    Details of this sweet song and graceful and beautiful dance artist and other information about movie should have been provided and more over it's too brief to enjoy

      I’ve included the most necessary details in the description. However, I do agree that it needs an update. One major thing needs to be added is the fact that it is made of two songs, Manchi Dinamu, a Telugu Javali and a separate Thillana in raga Hindolam.

      Another thing to note is that this is the only clip of the performance available. A possible explanation for the length is that since it was part of a Hindi film (Mr. Sampat) - most people seeing the film were probably more familiar with Kathak and Manipuri, rather than Bharatanatyam, so a longer performance wouldn’t have added anything to the film. It’s more like a small musical interlude for cinema goers.

      @@Vintagecarnaticgems As far as I am aware, there have been books published containing notations of K N Dandayudhapani Pillai's compositions. This Thillana presumably features in them.
