Goodness me, I used to live in Leamington until the mid seventies before moving to Holland where I’ve lived for the past 42 years. It brings back a lot of warm memories. I remember the parade distinctly and Burtons, the tailor, just across the road from the interviewer. Upstairs was the snooker room and on the top floor “The court School of Dancing” where I had Ball Room and Latin American lessons. It was run by Chris Clark. I met my first girlfriend there. Fine memories.
Having lived here for 20 years, in my opinion, race relations are very good especially between the white and asian communities. Never seen or heard any racism.
Loving the men having a fight on the zebra crossing at 26 seconds in!!!

Lol that's the real leamington during the 70s and 80s

In the 40s, 50s and 60s Leamington also welcomed a lot of Irish people too. It's still not a bad place to live.

just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it isn't there
@@brooklyn23896 this is true, and of course there’s covert racism. Let me rephrase that, never seen or heard any overt racism.
Ting boys are coming to Leamington more than ever before and it will lead to the eventual Coventrification of Leamington.
