Would take away the "let's get a reaction" factor if you simply flew around the set without infringing airspace etc and DIDN'T engage the security people. If they decide to approach you then it doesn't come across as deliberately goading anyone.
But it's more courteous to tell them prior. not for a "let's get a reaction" but just to show you are not trying to be a problem. but you will find in some cases like this where you do get the occasional grumpy security guard that thinks they are covered by a restricted air zone or something that will try and get the police involved but the drone guy covered his rear by doing all due diligence first to make sure that he's legal. Always loads of new content every time I check in 😎💯👍🏼 I cant keep up 😂 looking forward to this one 🍿
You seem far more interested in the people there than the studios. I guess you can’t antagonise the studio building…
Your drone was the the most realistic actor on the set for a long time.
juvenile filming, causing disruption is childish
this flying is also illegal. this is against caa rules , overflying people and property is illegal , that has nothing to do with the permission he got from atc. that permission only allowed him to fly a drone in the airport zone.
@@justsayin644 educate yourself.. if he has done all his courses and got his certificates, he could potentially be allowed to fly over commercial, residential and industrial buildings and fly closer than 50m to people (all certificate dependent) . And it also depends on the drone being flown, this one is a dji mini, which is below 250g.. you can research the rest yourself..might broaden your knowledge before you cast false accusations about on UA-cam.
Everything you wrote is factually wrong. @@justsayin644

I suppose it’s quite convenient to have the studios in leafy affluent Elstree which will be much closer to where the stars live.
It’s in Borehamwood, not Elstree. Very misleading studio name.
LEGALS
... "its a private road" (it isn't, that is just ownership, not access), "I'll call the police"... (for what crime?)
They do tend to jump aggressively, rather than simply be polite.
It IS a private road. There is no public right of way. If he’s standing there, he’s merely trespassing, however, as he’s flying a drone, he requires the landowners permission to take off from, or land on, private property.
@@drp9542 Define "private road" ... in a legal sense in this scenario. Provide relevant Case Law. thx
@@johnscott4693 I’d recommend doing your own research but the basics are as follows: unless there’s a right of way, the public doesn’t have a right to be on, or pass over, private land.
@@drp9542 that confirms my suspicion - unqualified in Law, a UA-cam warrior (with a chip).
Come back to me when you know the answer, as currently you haven't a clue about anything, let alone be qualified to pass comment on legal matters.
@@philldownes8685 well done. logical. you've researched it. 👏 👏
so jimmy savile did his dirty work at this place TOP OF THE POPS
Top of the Pops was not filmed here but at the Television Centre (TVC) in White City, London.
No they filmed top of the pops at TV center where they do this morning , ant and dic etc , which the BBC sold off and now rents back to itself and itv. Another fiddle.
I bet the police were not even called as they knew he had permission and the BBC doesn't own the sky above their property so they just went back in and just "licked their wounds"
Exactly i think if he got permission. He shoupdnt engage with security just do wat he came there to do and go but he is goading them not good dosent make good wacthing aw a pilot myself rather childish and embarassing to wacth
@@russjam121 if he wasn't trying to be a problem he would of stated from the Bat that he had approval to do so but he sat there arguing his point about how he can do whatever he wants, doesn't care if police get called, quite happy to waste the police time to come out to a pathetic drone call instead of dealing with actual crime..."oh i'll try and show you this" flashes some little text ONCE then refuses to show them again, then states how he only applied in the morning for approval an usually it takes days, so despite them saying yes we have the forms I don't think they said "yes we approve go ahead an fly your toy around" they were just confirming they had received his application... therefore he didn't have approval, also it would be in writing on an email that he has approval not just word of mouth about it was a "phone call"..
the "i'll still take it up" regardless of being told no, just comes across as a self entitled bratt who was never told no as a child imo
“Orf wedesen” ye you nailed it 😆😆😆
You need approval from Elstree aerodrome not the BBC 😅. The restriction isn’t there to protect the studios is it 😂
They don't own the air just the area they are in crazy world 😃
😂🤣😂🤣😂👍
Just past the security office the road on right hand side leading to little carpark infront of the tall building (BBC offices) used to used as exterior shots for Holby City
Thought that seemed familiar. If I’m not mistaken, the set of Holby City was actually the internals of that building.
That office block is called Neptune House. Prior to it being the exterior for Holby City, it doubled up as the exterior of Grange Hill school.
@@aaronm9353 You’re absolutely right. The wards and general interiors of Holby City were housed on the 6th floor. When Holby was cancelled, the sets and props were all removed. The real medical equipment was donated to the NHS and other items such as bedding and linen were given to homelessness charities.
The last time I watched Eastenders Dirty Den was in it.
I'm surprised eastenders is still running, watched it once that was enough.
So how can you comment on something you don't even watch? It's like reviewing a music album you haven't listened to.🙄
Well covered, can't believe people pay their tv licenses to watch K*0b Enders
Even rings the bell to antagonise the guards at the end, what a bell end... Definitely got bullied at school, knows a bit about his rights n uses that to justify winding people up and invading there space, one of these days these people will come unstuck and get sparked out n loose there drone
I was just about to post exactly the same . They will definitely come unstuck one day . Law of averages say so 😅
Their
Sadly after a few minutes this goes down the sad path of the 'auditor' types video where you're clearly looking for an argument. The guy in the HiViz has it sussed, finally, and then as they retreat we see you try to spark up an argument again. Shame, I thought this might actually be more interesting.
He wasn't wrong you do just fly your drone to get a reaction from security. Reading the comments on here none are interested in the BBC or Eastenders so really you just giving drone users a bad name /image. Bit sad really 👍
Everything you just said was wrong. He is well within his right to fly the drone where the law allows. If security reacts to that, that is on security for not being educated on the law. I personally thought the video was quite cool, not everyday you get to see the Eastenders set from above, and I don't even watch it.
Provocative and cocky giving drone users a really bad name. Just for your own bit of pocket money.
I know you do this for money, cant really fault you for that, not having a go either, I have even actually learned the odd thing from some drone choobers, but these videos will just kill it for the rest of us who play ball I think. I also don't think its fair to stop people working, also trying to earn a crust, be it more than most of us will ever see in a lifetime. Now we have to register drones because of that Heathrow airport mystery drone a few years back and so it will go on.
