Im getting a 212 put on mine tommorow. They seem to be really good engines.
they're pretty solid. and you can really crank them up with mods.
You should get a stage 2 or stage 3 kit.

wonder how you didnt get pulled over lol....I can barely make it out of my driveway without a cop looking at me...how fast you think you got up to without a govenor?
no clue, I drove around a whole season no problem and even took it 26 mile round trip just to see if I could lol. Somehow never got stopped. 44mph was the fastest it ever got on a flat surface.

@@stevehorton3900 I don't recall the sprocket size but the clutch was just a standard centrifugal clutch. The carb was a rejet kit I got from gopowersports.

i have the same pipe as you, but i put a tarp over the engine while the pipe was still hot so it burned onto the pipe which makes it look ugly

44mph was the fastest but it doesn't like holding full throttle like that lol seemed to not mind 40 though.

@@coldfrontrecords101 bypass the oil sensor. when oil sloshes around in an engine because its attached to a bumpy bouncy gokart frame, the sensor does not get enough oil and causes a shut down that usually lasts about 3-5 seconds.
@@acekaterman9179 agree. Our drift trike would cut off every time we threw it into a slide. Disconnected oil sense and all good

what gear ratio do you have on that kart? Trying to figure out how fast my mini bike will go with a 45 tooth rear chain ring.
speedy mountain it depends on the size of ur clutch also
@@coledesautel354 also depends on tire size, weight of the machine, weight of the rider and any upgrades that may or may not have been done to the engine.
I don't recall what size sprockets I had on it. I sold it awhile back.

How do you take the gov off a 5 house Briggs and what would it do
A. You shouldn't remove the governor on a likely vintage briggs without a billet flywheel at minimum.
B. Removing the governor safely and correctly will keep your RPM from being limited, gets you from 3400ish rpm up to around 4500ish before your valves float.
C. If you bypass instead of removing a governor, or dont upgrade your flywheel it could quickly result in catastrophic failure, flywheel can grenade and send shrapnel into you.
taking off the governer makes it faster

It was just a 12v light bar i got on amazon for under $20.

how did you hook up your lightbar?
I had a motorcycle battery that I would recharge with a wall charger. Wired a switch to turn it on and off to the control panel to the right of me. Got the lightbar on Amazon with mounting hardware for $20

That was a close call. Maybe add a mirror so you know whenever an asshole may be approaching.
Does the valves float at this high rpm? And the flywheel doesnt explode?
Flywheels don't explode. The magnets on them can become unglued.
Yes. The valves float. I put 22-pound springs in mine so they float at 8-9 thousand RPMs but I usually keep it below 6 thousand RPMs.

Nope, you can see the live axle briefly in the beginning of the video, and it pulls WAY to well to be a dead axle.
I think he welded the dif for awd,adds at least 5 horse power
