What was it really good time for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 for me it was the game on Call survival mode I am a lot of fun with it I think it was back in 2016 or 2017 my highest was waived 25 I survived that far it was awesome most summer survive that far most the time I die around the tens or in the teens just want to let you know that was a great time also the campaign was really good I'm glad you make this video it was awesome I hope you have a good night dude thank you making this video
Omg OSRS sponsor??? 😂 god you are awesome
Small reminder that Wallcroft and Griffin from Mind the Gap were the other two members who infiltrated the ship in Modern Warfare 1 with Priece, Gaz and Soap, nice little continuity even for background characters
Ah, I was going to comment this. It's cool to see them return after skipping a game, now that MW3 focuses on the SAS again. Shame Griffen eats it during the train crash, but at least Wallcroft makes it through.
SO happy you covered this gem of a finisher to an epic trilogy of our childhood! Truly thank you!
Always wondered why they didn’t make those 2 members of the 141. They were part of Bravo 6 damn it
Also how Sandman was part of TF141 in MW2, he can sometimes appear as an AI. I've had him spawn on the oil rig mission as well as the prison break mission. It makes sense he's Delta in MW3 since TF141 was disavowed.
@@jackparsons7953 He would have been branded a traitor and charged with treason for being part of a task force that killed an American general. Sandman you find in MW2 was just another call sign for a disposable operator, the 4 leads of this delta force team weren’t even a thought when they put sandman in MW2.
Delta's sacrifice in the mission: Down The Rabbit Hole. Never seen a more heroic scene like that in other COD games.
Delta, except for frost. They realised he was a main character and sent him on a solo mission at the diamond mine.
Yeah, that part had me tearing up a little.
@@basti2850 lets hope frost is active again in CoDMW3 202X
You could say they did their job as soldiers and went pass the Call of Duty
@@baconsoldier3876 yeah. Even if its just a few references. Frost is an underrated character to me
I think what really made Soaps death both haunting and emotional, was that's the only time you'll ever see Price that emotional, close of shouting.
One of the real cool things is, after Soap's death they show what medals he has..
One of them includes the fricken Victoria Cross. AKA: British military's highest award.
I'd guess for the events of MW1.
Makarov still has the most satisfying COD villain death. The fact that the "Objective Completed" marker doesn't pop until after he finally stops moving is such a good touch.
this comment alone made me want to replay each game in order
Also the way he died, hanged like the war criminal he is
The voice acting in mw3 is just *chef's kiss* spot on. I remember the intro for the mission mind the gap perfectly where the UK and the french are giving intel to one another and the slightly paniced voices of the MI5 director and baseplate. Plus the Delta Force team are all great actors too
idris Elba was truck
@@guerillla6 Timothy Oliphant and William Fitchner were also a part of that team
@@SirBigWater yep. William Fitchner ( Prison Captain from The Longest Yard) was Sandman, Timothy Oliphant (Agent 47 in the first Hitman movie) was Grinch, and Idris Elba (various roles) was Truck. Great casting!
“Price you need to know..”
heartbreaking and very well done by Kevin mckidd as soap. You could feel he knows the end is there and he HAS to tell price 😭
Dudeeeeeee you have 141 likes
As amazing as mw2 was, I more grew up with mw3, I remember this entire campaign like I just played it yesterday
Honestly same mw3 is my favorite from the old trilogy
I was just old enough to play games when mw3 came out, and let me tell you I have never played a game so much than mw3
Dude same! I used to be a WII kid so MW3 was fucking awesome from BO1 on the WII, the ammount of time spent getting mad at dual FMG9's or playing spec ops survival are memories I will never trade in.
the fact they revived soap to kill him off just again makes me remember the campaign as clear as day.
Same, my first time seeing Yuri die was my first time I had such a up bringing feeling of just killing Makarow and which I had the pleasure to.
Plus this Call of duty was of the first to introduce survival to me but with actual soldier AI to man hunt my butt, fun times
Just a clarification that makes Yuri even more badass.
9:00 He’s holding a HYENA’S JAW while shootin fools. Hyenas have a stronger bite than Lions. And Yuri’s like “hold up one second”
Well, just because I can be nitpicky, he is not holding its Jaw, he is holding its neck, but being able to just pull his hand out of its mouth makes him a badass nontheless.
One thing I really appreciated is when you set up to breach the room to rescue the Russian President's daughter, the enemy breaches out first and storms the hallway you're in. After all the slow-mo breach and clear segments in the MW trilogy, it's a lovely little subversion of how we expect it to play out
And when you breach for her a second time later on (in down the rabbit hole), there are no enemies in the room with her if I remember correctly.
@@JCDenton0451 there definitely are i know this as have some how managed to fail it a few times
@@AlexWithington I looked it up now, I meant the moment at 9:04 in this gameplay of the mission:ua-cam.com/video/OS9OLwls5II/v-deo.html
@@JCDenton0451 sorry nah i had a blank and got the daughter ans father a3ound the wrong way
It punishing you with a sin for not mentioning how the ending sequence in “Turbulence” is immediately followed up by the Spec-Ops mission “Hostage Takeover”, which fills in how Alena evaded Markerov’s forces up until “Scorched Earth”. Very nice attention to detail and smart way to flush out the story without making the campaign too bloated.
AND the dlc spec ops mission where frost is the snowmobile which shows us why he wasnt with the main group
@@scorchedsniper Both of those missions have quirks and aren't even confirmed lore tbh frost should have been in down the rabbit hole.
@@brawlstarssponsorships It is Frost. His callsign in the mission is literally Metal 0-4. Same one as in the campaign. The Devs intended this. It wasn't any coincidence
MW3 was the only COD campaign that I completed on Veteran difficulty, and I'm proud of that
To this day the only campaign I haven't beaten on Veteran that I own is bo1 due to the onrails section of Rebirth Island having a checkpoint right where a guy throws a fire bomb on you that will kill you and basically softlocking you unless you restart the mission, that's Hudsons side and if you restart you have to recomplete Mason's side.
@@ColetheFlame01
If you can beat WAW, you can beat BO1
@@kiratherenegade1561 unfortunately I said that "beaten on Veteran that I own" which implies I don't own every CoD. sadly, WoW is one of the CoDs I do not own though I really wish I did.
I honestly thought it was gonna be MW1 with "No Fighting in The War Room" but WAW's "Heart of The Reich" remains the only mission I couldn't beat on veteran. Too many damn grenades.
this game holds a special place in my heart. it was my first "big kid" game, my first COD game, my first ps3 game. this game gave me so many first, i will never forget this game, ever.
In light of the train, I think it's positioning. In ww2 after the car crashes its just you on the ground with the protagonist safety bubble watching the train crash go on and on. Where as in mw3 the length was used while still avoiding danger in the vehicle, sure we survived but the effort felt earned by the characters.
Plus another thing I think helps the one in MW3 is it doesn’t look like a cutscene. Your still able to control your character and the fast pace of the car and mission at this point are at their chrgshendo meaning it would of probably been a bit weird of the train just slowed down and it went from MENTAL -> soft instantly vs having it crash through the area and us crashing into it, brining said chase to an end and giving the nice round down in adrenaline.
The one in WW2 already ends with the car chase, having the train maybe hit the shed and stop/derail slightly would be all that’s needed, but having it crash and flip train cars everywhere while your character lies there in a pre-rendered cutscene at what feels like the end of a mission, just kills the adrenaline and excitement immediately.
It was so nice seeing Wallcroft and some of the other SAS boys from the og MW. I think they were on the first ship mission
God, I love Overlord and Sandman's voice. I didn't know Price and Soap back then because this was my first game into the series. Also, the battle sequences in this game were great. I grew up with this and I love this game so much.
The intro to "Black Tuesday" is so iconic that it reminds me of how awesome MW3 was!!
The Camcorder section was actually based on the Omagh Bombing, in which a photo was taken of a man with a child on his shoulders, standing next to a Vauxhall Cavalier which exploded after the photo was taken, fortunately the man and child survived although the photographer and others died in the explosion
Few video games have managed to make me cry, but whenever I play Blood Brothers......it always brings tears to my eye seeing Soap die and the sad Cello ring out those somber notes.
RIP "Soap" McTavish.
This game brings back so many great memory's! I remember on the weekends my parents didn't have to work so we would all gather in their room just playing this game, we always play offline mode and take turns playing but we always had a blast playing!
1:28 for real though that’s actually a really cool easter egg. Kinda wish we got to play as Ramirez one last time.
Something really impressive about the Prague Mission is that the geography of the town square is exactly how it is in real life. They even included the statue of Jan Hus.
I had to experience this on the wii with my arm in a cast but it didn't take away from the adrenaline, the fun, or feels and is still one of my favorite COD games
13:10 I hate to be *that* guy, but it is Bryan TYLER not Taylor who is the composer. Dude is an absolute legend
Sarah Schachner was also a uncredited composer working with him on many titles
Thanks for the fix!
Bryan Tyler is probably one of my favourite composers because he's made his career on full-sending it on songs when he could have just done something cool and called it a day. Far Cry 3, the newest F1 Theme, man just writes shit to slap way harder than he needed it to be
@@ramblingrenegade6346 ACIV too
Fun fact that should be a win, is at 9:25, you roll with Wallcroft and Griffin, who are from the ship mission in Modern Warfare! They make a return after being out for the rest of CoD 4 and MW2. They have one of the best missions in MW3 too. Absolute legends
They could occasionally appear as one of the expendable SAS soldiers later but damn. What a waste of bravo 6 members, right? Why weren’t they with price and the 141?
Note, objective completed only shows up when Price knows Makarov is dead. When the corpse stops twitching.
I remember playing mw2 and mw3 so much that they are ingrained as the best CoD games ever. I wish we could go back and just have those forever.
I honestly love the easy day line by sandman (for those who dont know thats the moto of the navy seals "the only easy day was yesturday") which is such a fun bit of poking at the real world rivalry between those two sf branches
The sound effects and music in this game were amazing. It improved spec ops survival too. The intense music kicking in when the juggernauts arrived.
Watching this is giving me so many chills. This game especially because I won a contest to get to go to cod xp and also get the game free and it was such a life changing experience. It was so great
I will alwais love and remenber the MW3 ending with Macarov hanging, and the sacrifice of Sandman and the boiz, with Prize ordering to turn back for them wille the tunnel explodes. Such a fantastic campaing, not the best overall but those moments when it shines hit soo hard
I am getting so many memories from this video from Battle of New York to playing as a juggernaut. Thanks, also the voice acting from Idris Elba ( black Superman),Timothy Olyphant, and William Fichner as Grinch, Trunk, and Sandman.
It's really sad you play as price for the last mission. Being a COD game i had a strong feeling yuri would die. They could've had you start as Yuri, giving you a first person look of being impaled, and then surprise us by swapping to price. Would've added even more impact to the final fight
It only gets so much funnier when In the game Russia somehow makes it all the way to Paris and Russia now cant take a city without months of siege or huge losses and either take a complete ruin or have to retreat.
I’ve always found when Sandman dropped the line, “Easy Day, overlord,” interesting. I have always wondered did Sandman do it as a sign of solidarity to the SEAL’s they worked with during the mission (who’s motto is “The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday”) or was he roasting the SEAL’s by making fun of their motto and calling the mission and by extension the day easy? What do y’all think?
That wave defense mode was the shit for kids who didn't have internet like me
I just love the All Ghillied Up tune at the end even if it was a few notes.
That wasn't a prerender cutscene it is realtime , prerender is the videos before the mission
MW3 is my Favorite CoD of all time. I remember playing the campaign for the first time and being so hyped to play as Price but I litteraly cried when Soap died and Metal Team sacrificed themselves so Price and Yuri could escape with the President. The. Spec Ops and Survival made the game for me. I've logged over 1000 hours on the Campaign and Spec Ops. Multiplayer was amazing too. What I'd give to relive the glory days one last time.
MW3 was the last of the 3 xbox 360 cods ive played, i never knew its story when playing but yet ive grown to those characters introduced in it fondly
I had some insane number of days played on MW3.
It was 52-55 or 57 days played. So I started the game in January 2012 and kept playing it until March of 2018.
I don't know why I loved it so much, the weapons, the maps, getting the MOAB on every map in TDM (which is so fun because you had the time and score limit to fight).
At 1:34 when they are going through sandman’s redacted information you see a brief picture of sandman with price and ghost that’s redacted.
Psa DO NOT BUY THE NEW MW3!!! GET THIS ONE!!!
First Call of Duty game I played in my life, I loved it!
Cod4, MW3 and MW2 are the orders of my favorite cods. Multiplayer and campaigns. Thank you for shouting out Sandman! We all love Price Soap and Ghost but this man was just as badass and he sacrificed himself so they could get out. I love 19 and 22 MWs but this trilogy is truly 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
This may be a bit of a no-brainer if you’re paying attention (which I definitely wasn’t, playing this game at about 14-15 like I did), but since you mentioned both Shepherd’s continuing influence and Soap’s Journal, you may notice that the fatal injury Soap suffers during his fall in “Blood Brothers” is actually the knife wound he received from Shepherd in the last game reopening, which he talks about in his journal as healing too slowly for his liking. Yet another example of how Shepherd and his actions continue to cause chaos and death even from beyond the grave, albeit on a much more personal level losing Soap, and I love it.
Never seen a video about old MW until this! Thanks for the nostalgia, bro!
MW3 was my childhood cod and I absolutely love it ❤️
OK! I see you with the Back to BACK uploads. Cheers to you, you hard working Gamer!
This was my first COD game and man it's my favorite, I hadn't played the two others and still managed to connect with the characters and feel sad in their deaths. Then when I played the other two it became even more impactful.
Also, the hours I spend in survival in this game and the dread I felt when the Juggernaut came are core memories
Nothing beats playing infected on the shopping mall map behind the counter of burgertown
Infected on the train/bus station map, getting on that awning near mid
I grew up on this game and honestly watching this hit me in the feels.
out of all MW games, the third one was always my favorite, especially when you finally kill that sob in the end.
Literally replayed this the other day and hoped you’d do a video on it.
The issue with the WW2 train scene is how much plot armour was in it. The main character was right next to the train and didn't even get a single scratch on them, unlike in MW3 where you actually do get injured

controversial take but Lt. Nick Reyes from Infinite Warfare is a close Top 5 in the multiple emotional deaths in the CoD Franchise.
16:38 why does the Knife on which the dog tag of Soap hangs from looks awfully like the one which was used to stab Soap and then was later used to kill Shepherd in MW2? Ah my heart
Soap's death hurt me so bad and will forever be my favorite character in the entire franchise, even in MW 2019 and MW2

7:10 - I just realised: BO2, G13... Black Ops 2, Ghosts 2013?
They were totally teasing the upcoming 2 games.
DAYUM!! GOOD EYE MAN!
My favorite thing about MW3 is that on my first play through when I was about 11 I didn’t know that WW3 just started so when it did the whole WW3-MW3 thing I was extremely confused when it went straight from MW2 to MW3.
I think you didn't give Yuri enough credit at 9:00. That's not a dog, that's a hyena, which have a jaw pressure strong enough to crunch bones of water buffalo and other giant animals, and Yuri just tanked the bite like it was nothing.
Wait, doesn’t that mean that said hyena should have ripped a significant part of Yuri’s flesh when he just jacked away his arm from its mouth?
@@co7769 100%, but I guess the guy is just built different
@@PartiallyDeafBoi Damn Yuri you are a badass.
just watched your mw2 video an hour later you drop this perfect
I``m so glad I stumbled upon your channel :D It`s such a breath of fresh air amongst all the negativity on youtube, although some of is funny.
Keep up the amazing work :)
7:21 only counts for the reboot timeline, not the original games, if that was the case bo2 would have a very different story after the events of the original mw story.
I always loved watching Makarov hang there and think back to Expendables 3 when the villain is like "What about the Hague?" and Stallone just says "I am the Hague."
Was waiting for this. Keep it up man 👍👍
Damn! The mention of Vasili almost wants a GamingWins for Curse of Strahd or DnD modules in general! Great vid as always
I’ve been running Curse of Strahd for a year and made Vasili his own NPC as someone who wanted to over throw and replace Strahd but not ally with the players. An EGA about a module or some dnd stuff would be absolutely crazy fun idea.
@@GamingWins That'd be totally wizard! Heck, I'd love seeing all the little nooks and crannies you got into
A proper COD game and the last actual great COD game. 11 years ago I remember getting home and playing this game for the first time, did the first few campaign missions and played some of the multiplayer. It was beautiful. This game, along with MW2 hold a special place in my heart. Everything about them was great. Amazing campaigns with brilliant story writing and voice acting. Great miltiplayer with extremely fun maps, weapon variety and killstreaks and really funny lobbies. These things no longer exist within COD games nowadays, which is why I haven't bought COD for many years. But I'll always remember those fun days on MW3/MW2. They were perfect.
Can't believe that Frost's reaction during the door trap wasn't counted, dude has a mission and just like sandman he wants it completed.
Delta's (Team Metal) sacrifice at the end of the mine mission is surprisingly emotional and also not talked about as much, especially if you've been immersed in the campaign. Sandman wasnt the most charismatic character, but he's a modern warrior and competent leader and reliable teammate, and you literally fought in the trenches with him in WW3, so there's an attachment there from a player perspective. You (Frost) and Sandman fought through hell on the frontlines of WW3 just to accomplish your objectives for the greater good, but you're the only one that made it back home.
Not just a dog but a hyenas jaw. More powerful.
ONE thing you missed. They named the 'Hunter Killer' Mission after the hunt for the red october, or a different russian sub, and Delta nowadays has that as a title. Just wanted to share that. Oh and they boarded a submarine. Yeah.
11:17 price sounds like boba fett when he said “look familiar” and I love it it’s makes him more harass then he already was in my opinion
Bit of a correction on the BO and MW timelines being canon with each other. So far, only Black Ops 1, Cold War, Modern Warfare 2019 and Modern Warfare II are confirmed to be within the same universe. Black Ops 2's 1980s missions and Vanguard MIGHT be canon, but no hard confirmation. The old MW and BO timelines were kept separate from each other. Other than that, I love these videos :)
I remember staying up late at night, playing the survival game mode with my dad whenever I’d go to his house as a kid. We’d always get stuck when the juggs showed up, and the dogs always scared us shitless, I remember towards one of the last times we played we finally managed to take out the first time a jugg showed up, only for us to lose to the next set of them. I never have been a huge fan of CoD, but this game is one I remember fondly.
"Good one team, that´s one for the books"
"Easy day overlord, Out"
Those 2 lines are FUCKING AWESOME. Balls of steel and all. It´s just like they are doing a daily chord, not like the whole world destine was in his hands.
9:50 casually commits war crime
I loved the mw trilogy. I played them growing up and being a stupid kid I skipped ALL cutscenes. I had no idea what was going on in the trilogy, but it was still so fun. Watching these breakdown videos explaining the story in detail is a lot of fun as now I am able to understand more deeply how tragic these stories can be. But god were they a blast to play and revisit. Kinda wish I still had my 360.
Personally I always felt Yuri was doing his best to work with TF 141. He was a true patriot to his country but when he saw how Makarov was becoming and what he was willing to do to spread bloodshed around the world, Yuri wanted to stop it. Even after Price found out about his background Yuri was still loyal to the very end.

My favorite moment was the nod to CoD2 with the mention of vasili
I remember the ceiling breach, the last mission, Soaps death, and the day 1 update to my 360 most of all 😅
Also falling in love with the FAL and going prestige 3 times, my all time high for the accomplishment in multiplayer. Special Ops were goated too back in this day
Mw3 is my favorite campaign. Everything felt so desperate.
I replayed this a month ago and let myself be immersed by the game. There were so many, "oh fuck" moments too.
And Dust to Dust is my favorite COD mission ever.
People might find it dumb but I kinda like when characters from later games are actually revealed to be present during the events of past games. If written well I feel like it makes sequels much more connected.
I think every character in this series (that survived this far) gets their badass moment. Sandman is well sandman. Price has so many. Yuri shoots several guys while holding back a hyena. Even nik gets his moment. Getting to initiate the compound raid in a hind with an epic "missiles away"
That little girl really had an explosive personality.....
Mw3 was my first cod I ever played looking at the story and I remember playing multiplayer splitscreen with my brother I have some great memories from this game
18:02 good subtle detail there is the showcase of the different mentalities of these groups. While the 141 is a special ops team which believe in "No Man Left Behind" the Rangers believe that No Individual is bigger than the Mission. So Price is demanding the Helicopter go back down to rescue Sandman and co. While Sandman and co. don't even hesitate to stay behind and die so the mission can be a success.

appreciate the love for mw3, i started playing cod during mw2 but mw3 was the game where i actually learned how to be good at multiplayer. i personally never had an issue with mw3 being so similar to mw2. i like that they took a lot of what was good from mw2 and removed some of the bad like one man army n00b tubes and explosives just being ridiculous in general, while adding the strike package system which i was a huge fan of (especially specialist, although the stealth bomber being a support streak was pretty dumb imo). campaign for mw3 was good as well although i do prefer cod 4 and mw2 campaigns, but will definitely give a playthrough of mw3 again when i get a chance!

My best memories with MW3 was the 1v1s and 2v2s on Erosion and Aground, I played there so much, so many memories, I even remember how a person helped me get gold camo on my acr, because the weapon can level up from lvl 30 to 31 with headshots only, so he helped me get those headshots and i still remember it to this day, even after like 8 years.
This game brings so many more memories with all my childhood friends endless nights playing split screen coop , spec ops etc it was just joyful and had so much content I spent alone in survival like 60-70h with friends good times :)
I have greatest connection with this entry out of the whole series. Love is and it’s my favorite.
I remember my stepdad getting me this game and a ps3 when it came out, and had him help me set it up on our 50 inch tv back then. He was a vietnam veteran.😂❤️ i miss that man
MW3 is genuinely underrated in all aspects 🙏🙏🙏
This game reminded me a lot of my first ever call of duty game, that cod 2 big red one. That game has you go through so much hell and lose so many friends. You lose your captain, the same guy, 3 times, the last one for good. You lose pretty much all your squadron except one guy by the end of the game all in just 13 missions and I honestly loved every mission. And it was on a GameCube of all systems. gosh I miss that game. Regardless, MW3 and Big Red One have similarities that hit me on both games. Losing Soap was like losing Brooklyn in BRO, except Soap's was drawn out and Brooklyn was just mortared to do death, but you could see his him running knowing he didn't have a chance of surviving. honestly if you haven't played Big Red One I do recommend it as its a very good game even for COD.
Who else here love destroying those high killstreak with emp?
Lmao I get yelled at lots of time, I wish they brought back the support killstreak though
"Russia will take all of Europe even if it must stand on a pile of ashes"

Those end credits never fail to make me bawl my eyes out, man
I just realised that you only get the objective completed text in the last mission when Makarov stops moving. Just adds to the overall chills us players feel, as if we know for sure that Makarov was dead and the war was over, but at the expense of Price’s closest friends Soap and Yuri, and the chilling realisation that the only survivors of the 141 crew were Nikolai, Price, and his good ol’ cig
