CSM ARE FINALLY HERE! Chaos Space Marines vs Ultramarines Warhammer 40k Pariah Nexus Battle Report

Space Marines vs Chaos Space Marines, Brother vs Brother, Good(ish) vs Evil. The long awaited debut for the Chaos Space Marines studio army is here! This week we have Tom and Dan facing off with a mirror match of sorts, can Vashtorr and his cronies take down the noble sons of Guilliman? Or will the heretic be put firmly in their place and sent back to the warp. Lets find out!
In the Chaos corner, Dan fields our freshly painted CSM force (freshly painted model syndrome, tick). Vahstorr the Arkifane leading up masses of cultists, legionnaires, terminators and Warp Engines. We've had a couple of practice games and may have taken some liberties with some of the rules - but hopefully we do catch them later in the game!
In the blue corner, the Ultramarines are back. It's not often we have the vanilla Space Marines on the channel, but we thought the opportunity to try and take vengance on their fallen brothers was too good to miss! Canis Rex makes HIS debut backing up plasma interceptors, infiltrators, terminators, dreadnoughts and a techmarine vindicator tag team.
It's a classic showdown, 2000 points of Pariah Nexus Warhammer 40,000 10th Edition. Let's see if Dan can keep up his win streak for another week! Hey great video just wanted to point a few things out. Siege host only works against ranged attacks and you can split melee weapon attacks even if its one weapon

Oh man, we've been misplaying that melee weapon attacks rule all of 10th Edition! Thanks for calling us out! I think we spot the siege host ruling a bit later in the report, Dan was a bit mortified about getting it wrong - new army syndrome! Cheers for watching.

Don't think you can rotate Ion Shields with Canis if you've not playing knight detachment with those stratagems.
