Okay but can we talk about that beautiful St. Augustine grass?! It’s so nice! What products (if any) do you use on it? I have St. Augustine in my front yard but it’s been starting to fade due to weeds taking over. I’ve been trying to de-weed the yard to get it back to it’s former glory

RIT works but I would spray some type of fabric sealer. The paint fades off when you step on it with wet shoes or spills.
I went with black fabric spray on my ej1 this time see if it holds up better..

Looks good! Things I've learned over the years is start with a pack of powder with 2 gallons of water and 1 cup white vinegar and use that mix as a "primer" next you can switch to a bottle to get it black black. When done I suggest setting the dye with vinegar and then rinse the pad again. I have had mats bleed onto my shoes in higher temps..not Everytime but a couple times my shoe soles have turned black 😅

After taking the carpet out of the vehicle, and vacuuming it, take it to a laundromat and wash it once or twice in a big front-loader washing machine (the ones that large comforters are washed in). Use some odor eliminating detergent during the wash cycle. Then dry it gently on low heat. 🎇🌴

I only wiped in the dye after the last coat. After all three bottles were sprayed down on it the carpet got more saturated with the dye, you know. So only at the end did I feel it was necessary to wipe the dye in to the fiber but see how it goes for you. Maybe you’ll feel you want to do it after each coat. i pressure washed mine then soaked with Dawn dish soap, and then i scrubbed really good,
then pressure washed it again and hung it out in the Florida sun for most of the next day,
i could have used a wet-vac to speed it up but i had other projects i was working on, so it was all good!

Anyone know the speaker size for the front of a 99 civic? Is it 5.25"? I tried a couple ranging from 6.5" and down from Amazon. Didn't work. Anyone know the scoop?

Did you not have to rinse the carpet after you dye it?

go to the garden isle in any hardware store, should be something called a "chemical sprayer" or something like that.

the question is.. does it transfer/bleed color? will your shoes drag it out, stain your concrete? stain your house carpet/deck? what if your shoes are wet? i've considered this method but these ?s stop me.. I thin down acrylic craft paint and airbrush it on restorations of pre-war vehicles and its good, stays soft and perfect.. only its a week dry/air out time to feel confident the smell is out of it
