Excellent! I have some home grown plum preserves that would be perfect for these! Tip: use a paper plate over the creaming bowl to prevent splattering: just punch the beater shafts through the plate or cut small openings to accommodate.

I don't know why, but although I love a lot of UA-cam cooking shows, I relax when I see you cook, and when I'm chopping vegetables or preparing food, I calm down!!!! I like cooking a whole lot more now.😊🙏👌 I take that calm feeling to washing dishes, sweeping etc. Thanks.....
If you're in the U.S. most if not all groceries carry them in the frozen food section usually they're stocked near the frozen pies and things. I've made this twice now, it's delicious 😋

Instead of powdered sugar you could also dilute some apricot jam and brush that on the pastry. Makes it nice and shiny.
