I honestly need to petition the Canadian government to ban Tyler. Soros was so far out of my circle, I had to legitimately do actual research to even comprehend wtf was happening, This dude said i was funneling tax money for drugs, which is what confused me, I thought he was implicating me in some massive criminal conspiracy but nope, just old regular antiemetic mind control apparently. What really perturbed me is his insinuation I was funneling Canadian taxpayer money anywhere, I don't even got no purpose to my actions, bros mental faculties super friends me into a literal funnel.
There's video of people from that island eating those kinds of animals though. I watched some of them earlier. The bottom line is, those people from that island shouldn't be there. There was 60k people already in Springfield, & then they dumped another 20k to 30k more on top of that. That's madness. How does a town like that have enough jobs to sustain that population? & where's all the white supremacy? I thought the country was systemically racist, & controlled by white surpremacist? Where are they?
Actually , if you watch his fully video he interviews both sides Haitians and whites as well. Tyler Actually does pretty good reporting. His point was its more a a fact that times are hard for everyone its not the Haitians fault, the government is not helping their people. Springfield resident here. I knew the second trump said that, it was total nonsense. I worked at a health center for many years, met and worked with many Haitian people. Even when you hear someone say, "Well, I'm sure it's just a cultural thing," in a sympathetic way, it's just like ?????????

The sad part is that it's true.
People in these western states love to use inhumane traps when fur trapping, like leg hold traps and bear traps. The trapped animal suffers for long periods of time, often hours long. They'll even attempt to bite off their legs to free themselves. Not only that, but non-target animals like pets will get caught in these traps. And it's all still legal in Texas and other states.
But these self-proclaimed "animal lovers" will never talk about that because it doesn't fit their racist narrative.

I feel like when the RW does this, they're just zooming in on it as a more polemic way to express disdain for immigrants and prisoners and say they don't deserve any services at all. Before the trans angle was added, we saw this in my state with prisoners and dentistry - prisons actually would fix the bad teeth of prisoners, because, you know, prisoners walking around with massive tooth and jaw infections creates all sorts of poor practical and humanitarian issues in prison - and people in the community would complain that prisoners were getting dentistry working people couldn't afford. So the fix was... the prison started using dentistry students to give the most minimal level of care, say pulling teeth instead of doing root canals, that kind of thing. meanwhile, working people are no closer to affording it.
It's almost exactly like "people on food stamps buy steak with them" claims, or any other version of "why should the poor have something the middle class doesn't" - well, you're correct, angry person, BOTH groups should have that thing, which doesn't come about by taking it away from the group on benefits, it comes about by extending the benefits upward.

I watched the video. I thought it was good. It showed how ridiculous the pet rumors were. However, there were real problems that exist that aren't being addressed because the default is racism. Landlords taking advantage of Haitian immigrants, language barriers, car accidents. I think it is legitimate to show that when a large population of people with a different culture comes into an area in a relatively short period of time that there are going to be problems.

I saw an interview with a factory owner from Springfield and he said that his Haitian workers are better as they are punctual, hard working and not on drugs (apparently that town has a huge problem with drug addiction). if you look into the actual timeline of this, this part of ohio got SLAMMED by the 2007 housing crisis and basically reached out desperately to get people to move there to work.
those outreach efforts were ongoing when the earthquake hit Haiti in 2010 and the hurricane in 2012. which means MOST of the Haitian tps community in Springfield and places like it moved there during the last obama years or the early trump years. this was before harris was even a senator, it was when she was a DA in california.

I’m putting my tin foil hat here but I believe someone who manages Trump’s campaign organized this from top to bottom.
What I mean by that is that it’s not natural for stereotypes to rotate across ethnicities but if someone wanted to use a ethnic group as scapegoats to rally against in a country where people are familiar and distrustful of the usual stereotypes then glueing other people’s stereotypes on top of Haitians makes perfect sense.

As a Haitian woman who was born in Port-au-Paix ,Haiti came here when I was seven.I was raised in Miami I was bullied by American kids simply for being Haitian.I grew up knowing not only did other Caribbean people like myself hated my people but Americans as well.Its seriously Haiti vs Everyone all over again.Its truly disgusting it’s still a crime to be Haitian & proud.

Springfield, OH has been a regular feature in the WSJ with praises for the Haitians, for how they dropped addiction rates, changed a culture of truancy and sloppy work, made multiple manufacturing plants reverse their decisions to shutter, and actually caused a drop in crime per capital due to their presence.
Somehow this is worse than when he came up to Vancouver Canada assigned a whole new goal and parameters for our safe use and harm reduction program of handing out pipes, and needles for no cost. How it really happened is I have a brilliant friend who is a doctor specializing in public health in Vancouver and he came to me with data and idea that if the people downtown could get unlimited and safe use supplies, not only could he reduce violence, the end cost to the public healthcare system would get reduced by 10+ million, due to a drop in the rates of HIV, hepatitis and other diseases. He didn't even understand that I could take over a medical supply manufacturing pipeline and basically side-step the government's cost objections and was bemoaning that the government didn't want to be seen providing any kind of comfort to addicts.
Do you want to know how much of genius this man is? Since the ninth grade he's gone and implement public health measures and works in underdeveloped areas, that are still functional today, and actually have grown organically. This dude legitimately the lovechild of Paracelsus and Jesus man. Anyway when he brings these ideas to my ears, I just do my best to listen and see if I can enable him. He was so right that the BC government took over the supply and funding of the safe use supplies, on some "thank you for the emergency supplies whilst we had a party line grid lock."
I never once spoke to them and honestly have the means and thinking capacity to supply safe use stuff to a city where I also work and reside and the whole drop in actual crime like robberies and stuff, on top of the effective elimination of bloodborne diseases from dirty needles, already was a no-brainer. Literally the first non austerity, political theatre type suggestion for saving money on health care was this one in about three years. I DON'T KNOW GEORGE SOROS AT ALL BRO. LIKE WTF THAT TYLER DUDE ON MAN. SUCH NONSENSE JOURNALISM.
The actual goal of the safe use program was lessening the burden on the healthcare system down stream. Super effective in this case. This dude said we were a failed city state spiraling then goes back to his home city which statistically per capita puts him at a risk of 21X mine in Vancouver to being the victim of a violent crime.

i'm so glad you spoke about the issue of americans/western folk seeing more humanity in their pets/animals than they do in other humans. over the years as i've gotten farther and farther away from "animal rights" communities, nothing has become clearer than that. and it ties directly into that "unique intrinsic quality" people somehow believe they have, that they have equal empathy for humans and animals (they Don't lol) which leaves them uniquely suited for guardian/stewardship of the environment

This reminds me of that lady from the Chimp Crazy documentary saying she loves her pet monkeys more than her own son. Theres something about folks with that mentality almost consistently turning out to be... not the best people to others. It makes me think one thing they like about animals is that they'll never judge or try to hold them accountable. Another is that they can mold pets to be extentions of themselves. That "unique intrinsic quality" is just having pets reflect back to them whatever they wanna feel about themselves, so to me it's indicative more of some type of narcissism than anything else.
I'm all for animal rights, they are consistently being abused and hurt in way too many ways that's still somehow acceptable
...but the fact that I've seen way too many animal activist remain silent when it came to humans being abused and mistreated is disgusting. People online some years ago reacted more badly when it was some woman throwing her cat than to the vile amounts of racism on online platforms. Of course there was the bonus fact that she was a woman, which made it easier to hate her, but I don't see how both can't be severe issues-one with the treatment of animals, the other with the "rationalization" of discrimination.
They call us animals but have more respect and compassion for actual animals than they do for us.
