6d , a7iii , 5dm4 doesn’t matter for a real photographer,u can still take dope pictures and video with any of those camera,at the end it’s more about the skills than the camera
Could robustness be an issue? I drop cameras. Drop 'em and shock'em. I don't mean to, I'm terrible clumsy. Across the years I've dropped Canon 7D, 70D, 80D and 5DMkiii over and over again. Drove off while the 5D MKiii was on the roof of the car at a wedding reception. Busted a lens or two but the bodies have always been fine. A few scars for sure but no operational issues. My brother-in-law dropped his Sony A7III once and it is broken... and that was on the carpet! Some say the IS/Sensor arrangement in the Sony is fragile against drops and knocks? I don't have a 6D MKii but I bet its a better brick than the Sony.
Something might be more appropriate, but that doesn’t make it “better” per se. However, buying decisions should be more about appropriate than better.

Finally, someone breaks through the Sony conspiracy and tells the truth! You are the man! Oh why, oh why did I buy that A7III? I coulda bought the Canon! Seriously I really miss the flip around screen I had on the Sony A77II. Don't know why they couldn't have put one on the A7 cameras.
