The Destiny series is about a Borg invasion and three ships and their captain's must fight to save the Federation.
This was not the song I had intended to use but I could not get my otherone to work.

Could you imagine the hardships the casters would have trying to get all the actors to reprise their roles?. I would love to see it done, even if it's just an animation.
Also First Contact was the most successful and that involved the Borg so I think bringing the full onslaught of the Borg into a movie would be ace.

yep think same way, otehrwise it was 3 books so even 3 movies would cut ALOT ... perhaps 6 episodes for that miniseries
the destiny novels are the best trek novels ive ever read and ive read an aweful lot of them...

OK THIS IS AMAZING. I adore these books and this was fab. Also completely inspired way of introducing Hernandez (happens to be my FAVOURITE minor captain. Not counting Calhoun)

@dasnkiller Let me guess, you've never heard of any of these people? They're all TV veterans, mostly from Battlestar Galactica or one of the Stargate shows. I think they're perfect.
I want them out as audiobooks, they must be popula enough now

Joe Flanigan as Calhoun, inspired choice. Whilst Calhoun was only mentioned once in the Destiny series I think your choice would be great if they ever made new frontier as a series. Whilst I know people have whined about the choice of music, i think it went well with the video.
Wow, that was excellent, except Shelby and Calhoun weren't in the Destiny trilogy.

To me the first 3 books of this series are the most well written of all the Star Trek Collection and I REALLY hope that WHEN CBS decides to make a new TV Show they adapt Destiny novels!!

Star Trek Destiny is a NON-Cannon sequel of Star Trek: Nemesis!!
not rly, its licenced extended universe, all the books are.
sure they might not end in movies but the real star trek movies are over anyways so THIS is star trek now
Until there are shown on TV/Film, Novels are considered non-canon.
TV/Film writrs/producers may take the Destiny books and may alter it a bit.
@simplystreeptacular No i know them all , but for example Samatarian Bowers is black in the books and there shouldnt be so much TV Veterans in the cast.
The Destiny Trilogy was by far the best Star Trek book series. If well done it would make a fantastic movie trilogy. Add JJ Abrams as director and Star Trek is back! I would certainly have chosen these books to be made into a movie instead of the reimagined movies even though they were quite good.
