It seems to me that security in the UK quite frequently consists of people who speak very poor english. It just makes no sense to have theese people in a position where they interact with the public. Also, they seem to have very little understanding of law (perhaps due to language difficulties?) and then they end up trying to enforce whatever their bosses told them without regard to law. Is this sound? Is this a way to have a disposable yet obedient workforce so you as a company can get away with doing bad things by just terminating theese people? Please dont think of this as me having a go at theese people. I am not english myself and have never been to the UK. I dont judge people based on where they come from but rather on how they behave towards others.

If you buy data in small quantities, say quarter of a pound or even 6 ounces, it's very expensive. Better to buy it in bulk packs - at least 5 pounds in weight. Much, much cheaper! 😎
I was getting a great deal from Qatar on bulk lots of data. Unfortunately some regulations stopped me and I lost a whole container of data on pet insurance policies. Oh well back to North Korea for dental records it is 🤣
If you can only afford small amounts don't go for the lower plan with less data for more mony, ask for the bit bucket offer - all the bits lost in transit or dropped at a port out of the line are swept together and put in yhe bucket for a fraction of price even compared to bulk buying.

I would be pointing out to these security staff that they are committing an offence under the Civil Aviation Act by distracting a drone pilot while actively flying their drone.
