the panther! I recently picked it up during the anniversary sale and love it, would love to see you do an update on it as I think it is lower BR than your last video on it.
I put that thing into a 5.7 lineup and it is just as brutal. Probably the best brawler in mid war Germany. (Sry, I meant the OG tech tree version. Never tried (A) and it seems like the worst of the three)
Except the A version has a flat lower plate, as opposed to the tech tree variant. This makes it literally so easy to kill in one shot. The only advantage you can hope for is them not expecting the A variant

Taiwan is officially called Taiwan internally, however for marketing purposes because the CCP will restrict access to media regarding Taiwan as its own independent state, there's a caveat that pieces of media like War Thunder need to refer to it in some way as part of China -- with War Thunder being a "historical setting", they can get around this by calling Taiwan by Nationalist China's old name from the 1940s, Republican China or the Republic of China. It's by the same technicality that Taiwan is allowed its own Olympic team, if they give the outward appearance that they're part of China. Thus, "Chinese Taipei."
