They would disregard his opinion in the same way that his viewers should. He's never even seen the camera much less sampled it. In the past, Panasonic has provided amazing firmware updates to fix problems that are found after launch. The G85 he uses first sold with video jitters, stabilizer hissing, and a host of other things that Panasonic tackled quickly. Remember that these new cameras are on Rev. 0.5 firmware, and a lot is going to change for the better with them.
When I discovered this channel a month or so ago, I thought that Kasey was hilarious. I would always come here first whenever I launched UA-cam on my phone. Fast forward to where I am now, and the weird guy act is getting stale. You can only rant about cameras you've never touched for so long before viewers start getting bored. And lastly lets be honest, the cheaper of these two cameras, the S1, will cost close to $3k after taxes. And that's for the body only with no lens. The likelihood of Kasey spending over 3 grand to film his face in 1080p is nonexistent, and that makes the entire point of this video moot.

They should have to watch this through a TV or computer monitor facing away from them. Then, they must be forced to rig up some system to see the image.

Because the S cameras are supposed to target still photographers, and they usually don't like flippy screens. Some videographers will buy it anyway, and then they buy the full frame version of GH5 when it comes out next year or so. That way they may sell two cameras instead of one
@N. D. Not so far fetched in the m43 world they have gh5 for video and g9 for stills. The S cameras are more or less g9 but bigger. Given Panasonics position in the video camera market, I would say that it is very likely that we will see a video centric full frame camera from them soon. I guess they will wait until Sony A7S iii gets out, so they can make it a Sony killer.

UA-cam needs to award Camera Conspiracies a special UA-cam award! This is the best site for all so-called camera fanatics! They need something like this to compensate for their over zealous obsession on defending Sony, Nikon or Canon cameras for any teeny weeny issue.
This video is so full of winning comedy (and truth) that I don't even know where to begin. Sometimes, I link to places in the video that I thought were extra funny, but the whole video was like that, from your absolutely disappointed face right at the beginning, to the board meeting, to "My wife is so beautiful. I just want to show her that." "You loser!", to "You're not gonna buy my book", to being put away for thinking you're recording when you're not, to "You let me down...right in there" and many other bits throughout. Also, there was truly helpful information, such as the lighthouses pulsing in the background. A+ video. Maybe your best yet. The perfect camera would be great to have, but in the meantime, I can at least enjoy this fantastic comedy!

The camera market still didn't adapt to the fact that now there's a huge number of customers that didn't study photography/video and don't need a ton of things that the Pro's do, those things could be sacrificed for IBIS+FF+AF+Flippy

But I too am losing hope. I'm waiting for the bomb ass camera too. I think Sony and Canon are closest atm with Nikon surprisingly close behind. Nikon doesn't have a Cinema line to protect, so they may be our capeless hero. But I pray for an affordable Canon with 1080p 120fps

I'm telling you people, I have no proof, but believe the Camera companies have secretly agreed to not step on each others toes in the IBIS, 4K no crop, DPAF, & full flippy screen departments. It's the only thing that makes sense as to why we can't get one new camera with all these features on it.
I can see the manufacturers sitting around a huge table chanting: "Keep them (us) mean, keep them keen"…

Oh yeah if the focus hunting is bad for microfour thirds camera I can’t imagine what it will look like with a much shallower depth of field that full frame can bring.

All the latest releases from the big camera companies have been so disappointing. So mega expensive and so ridiculously heavy and all lacking in some important way. As a stop gap until they get their acts together... I recommend the Canon M50. £419.00 with the 15-45mm lens. Does the job well.

Setup for you a73, 24mm 1.4, ninja v, and the new SwitchPod, you can mount the ninja on the side and see yourself and have unlimited recording. Then come in and put it on the desk and keep recording.

Pulled out all the stops and used all the tricks in this one. Comedy is hit or miss sometimes, but this one is definitely a HUGE hit... loved it man... keep up the good work.

Autofocus changing lights in the background happens unless you're using cine-lenses or just leaving the manual focus on (and not changing the focal length). As soon as the camera sends a message to a non-cine lens, you will most likely see stange things happening in the background. Also, do any of your videos need such a feature? You usually stay about the same distance from the camera, making manual focus quite usable. Just a thought. Like your videos.
If someone was new to photography and wanted a full frame camera......for photography and a little videos not really vloging.... would the sony a7iii be the best thing going?

But you let it slip into this video, showing the book title, and now we know. Actually, you might like to rename your channel: Casey's Camera Conspiracies or Kasey's Kamera Konspiracies for example. Why? Because your content is excellent and you deserve a little name recognition. When all the bloggers meet at a Sony or Nikon press event, eating all the good food, drinking all the good wine, laughing at the normal folk paying all the money for their lifestyles-of-the-rich-and-famous-bloggers, they greet each other. "Hey Chelsea, hey Tony", "Hey Jordan", "Hey...". And when you watch the videos you hear them say "Who's that one guy? PhotoRec TV? What's his name?" You see? People like to address each other. Also, you can't get invited if you don't clean up your language a little. It won't be hard. Jerry Seinfield said it's more work to make things funny without profanity, but it's worth it. Profanity is the easy way to a punch line.
Look at the names of your subscriptions. My list shows names, except for a few outliers that don't know about how to maximize name recognition to really win the hearts and minds of their viewers. Well, maybe it's Ok. There are some without their names like "The Art of Photography" and "VideoRevealed" but when you visit the UA-cam site you see their names: Ted Forbes and , oh, well, sometimes you have to play their videos to hear their names during the intro like Colin Smith. There are some hybrid names like Matt WhoisMatt. There are one or two with name and title combos like "Mark Galer's Alpha Creative Skills". Anyway, you wrote the music for these videos? You've got it going on! Please keep it coming in 2019 Kasey!
