To the 1960s, maps show the area was all agriculture and the edge of the car park was noted as Farm No. 1 (possibly Reading Corporation?). An Isolation Hospital c. 1910s-1950s was located in the general area of the stadium entrance and car park. 1948 aerial photo of the area also available showing mostly fields and the housing to the east. Tramways, isolation hospital, sewage works west of Whitley Woods may have been part of the Reading Corporation Act, 1914.
As far as I’m aware, select car leasing have helped reading football club with loans to support reading during there financial issues they are going through. Seems like a good company. I’m sure they will also appreciate this free advertisement from you. Great video DJ. 👍🏼

People are knocking the police here (young, look like chess club etc) but they were presumably sent by despatch. The despatch need education. The police were polite, and interested, and seemed like an intelligent bunch rather than the grunts we often see. Nice to see some polite and bright officers for a change, not throwing their weight around. People often say auditors are just out for trouble, but this aptly shows that there is a major education piece with good auditing.
Of course, with all the made up bad press around drones, people are always going to be very suspicious, with guys flying them. I am pleased you are educating them. I had two of the best drones on the market at the time. The phantom four pro plus and an Inspire 1 pro. Obviously, they are both well over the weight limit and the hoops I would have needed to jump through, just to be able to fly them, really wasn’t worth the hassle, so I gave up my hobby that I loved. Thomas, security manger with Virgin Media O2, called the police. Misuse of 999 is a criminal offence and could face up to 6 months in prison and/or £5,000. The officers acted very professional 👍. Cracking video cams those Sony’s. I’ve got the V-160, not quite as powerful a zoom but it really does focus properly every time even on full zoom. 👍
If a person really wants to see through the windows at a confidential or any other meeting they could look in from a mile(s) away with a high powered scope/camera from a direct line vantage point. James Bond told me so..

Great interaction from Graham and to be honest the fact that you and him were having a normal conversation with no hints even of animosity probably made it extremely blatant that there was no issues with what you were doing plus the fact that you immediately showed without being “interrogated” that you were being open and upfront and knew what you were on about would have been even more in your favour with allaying any suspicions created by the twit from VM.
