Remove thatch with liquid D-Thatch!

I chose the liquid thatch digester, D-Thatch over mechanically removing zoysia thatch.
What is thatch might you ask? Dead roots, rhizomes, stolons and any other organic material that has accumulated between the root layer and the bottom of the leaf blades. Over time, this accumulation will for a dense "mat" that can be nearly impenetrable if it isn't managed. I decided to go with the N-Ext D-Thatch because I want to break this material up and have a byproduct of plant usable nutrients. How does that work? This product stimulates and feeds soil microbes, in turn creating a huge population. This population then turns to dead, organic matter for food. It's the exact same principle of using compost/ chicken litter based ferts or milo for fertilizer. It takes time to let the microbes break it down into a plant usable form of food.
