    "It's not necessary to use a complicated joint." I dunno...a hidden, hand-cut dovetail seems pretty complicated to me. I love it!

      A simple joint to me would be a butt joint with a screw coming in diagonally from each side 😂

      By gaining a lot of experience in Japan, foreign carpenters can reach the same level.
      However, you also need innate talent.

      That's a mortise and tenon not a dovetail unless I'm high.

      @@zhugeliang777the mortise and tenons are the posts with the black plastic feet. The dovetail was to join 2 pieces to make the longest stretches.

      The company I work for has a Skil branded one. It’s called a supersawsquatch not to be confused with the standard “sawsquatch” which is smaller. The thing is a little freaky to run because, if it kicks back, you’re looking at a saw that can literally cut you in half lol

    More beautiful work, always impressed by superior hammer work. It just takes one misplaced blow to ruin the appearance of a project and to watch your confidant, rapid hammering is a pleasure. Thank you 🙇‍♂️
    I've found the round headed nails difficult to drive without suffering a glancing blow or two.

    Nice video.

    I've been following you for a while and also look at the older videos.
    Think it's great how your electrical machines and your manual work bring different things to your work.
    I have a question.
    At min. 07:30 where you use the pull and chop saw. There the short board lies with one side on the saw table and the other side of the board lies on a height-adjustable part (which pulls out like a "car jack").
    What is the name of the ad part?

      Harder woods cut easier actually.Tools must be very sharp. Cleaner edges,more precise.
