LFA is not understanding that good plastic surgery is undetectable
it's more important to look strong tough and capable than "pretty". I think a lot of girls will say they want you to do your eyebrows or whatever. And sure if youre a slob with centipedes over your eyes and do your brows youll look 1% better. But you wont get that visceral sexual attraction that you get from being a rugged looking tough strong dude. It's the "vibe" you have to portray, that masculine energy.
It's almost the same for girls. It's like a girl who obsesses over make up and designer clothes, and plastic surgery. Sure she might get hit up for sex, but she will get stomped on by an innocent feminine fit girl-next-door type without make up in a sundress. Because she exudes feminine energy.

What I think LFA misses is that there’s diminishing margin returns with a lot of looks maxing. Shaping your eyebrows will objectively make you more attractive. Whether it’s worth the effort is questionable. Most people would be better off spending that time on their business or working out or practicing social skills. It’s much better to have 7’s in several categories than a 10 in any one category.
i think he touches on that point in the video. at the end of the day, time used to be more attractive, is mostly time wasted.

But, I think most people who are obsessed with Looksmaxxing are insecure and desperate for a way to gain attention from women and the world in general. Although I agree that improving your looks can help your life, I don’t think it’s the end all be all.

Never! I just work out and eat healthy. I’ve never really focused on my looks. Every time I’ve tried it’s made me feel awkward and fake. So I just decided to be myself.
Hi LFA, It depends what you mean by looksmaxxing. lose fat, get a good haircut, dress well, tone up your muscles, look after your skin, good facial hair management... why not? Things that get weird are guys doing the meewing stuff and going off for plastic surgery and wearing makeup. Also I'd say that where the blackpill comes in useful is when it shatters your delusions. I'm older now and I once was a good looking dude who could pull the ladies without trying. But then I got older and fatter, but my opinion of my current self was somewhat based in my past self and as such I slipped into being a bit delusional. My journey to getting real and now losing fat and getting real about things started when I thought wtf why not pay the 25 bucks or whatever it was to Waffles for his rating, and then me getting all pissed off at his rating being lower than I thought I was, then agreeing with him for the most part and actually finally doing something about it. Do you know what I mean? It's like the male version of being a fat women who considers herself to be a BBW and that the guys who don't like her all suck.

So if a woman is attracted to an olive skinned, dark wavy haired southern European/Mediterranean looking guy, she's not gonna just switch to an Asian dude with straight dark hair & pale skin overnight. Looks can be heavily influenced by an environment that's causes mouth breathing that can take someone who would have been a 9 to a 5. Genetics obviously play a big factor but good nutrition and oral facial body posture is at least 80% of your good looks.

I have multiple takes from this video.
1) that unfortunate black pill about your genetics is real. I found out at a young age when I started to workout that I would never have a six pack. My body needed a certain amount of body fat to function, but me eating 4.5k to 5k calories opened the way for me to realize that my potential to build muscle quickly is above average. I went from benching 185 to 260 in 3 months. Many other guys on the internet said it took them years to do that jump.
2) I apply the rule that woman were born to be the pretty ones and men were born to be the leaders/rugged. You can still take care of your face an appearance but spending 1000s of dollars on watches and shoes is not going to make her more attracted to you. I rather go outside with the nice leather jacket, jeans and facial hair than worry about wearing tiege hannley and having the perfect eyes. I know I am not that good looking in the face area, and that is simply something I am born with. I can get a good haircut and go to the gym to increase my testosterone.
I went from looking really young in high school to being a late bloomer in college. It was a blessing in disquise, because it showed me who peaked at 14 to 16 years old and I got more attractive in my 20's.

Looks will get you looked at, and sometimes get you through the door, but girls will eventually test your character as a man or even as a lover. If they find your character is low, you’ll get punished. And tests are harder and more constant to men that are good looking. I can’t tell you that if there is one feature that sort of gives you more character without really having character is the sound of your voice. If you sound like an opera singer (a tenor) it will immediately make you appear like a super manly reliable trustworthy stronger more confident man.
I unfortunately don’t have a very deep voice, that’s one feature I would love to be able to max. Voice maxing. And there’s such a thing but not really possible you just doing stupid like your trying too hard to be manlier.
Try no fap ..... Give it a week or so and your voice will deepen by a few octaves.... Even if it's not deep it will be attractive trust me .......

@@LFA Disagreeing with spefically as a man not investing you're time into looks maxxing. I think it's a worth while endeavor, up to a certain point. Ofcourse don't make it your life, but do what you can to be presentable and attractive. An efficient skin care routine, if you're going bald shave it or get a transplant, addressing dental assymetries. These are, in my opinion, easy wins. Take the low hanging fruit and keep rolling to be the best version of yourself.
To your point, don't become obsessed with this. Just address it and keep making improvements. I've recently gone a looks maxxing journey and the results are noticeable. Before woman would often pass me in the street, now I often catch them staring at me several times a day. Ofcourse my life isn't about validation from the the opposite sex, but its doesn't hurt either.

If someone wants to play the dating game, you gotta be the best possible version of yourself, if you want to not only pull but retain chicks. @renegade2853 good point, but I do think if you're smart enough you can learn and get better with experience. I probably went from a 95 social IQ in high school/college to guessing 110 or 115 now. I had a 135 test IQ when I was tested during school for reference. I've put a lot of social IQ pieces together over the past 10 years I was painfully oblivious to in my teens/early 20s. But maybe that was just developmental and genetics idk.

At the end of the day LFA speaks the harsh truth. The reality that a lot of men don’t want to face. If you are a guy trying to win over a woman who is genetically superior to you, by doing superficial things to your self. All you’re doing is showing that you’re insecure about yourself. The most genuine attention/choosing signals I get at the gym for instance, is when I show up with a basic ass old outfit, untamed beard, hair doing whatever, and bags under my eyes. Why?? GENETICS and CONFIDENCE. If more men just stayed in their lanes and went after women who match their own genetics. We wouldn’t have this clownery out here.

I enjoy your videos, but I disagree with this one. Improving my looks has most definitely improved my life not just in dating, but pretty much every other way. Pretty privilege does not just apply to women. I’ve indeed got so many opportunities because I do my best to make sure I look as best as my genetics will allow. A well put together man, who looks amazing will demand respect from anyone around the world.

Maximizing your genetics is just more leverage in a man’s arsenal to help him along on this game called life. I want to clarify that I’m NOT talking about artificial changes like surgery. I’m talking about lifting weights, getting regular haircuts, being fashionably mindful, prioritizing nutrition, and not neglecting skin care. If you have to seek constant approval from others, that is vanity. Self contentment comes from within. And part of being an adult, is that you no longer need to have external approval. As you get into your 30s and 40s, looks matter even less imo dealing with other men. I personally know a few guys who were Chad or Gigachad in their early 20s who later got into drugs and booze on their roads to nowhere. One of those guys is dead. Another is in and out of the joint. Needless to say, all that superstar social dominance those guys had 20 years ago is mostly gone. They still have a halo effect to some degree. But that empty halo doesn't mean an eighth of what it did when they were 20.

The entire argument has a clear Achilles tendon: you are creating your own very specific definition of looks maxing based on the content you have consumed.
I find it impossible to disagree with you, it makes perfect sense as long as your definition of that shit is standard and widely accepted. Is it possible that term is used in other ways? Is it looks maxing to exercise, build a wardrobe, get a haircut that suits you and invest in hygiene?
Also, what if you got some shitty acne scars and your face is kind of long because your mom smoked, never took you to the doctor for your allergies and you breathed through your mouth throughout the formative years of your facial structure? You could've been good looking, but poor parenting screwed you over. Same can be said about dysfunctional eating habits installed by parents.
So there is a degree of vanity that can be justified rationally as "reclaiming the opportunities your parents took away from you" or slt. Some of these things are not thoughtless compulsive actions taken by insecure men without a drop of resilience in their bodies. Some cosmetic procedures can be justified or even be necessary, mostly if it is something you can actually change.
I just wouldn't assume people trying to improve their looks are reacting to external pressure. They could be so dissatisfied by what they look in the mirror, their own inner dialog is enough incentive to do it.
There's a huge difference between a battle scar and an acne scar, which you out of most men should see clearly.

I do agree that women are not everything, but the whole looks idea does not say that anyway. But that the respect of other men and literally everyone comes from looks too (looks influence all areas of life, not just women, women are the least of your problems if you have bad looks).
The guy in the last scene actually would greatly benefit from going to 5 to 7.5 no matter if he gets blown out in a specific scenario or a number of them, it doesn't defeat the purpose of making your general quality of life higher (which looks does). Additionally that improvement in looks will actually boost the confidence too by some points due to naturally getting better social feedback.
You didn't make one objective argument as to why a man shouldn't care about his looks. If you had done so, then your video would've been a bit better. However, as a long time fan and watcher of your videos, I do appreciate your take.
As someone who is recently divorced and busy looksmaxxing in all departments, my life and confidence are skyrocketing. This has helped me in all areas of life. I'm getting so much more female attention and I'm sure that I will get another promotion at work very soon. Let's not forget that the halo effect is real, and perception is reality more often than not. People like being around attractive people. I think you're being unknowingly a little bit hypocritical because you're already on the chadlite tier or maybe above. Most men have to get there with looksmaxxing because they aren't born that way. Maybe you need to watch some videos of people who are done with their looksmaxxing so that you can hear their testimonies of how much better their lives have gotten in literally almost all areas just because of looking better. I'm about halfway done and my life is already so much better.

First of all for me personally, I don't even use the dorky language of looks maxing. I do my best with what I have for myself. Why run a van when you can be a Mustang? That's all for me and what God gave me from birth to whatever I can do to make it better. Now, women are a motivator. But a healthy and actually fun and motivating factor. Nothing wrong with that because thats how i feel. But if you are down on yourself and you bodybuild to get women to feel better, that's a different story. There's a difference between wanting to do something and doing something for the wrong reasons.
Here's the problem with genetics. You could look like Brad Pitt but if your under 6', women these days are programmed to not want to be with you(not saying all women). I'm 5'9, good looking guy and never had problem with women cause of my confidence. I even had a gf try to disrespect me when we first met saying "your arms are short" and a bunch of bs. But she still stayed with me for a long time, so she was just reflecting her insecurities on me. I said to her, ur 5'1, wear a cake full of makeup and your talking shit on me? I never tolerated stupidity no matter how attractive the woman was. Kids these days won't express their real feelings because they don't want to "lose" their woman.
