A MASSIVE Thank You to INFINITI for making this day possible! Please check them out @infinitieurope

F1 is basically an airplane that is designed to stick to the ground.
So basically nothing like an airplane.
Nop,is a designed car to stay on the ground and not go away flying
It's designed to be stream line through the air but stay on the ground. A plane is designed to be stream line through the air but not stay on the ground so yes your right. Aero dynamics a massive factor in both. I would actually say building an f1 car is harder to build than a plane. How they keep a light 200mph car stuck on the ground is amazing engineering.
A fighter jet! They've often been compared to one another.
@@jamesrobert7155 The comparsion is of the pilots. F1 pilot and fighter pilot need similiar reflexes, decision making and precision. Also the ability to perform under massive pressure.
My only wish before I die is to drive a F1 car.
My too
But it must be a V10 F1 car
@@marekmisztal2542 if they handed me the wheel to any F1 car I'd take it.... But yeah if they gave my an old V10 they wouldn't get it back.
ya me to .. i'm obsess to drive 2003 to 2005 toyota f1. the most powerful f1 v10 engine in that year. it scream endless.
You could do both at the same time.
@@xllexus7159 Yes, once sitting in the tf105 would be awesome.
I loved seeing the emotion in his eyes, he was on the verge of tearing up. He knows just how special that was.
*correction, he was tearing up, he was in the verge of crying
Mr JWW: Doesn't stall the car on takeoff.
Me: Inhales, in satisfaction.
and there are Richard Hammond and Jeremy clarkson who stalls f1 car after practicing in f4,f3,f2 💁🏻♂️, no wonder both say shit about f1
@@masterraceofeverything4504 when have they ever said shit about f1 stalling an f1 car is easy u just have to lightly put ur foot down and it will stall to not stall u have to put full power down so it knows it doesn't have to anti stall
ArbiterXII they always have been saying shit about F1 for years 🤡, and even making fun of f1 drivers all the time but when it comes to drive one they sucked at common things and can’t drive!
What you saying nways ? I didn’t said they said about stalling! They generally make fun of f1 all the time and funny things is i would not stall like them if got chance to drive one! i only mentioned it coz jww dint stall and those top gear jokers did stall with all the 1st class attention and practice.
Right ? I'ts amazing he didn't stall it off the line.
@NovaMatter343 ... would it not make more sense to EXHALE with satisfaction?....🤔
I'm not jealous at all..... ok I am.... ok I'm really really jealous
The only people who are not would be Prius driving, tofu eating hippies^^
Envious not jealous
This is just on another level mate. Congratulations, That’s a dream come true. 🏁
Thanks guys!
@@MrJWW hey how loud was that engine to you with those plugs in your ears and also how well were you able see in front of you??
You drove the car really well too, very impressed.
+1
very slow... very very very slow
he was doing well til he backed off throttle🙄 and again and again smh
dtals auto studio okay mister armchair racer
@@vetr0xervetroxer219 Jealous? Very Trumpish! 😊
I just know that if I ever drove an F1 car, my wife would be right there telling me what I was doing wrong.
Its funny because its true!
😂👌
don't worry. it's only 1 seat bro. unless she sits on top of the car, and then you can brush her away with a swift turn
@@Pwasercan what I mean was from the pit over shortwave.
WiiBox 500 OP meant his wife would be on the radio, in his ear.
“Why can’t you be more like Chad?”
“Can’t you do better?”
“You didn’t brake hard enough into that turn.”
“Why didn’t you get on the gas earlier coming out of turn 3?”
“You better take me out after this.”
“Hurry up, you are so slow out there.”
“They’re all laughing at you, pick it up.”
This is just awesome to watch! We're so glad you got to live this once-in-a-lifetime experience... Congratulations for this dream come true from all of us at INFINITI :)
+INFINITI Europe Thanks so much for allowing this dream to come true it was an INCREDIBLE moment 🙏🏻
INFINITI Europe can i have a take on. Formula 1 too? ;)
INFINITI Europe ......Why no showing of the partnership with Renault F1 in the development of the Q60 Black S Concept. If put in production with the claimed 500 HP, KERS technology and nothing changed on the design. Infiniti will change the game. The Black S concept is designed perfection.
Dear Infiniti, Can one pay for these experience days?
INFINITI Europe I think it was pretty awesome you made this happen Infiniti! Well done. Someone in your marketing department is doing their homework. I do marketing and advertising and I get subcontracted by big companies like yours to come up with great ideas so I recognize smart ones when I see them. Well done again!
Your happiness is contagious
Hearing a v8 engine again, the memories
ayy lmao v10 was where it was at
@@aidenfielding9709 it is actually v8 JAJAJA
@@nicolassanchobarrio7885 i think you read it wrong
When he got on the throttle the first time, hearing that engine scream was amazing. F1 V10 and V8 will always have a special place in my heart.
Is that a time machine? Cuz when you finished you sounded like a 8 year old talking about cars (the excitement). Absolutely beautiful thing to see!
+Yeezy Yeezy 😂👍🏻
WHY DO I SEE YOU EVERYWHERE??
I would like to see his lap after he did a 50 lap stint and really had a good idea of the track. There was 1 part of the lap that looked like an airport.......roads crossing all over the place! If he was fast on xbox ps whateva then he should have had 50 laps minimum before he even tried to push the car. #:)
He sounded like a 13 year old girl after a Justin Bieber concert.

I rode my mountain bike this weekend. It was so fast going downhill.
chefgiovanni bruh... I stole your mountain bike. You’re gonna have to freestyle-walk to work now. Be safe
Ok, but you best keep a watch over your shoulder,
the last guy who stole from me has 9 fingers. Be Safe.
i did too. i crashed twice.
chefgiovanni When you don’t know the difference between (rode and road) I’m surprised you can count to 9......

Wow the graphics and realism is insane

This is what F1 cars are supposed to sound like!
sure but V10s all the way!
F1 stands for cutting edge automotive technology, not for some people's fetish about the sound. F1 cars aren't supposed to sound like anything specific.
@@anujmchitale sure. try to convince more people. =)
@@EndEverAfter Don't need to. The fanbase did and continues to support the sport.
Anuj Chitale don’t get us wrong we still do but don’t lie to me and say nostalgia doesn’t get to you at times. cheers.
Nothing beats your favourite auto vlogger driving a car from your favourite sport. Congratulations James, well deserved!
Scott Bot I thought he got to drive it for free lol, although paying did cross my mind. But I think if you’re rich and can afford 40k quid, this is absolutely worth it don’t you think
"Walking between the Renault Sport transporters, this is what it must feel like to be a F1 driver"
What do you mean James!? you were for that day an actual F1 driver. Huge congrats mate. Awesome video once again.
Driving a formula 1 has always been a dream of mine. Thanks for sharing your experience. A friend of mine a few years ago had gotten a hold of a 1966 GT40 painted with the beautiful Gulf livery. He offered to take me for a ride. Believe me when he hit the gas, I felt the g-force push me into the seat, I heard that V8 open up and the sound filled the cabin, my mind, soul and spirit knew I was in a GT40 and a sense of everything I ever knew and thought about racing was renewed and confirmed, that this is the most exciting sport in the world.
He felt so amazed even he didn't drove too fast, those cars must be fuccin powerful af
Looked and sounded amazing, once in a lifetime! God I miss that V8 sound too....
yeah these days it sounds so bad. :(
If you compair them to the V8's they are.
I miss the v10s
I miss the V12s @18K rpm (you childish millenials)
big fella!!
Congrats James! Amazing experience! Thank you for sharing it
"...to know you sound like that when you're driving..."Totally get it! The sound is unworldly. To be MAKING that sound....ungodly!
Wow James. I just came across this video completely by chance and it made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, what an incredible experience it must have been. You really do convey your excitement levels and the sheer joy and magnitude of the opportunity. Well done and double well done for not stalling it. I have to admit to being very envious.
James, I am so happy for you. You looked like a Natural! No stalling, no spinning just smooth and controlled. I am brought back to the Top Gear episode where Hammond got to drive basically this cars older brother. He had so much trouble with that, obviously they had to make it look dramatic but still. Thank you for sharing the experience!
Scott Bot, not sure what that has to do with this. He is certainly NOT driving a 200hp Formula Renault. He may have driven one of those in the workup to the full F1 car. I think it is plain to see that what he is taking part in would cost significantly more than £3000.
I think Hammond was driving faster than James
Yeah but richard hammond also actually fucking drove the thing over 50
I think Hammond's car had more power, but either way he was actually driving it at or near the limit, while James was safely driving far from the limit, understandably so. It's much easier to be in control when you're well under the limit and braking super early.
It's definitely de-tuned. You can hear it on the back straight at the limiter. There's no way it would be speed peaking at that point. It sounds like they've taken the whole 6 and 7 gears and those power bands out of it.
I went go-karting at the weekend, FML
I F5-ed the Mr JJW's channel all weekend, coul've been go-karting, FML
😂😂😂 you sir, win the Internet today
TFI nothing wrong with that .
There’s no co kart in my country fml
I spent all weekend editing my go karting video, to put it up on UA-cam, only for it to have like 10 views...
Good on ya mate!
I watched you build this channel from Day 1.
You’ve taken this channel to the highest of places in the automotive world.
I wonder what’s next.
That must of been a truly terrifyingly beautiful experience.
You deserve it.
I can't even imagine doing what you did! ! ! The only thing I can say after seeing that is... AWESOME Freaking AWESOME! ! ! THANKS FOR LETTING US RIDE ALONG ...
Thanks for watching!
7:15 James, the engine started, your eyes closed and the realization that what was about to happen would forever change you as a man and car enthusiast sets in. You are living a dream my man and your channel is the best on youtube for sharing these adventures
This is how DREAM COME TRUE. James I personally love your quality content and the adventures you going through, happy you came with your passion in this channel 🙏🏻 i took my passion and started my channel tnx to your inspiration!
I can only imagine what it's like to handle this thing!
one does not simply handle an F1 car
"I just sounded like that when I was driving". That is exactly what I was thinking. I'm extremely happy to have watched you experience that. You even described the post adrenaline headache. Beyond cool.
Flip me man... U just drove a proper NA F1 car... The v8 car sounds that crazy... Imagine the V10... Next level shit!
When u get a Mercedes ad while watching a Renault sponsored video
Tim Kramer lol I got a Nissan commercial
I got Adblock.
I also have adblock.
Tim Kramer I got a Toyota ad
I got Audi.
How you don’t have at least 2 mill subscribers is beyond me. What more could viewers want!!???? F1 is my favorite. Who else has this inside footage and had the chance to drive the best cars in the world. What an experience that’s must have been!!!!!!
I loved your genuine excitement of having this opportunity. Thanks for sharing this with us.
James, you are not a normal person. You are an amazing person. A big fan from Japan..
+artcasillas Thanks for the support!
I can't begin to imagine the high you experienced with this one, man. Truly happy for you, this was amazing to watch!
What an honor to drive an F1 car, glad you had the opportunity and thanks for sharing this experience.🇬🇧
I am blown away by how well you did and how fast you drove!! That was awesome in-car video - thank you.
The Dream 😃 Awesome to watch and see real emotion from a man with passion for his work/play. And god I miss that howl of the V8.
At the end of the ride you expressed that truly. That must have been great!
I drove a 92 Tyrell. No paddle gear change. I had the same emotions as you. Brings it all back
Great job. You made this look easy. Just seeing how much you appreciated the experience was all I needed to enjoy the video.
Well done James! You could tell how much that meant to you! It looked like you might burst into tears and I felt for you too!
It must be so cool to live out one of your childhood dreams! I bet you're glad you did this channel now! Cheers!
PROBABLY THE BEST VIDEO FROM JAMES.
This brought a tear to my eye, to see you valuing this experience as much as you did was just great to see. I, same with you, have grown up watching F1 back in the days with Mika and Michael. It's just emotional as you said
Thank you so much for sharing this. I myself have always loved Porsches and had actually never even sat in one, but was given the chance to drive a GT3 RS on a track in Vegas. It was one of the most exciting and emotional things ever. I will own a 911 someday
Again thanks for sharing
Seems like a confusing track!
I know what you mean. I didnt know which way he was supposed to be going.
Lol
In a normal car I'd have almost stopped to check the GPS at that intersection
As Jeremy Clarkson would say, sad news James is no longer a UA-camr, but has become an F1 driver and on that bombshell thanks for watching good night 😆😆👏👏👍👍
Scott Bot : ok, and you are telling me this why?
Scott Bot ; lol, thanks for the confidence but not at 50, to late for me, maybe you though stay cool buddy
Reading it in Clarksons voice *golden*
Was great to see your reaction and totally understand where it's coming from. I can imagine what a thrill that would be.
It is a pleasure watching you explain everything in such detail, you are by far my favorite car guy to watch.
Thank you ,keep up the good work .
Maybe you should make Q&A video about this video
How many laps did you drive it?
Did you try to really push it at one point ?
Congratulations! I’ve watched your channel for some time, and to see you experience such a dream and overflow with the emotions was fantastic. Bravo
Absolutely brilliant, man! I cant stop grinning. THANK YOU for sharing your adventures with us. Fuel to go out and live my own! 🙌🏼
Just watched this man do something that I long for. Nice one. Bet that was the most epic experience. Wow
I watched this with a huge smile on my face, James! It's amazing to see anyone live out their dream, thanks for sharing even more incredible content - we were right there with you!
This content continues to be the best and most captivating automotive content on the internet. I'm so glad to have seen this channel from the beginning. James you are truly one of a kind and I'm seriously thankful you share and create this amazing content! It definitely takes some serious balls to even attempt to drive something like that!
Your reaction is exactly how I would have reacted!!!! Love it James! The naturally aspirated V12 & V8 is one of the reasons I started following F1. So cool man!!! Thx for sharing!!!
I absolutely loved watching this. You've inspired me so much. I'm now officially more car crazy than ever.
What an awesome experience that must have been for you James. Well done and thanks for taking us with you!
"The last of the V8s..."
Flashes back to Mad Max LOL
It's a V10
Fab video, your emotion transcends right out of the screen, made me emotional watching this.
Congratulations for living out your dream! Truly happy for you! wish you all the best😊
Thank you for the experience! Beautiful! Very happy to see you enjoying it.
How does regular driving feel after such a different experience? Is it a mind bending change of what you perceive as "fast" or is it a case of having to re-adjust?
Loved the video as always James, massive fan. You're living the dream dude!
jordan Ichen if you ever wanted to diminish your sense of speed i suggest a ride in 300L Aerobatic airplane, the 12Gs are real and crazy out of this world!!
Everything will feel slow
After junior formula cars like the Renault he drove first, regular cars feels like absolute boats in my experience. There's nothing street legal that can touch them in overall visceral experience and stopping power/handling.
Just slightly more powerful go-carts will make a hot hatchback feel like you're driving a 20 story hotel around in comparison.
bob g I used to be a car guy, I still enjoy nice cars hence why I'm here.
But once I got my motorbike licence and rode a litre bike for the first time any road legal fast car now seems just mildly fast.
Sleepingdragon1 yeah I have a Ducati M1200S and bikes like it are the poor man's supercar for sure, lol. Formula cars are a whole different beast though, the lateral G's they can pull in corners, the G's under threshold braking, the balance and stability under trail braking, it's fucking insane. Plus the fact that the engine is bolted direct to the frame directly behind your back with only a piece of sheet metal separating you and you're sitting an inch off the ground...I could keep going, needless to say it's something all petrolheads have to experience.
Thank you, James for sharing your experience with us (your audience). Keep up the great content.
11:01 that look of pure joy on his face is absolutely priceless.
Thats the dream!!!! Best video, you really nail this one, manage to make me feel the excitement!!!
it looks like a documentary....well done James!
Been watching for a while. Seeing your emotional response after driving the F1 got my subscription and first note bell I've ever hit. Go JWW!!
Ive been driving for years, and driven some crazy fucked up roads during fucked up conditions in fucked up cars at fucked up speeds.... but maaaaaaan ohh maaannn that was scary. Driving that fast will scare me no doubt... your driving was IMPRESSIVE, i Admire how great you did it, Respect! i can only wish to be behind the wheel of one of those beauties
One of the coolest experiences I’ve seen in a car vid, well done!
When F1 sounded like it should have...awesome video as always
Yep, now we have Dyson vacuum F1

..whatever, I just got my F1 2017 on Steam, so I m pretty much a race driver!! XD
Wow James...next level everything 👍 These two films have been great and really bought us along on your journey. Most impressed you pulled away without the Anti-Stall kicking in 😎 Once again raising the bar for us lesser mortal UA-camrs to aim for...BRAVO 👌
Fantastic video James!! To see you appreciate it that much made it great to watch. Keep up the great content 👍👍😀
And yet us lesser mortal UA-camrs somehow understand why James is squeeling like a little girl. Totally justified.
The smile on your face after that drive, raised my spirits to the rafters, lol.
Thanks for sharing that life changing time.

I know it’s late to comment but... you sound like a 10 year old boy...and you know what... that’s fantastic! Absolutely amazing experience I bet, very jealous and the ultimate dream. A one of a kind machine which can produce results and effects only some other machines can match (fighter jets, moto gp bikes etc) but what a day your reaction shows that immediately when you stopped and got out of the car. 10 year old boy reaction - as above absolutely fantastic !
That was awesome.. you are so lucky to have the opportunity to drive that beast . Good on you 👍😊
I just loved watching this. Beautiful video as always. It’s nice to see you appreciate everything you have and get to do.
