I personally think this is far FAR more consumable and easy to follow compared to the POV ADHD hand cam that they had prior. But I do think they should take a moment to do fun camera sweeps and up close shots in-between turns to sell the ongoing action of the table.
I really do miss the old style of filming. I don't care much about what the presenters look like. It's also takes me right out of the game when one of them awkwardly stares Into the cameras. Hopefully one day they bring back more hand camera footage.
This is quite a fitting match up that makes the most sense lore wise. The First Heretics Vs. The Anti Chaos Legion. These two legions absolutely despise one another.
Jokingly we did the Dark Pact checks before resolving the attacks, that way we got it out of the way incase we forgot! However it turns out that’s how Dark Pacts just work!! However, we didn’t realise this and attacked with models that should have been dead!

I totally missed my opportunity to give Luka something Word Bearers related when I was up there playing against him in Blood Bowl. I'll need to bring something for him next time I decide to make a visit
They definitely needed a nerf. Like you said B+ maybe A-, that's too good....for Chaos Marines. Gotta keep Chaos Marines being a jank army you have to squeeze to get solid runs out of. Kind of like having chaff cultists holding objectives and being able to at least shoot. Cause you're definitely going to take a worse Guardsmen squad and use it as a melee unit. Makes total sense >.>
Nice game. But why had Josh's legionaries 2 heavy weapons in squads of 5? thought we could only do 2 extra weapons on full 10s? Can we do something now? and can we doble up on weapons again? My book is on the way, but still some days away.
I can finally work out my Word Bearers list, but i think the Chaos cult one feels more Word Bearer that Packtbound Zealots due to some relics for Dark Apostles, and a highly unbalanced army with a focus on infantry. How many damned units...yes
LOVE the Night Lords force! Beautifully painted, great to see the Nostromans get some love. The only thing I'd love to see on the channel is a crusade of some kind, but that's just me. Long-time fan, keep up the good work guys!!!
There is options for traitor guard squads in Chaos Space Marine armies now. No separate faction yet, but it could be a very distant possibility in the future (dark Mechanicum too).

While the new setup feels very professional, I must admit I miss the camera shots close to the minis, it feels we are far from the action

Possessed did not need the nerf. They are expensive and their normal attacks dont do much. They went from a B+ maybe A- unit to a C+

I dislike non 2000 points games for 40k. The game is blaanced around 2k points not some random other number.
