Absolutely! All his covers are spot on.. Got to see him live in November..1st time. Great show! If he performs near you you NEED to go! he puts his fingerprints on the originals..often times better !

This song reminds me of my childhood to adolescence, where there was a moment of peace, my parents were alive, my family was together and I just had to worry about going to school. On vacation I played outdoors with my friends, we had family gatherings, and I spent the entire vacation playing video games. Ahh the 90s, how good life is and at the same time it goes by so fast, I miss it.

I saw these guys several times when I lived in Park City, UT and it's no joke, the crowd gives a forced, gently clap afterwards. I think they are spoiled though because they play at The Pie so much. Mike has since moved to Denver, and I've turned a couple friends onto him and they love him. Him and Jeff are super nice guys and super talented. Highly recommend catching a show if you can.

Just want to say I never get tired of listening to these. This and the Africa cover just blew me away. The harmonies and song choices are simply amazing and bring it all togethor. Its a shame I am in the UK as I would love a chilled night out and listen to this all night. If you came over here you could easily make your money back in gigs while having s holiday. If there was an album I would be first in line.

Mike, in all honesty I am so grateful to see you putting these out. I'm 31, played in bands for years, kind of given up on playing in any kind of precessional way. I fluctuate between defeated and driven. Seeing you really go for your passion gives me some hope. I've put off recording in the last few months, but I'm more determined than I have been in a long time to just do it: record, play, put it out and see where it goes. Amazing tunes, brother.

As a singer, cover performer, guitarist I am super-critical of other cover acts. Found Mike Massé on Spotify on some acoustic cover playlist two weeks ago, now it’s all I have been bumping in the car. I’m most impressed when he pulls out a song like “Leader of the Band” and actually nails the fingerstyle. Mike’s incredible talent goes without saying, but what is most remarkable is his uncanny attention to detail. Lots of talented acts out there, but the ones that can forensically scrub, and then memorize every note in their repertoire are among the elite. Would love to play a gig with this guy.

Thanks. I completely agree about Brenda's voice. It's every bit as cool and unique as Dolores', in it's own way. I got the pleasure of being a backup musician for one of Brenda's bands in college called Gathering Osiris, doing all their originals. We even won a local Battle of the Bands, and got a free trip to NXNW out of it. It was a super cool experience, getting to hear her sing so much.
