I'm going to be posting on UA-cam selected previously locked Patreon videos that are approximately 1.5 (one and a half) years old. They are early Patreon videos and not of the same quality or length of the videos I'm producing now on Patreon or UA-cam. This is one of them :) Many, many thanks to my patrons on Patreon for enabling me to keep going - bless you all.
Some of the topics discussed on the 'blah blah' towards the end of video, because of the upload date, may no longer be relevant.
This weekend, Sunday 24th, 4:30 pm GMT Time - I'll be hosting my first ever livestream exclusively on Patreon! Looking forward to a real time chat with members :)
I'll be posting the day before on Patreon a link to an event calendar I've created, where members can find out exactly what time it will be in their part of the world.

I remember reading about this from an early 1950s copy of Fate magazine I found in an old inherited suitcase when I was little. I've always remembered it. (There was also a copy of a 1933 Good Housekeeping edition with a mind boggling ad for Lysol disinfectant and it's recommended use as not only good for cleaning floors but as a feminine hygiene product! Another kind of obsolete (and horror filled) oddity, indeed!)

Don't judge them - just be glad that we didn't live at such a time :)

I always enjoy the background sounds and the little fluttering of movements in the videos. Thanks for taking time to add them. This is a fascinating story and I've watched other videos on YT about these "time slips". A story like this from the 1800's when events were not speeding around the world like in today's mass media, I can tend to believe them easier. People who claim these time slips have returned to their current year and time. If Mr. Worson truly haf this occur, I wonder if he fell into a bad slip or he somehow could make the choice to stay there. Great story Oddie!

There is also a story about a man that just "appeared" in New York City (I think) in the 50's. He was dressed from the 1800's and had money and other things in his pockets from the 1800's that looked brand new. He ended up passing away from a heart attack thought to be brought on by shock. So, you have one man running in the 1800's who vanished and another man (or perhaps the same) from the 1800's who appeared 100 years in the future. Interesting, indeed.

Very sad and tragic story. I have heard of other similar accounts that happened to people. I am certain those that were there when the person disappeared before their eyes were left forever seriously affected if not somewhat broken and traumatized, for that is something that cannot be rationalized to most people, especially explaining it to law enforcement. I don't know what the the closest thing to call this except an opened wormhole to other dimensions. I do enjoy learning new historical facts while listening to your silky voice and truly appreciate all your time and effort you put into making exceptional quality channel.

"An Unfinished Race" is a short story by American Civil War soldier, wit, and writer Ambrose Bierce. The story, dealing with a mysterious disappearance of a man, was first published in The San Francisco Examiner on October 14, 1888 and was included in Bierce's collection Can Such Things Be? (1893). Bierce himself mysteriously disappeared in October 1913.

Thank you for another great historical story. The disappearance sounds similar to the David Lang story. A Tennessee man who vanished in front of his family.
Foul play? Or science we don't yet understand?
    Time will tell .
Until that time, Thank you, as always, for your hard work and craftsmanship when making these wonderful videos.

One foolish wish of mine is that you would read bedtime stories in your soothing, expressive voice. I know I'd sleep very well and with sweet dreams after such a treat. Thank you for all you do.

Intriguing story, due to the fact that we do not know specific details concerning the witnesses of this event, it is extremely difficult to determine what they actually OBSERVED. If they were not paying CLOSE attention to the runner, they would not have seen how he disappeared. They would have had to speculate concerning what could have possibly occurred.
IT was noted that they did not see a hole in the ground. Is it possible that he slipped into a hole and the soft surrounding earth caved in over top of him? (Similar to what happens in a land slide.) I really do not know what happened to this man but I tend to guess that there is a logical explanation. However we sooooo ,love to hear about Bizarre Disappearances.
    Thank you for this story.

These disappearances have happened often enough through time that one has to accept the reality of the occurrences. I do believe that there are parallel. Worlds and planes of existence, and that there must be places where they touch at times. So many have happened in plain sight of observers, as this one did, I think it is possible to accidentally fall into a different dimension...and even to get stuck there. It fits so many of the old folk tales as well, where people are transported to the realms of the Fey, or to a different time. There is just so much we don’t yet know about how our universe works that we can appreciate the mysteries of it all.
Great photos on this one Oddie, I loved it, and your hard work really shows. One thing I have noticed is that quite a number of these disappearances happen on roads or paths, possibly there is a factor relating to traffic patterns and levels that triggers the effect. Thank you for this, you made my day.🖤🇨🇦

I don't mind the idea of other parallel dimensions - as long as it's a paradise, but the thought of soul eating creatures with 50 eyes and razor teeth once one flips over...is not so appealing. lol - plus the aforementioned paradise must have quaint inns, fine ales and not forgetting....salt and vinegar crisps :)
Thank you so much Tamarra! I have a great new vintage crime lined up for early next month on Patreon, plus my livestream tomorrow!
I'll forgive you for the typo at the end "you jade my day" ha ha!

ObsoleteOddity I’m laughing...and blaming auto correct, although I’m not quite sure how they got jade out of made lol.
I’m in complete agreement about the need for life’s little niceties in the other dimensions...I’m not up to confronting Cthulhu if I can possibly avoid such encounters, but there must be some alternate worlds where they haven’t screwed things up as badly as we have. A civilized realm would of necessity have good wine and beer, tasty food that doesn’t mess with one’s health, and lots of nice weather and entertainment.
If you should find that portal please let me know so we can tag along on the adventure. Time may even work differently in the other dimensions, you just never know.
I’m looking forward to the next patron offering, and doing my best to be able to join you on the live feed tomorrow. Thank you for taking such good care of us all Oddie, you are the best.🖤🇨🇦

Indeed the auto-correct is rascally critter, if I don't keep an eye on it constantly, it's channelling spirit writing. lol (because it's certainly not what I intended to write!)
I guess we're all going to find that portal eventually, there is no escape....I'll be heading straight to the quaint inn!
Hope you can make it today, but if it's an ungodly hour at your end, I'll totally understand :)
      Bless you Tamarra xx

Oh, this case is similar to that farmer from Alabama that you have featured before. It bugs me what really happened to these fellows. All those those movies about a portal to another time or dimension rushes to mind and cases like this makes one want to believe that there might be a possibility that another dimension, a parallel universe could exist and at certain times and places tears or weakening of barriers occur making it possible for people from our side to cross or get sucked into it. (Sorry that was long) ☺️

I have been busy and haven't been watching for a few months. Seeing one of your offerings once again, I just felt the need to express how much I enjoy your work. I really appreciate you! Thank you.
