Good shit man, my fs head is wobble and its causing the clutch to actually make slight pinging sound which is what you said probably the cable slapping the housing from the mis alignment. Thats is a huge help, thank you.
@THEMOWERMEDIC1 what's the name of the metal bushing assembly that this rubber attaches to? I'm pretty sure i need to replace that entire unit. I bought mine used on the cheap on account of the powerhead being totally loose-goose on the shaft like it freely rotates around the sucker and the guy I bought it from just had a bunch of electrical tape holding the powerhead and the shaft together but it still spins around completely with the tape. I'm pretty sure it got dropped while they were up in a tree is my guess? He didn't "Speak-ae da engle-ssa" if you catch my drift 🇲🇽... Do you think replacing that part that you cleaned up with the brake cleaner would do the trick?
I got it thank you very much for showing me that I'm struggling but I'm learning every day and it's people like you that help me make a living thank you so much
Great job again,😀 Parts can be expensive on Stihl parts especially on Professional Equipment more noticeable, but the do work well in general. Got over 10 years on a Stihl FS 55, before I stuffed the gearbox, just upgraded to a new FS 85 for the extra $100 upgraded to the FS 85 plus the other reason was that the 55 didn’t have the grease nipple as before in the Gearbox. Have a FS 55 Combi, but only the standard attachment for trimming, on the look out for second hand accessories at a good price.
I wish you were closer to San Antonio I got a lot of small engine stuff that I just don’t nobody care of the trust to work on him I wish you could work on God bless
The saw that you were doing went very easy. I had to replace the drive shaft and clutch drum on this 110. The allen bolt and the nut is having a hard time lining up with each other. I've tried everything but dawn dish soap. It goes down into the housing easy but trying to line the holes up with that clamp is adding to hours spent on the repair. Any hints would be appreciated or maybe you already have a video on that such repair...thanks
On my fs91r weed eater the clamp inside the rubber bushing broke . So wen I put the screw in , it doesn’t clamp shut , so I think if I just replace the clamp and keep the old bushing it should be okay .?
How do u know when to replace this rubber insert? I have a fs85 recently lubricated and serviced but still vibrates more than normally? Any suggestions what might be causing it?
Throwing it onto the trailer or on the bed of the truck will break the bushing or other small parts, especially on 91's or higher. Set it down, don't toss it.
I have fs94r with a rattle 3/4 of the way down the saft, i can put my hand around it and it goes away. Only a year old any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Shaft bent
@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 ah darn it thought about that. Thanks for the help 👍🏽
Sorry for the simple question but what causes the damage, and how can it be prevented?
Just normal wear, they also send a new buffer with every pole saw assembly because of all the extra weight pole saws have.

How do u replace the fs90s fs110s fs 100s style ones
Same procedure. Just did it on my FS111.. I dont know the parts number I went to a stihl dealer..
I never got the part number for the clutch Bell bushing
FM18F1
It doesn't come out the easy plus on the ht103 there is a update clutch housing and short drive shift that goes in the engine end
