I was SOOO frustrated taking this gun apart to replace the springs for a reduced trigger weight. No videos out there address the more updated internals of the .22 but you sir, saved me so much time! THANK YOU!!
I installed this very setup in my LCP, tested it on the range yesterday and it worked perfectly. I used three brands of .22 ammunition and found all of them to work just fine. This video was most helpful for the installation process. All the LCP issues I was experiencing seem to be solved, thanks Galloway. Next item is to figure out how to improve the sights to make them more visible.
I literally just finished the install of the spring kit. I suck with taking apart guns and screwing around with a bunch of tiny parts, but this video was GREAT to watch along to as I installed everything. I’m a moron, so if I could do it then so can almost anyone else. I just had to really take my time, rewind the video ever now and then, and try not to throw everything across the room out of frustration. You weren’t kidding about trying to hold all the parts together while rebuilding. That was the part I struggled with. Thanks for making the spring kit and for showing our dumbasses how to install it.
I purchased one of these for my wife a couple weeks ago and immediately found the light strike, ejection and feed problems using 4 different brands of ammo. I couldn't fire 3 rounds without a failure. I came in searched UA-cam and found this video. I hurried and bought this kit, the stainless steel rod and the tool kit. It came in in a few days and I just installed the springs this morning. I read they like CCI mini mag ammo and I happened to have that in my safe. Went outside and rapid fired 10 rounds, reloaded 10 more shot those and finally reloaded and rapid fired 10 more with no problems at all. Even with that very limited test, I'm very happy with this kit! Holding those dang parts on there was FUN!!!!! LOL!!!! The only problem I have with the tool kit is when I went to knock out the hammer spring pin the punch is pretty soft metal and I couldn't drive out the pin. The hole isn't totally round enough to get the 1/16th punch in there. I ended up just opening the eye of the stock spring and pulling it off without removing the pin. After removing I bent it back and put it in the bag. Overall a great cost effective kit for the .22 lite rack!
Thank you for the feedback. We're glad to hear you are pleased with the spring kit and your new LCP II 22LR is operating as it should now. We appreciate you.
I used an allen wrench to pull the hammer spring out, sort of like a hook. I then used it as a temporary pin that I just pulled out after putting in the real pin.
I've done a lot of triggers for mine and my friends guns, this was a ball buster with all those tiny shit parts. Took about 40 minutes going back and forth in the video trying to see wtf I was looking at. Works great though.
Quick question. I did this same install and was wondering will the safety engage when its not racked? Because my safety switch will only work if its racked.
Just installed the trigger and spring kit. It wasn't too bad, and while I've been fixing things all my life, I haven't done that much with guns, with all the little springs and parts that go flying away if you don't hold everything in place while you're reinserting the works into the frame (that was the toughest part.) Very clear and straightforward, though there's a section where the work is out of the view of the camera. All in all, a very good video, and now I can't wait to try the gun at the range!!
Some may be asking why would want to use this caliber as a self-defense round. There are plenty of other rounds out there that are affordable, capable, and accessible for self-defense. The main reason someone would choose it is for the low recoil. While rare, many people lack the strength to effectively handle even a .380 ACP. Concealed carriers owe it to themselves to be as well-armed as physically possible and while most are able to carry a caliber more substantial than .22 LR, some simply can’t. Ammunition in this caliber is super cheap, so you can get in a lot of training for very little money - which is good because you'll need to be well-skilled if you're using it for self-defense. While you should practice proper shot placement with every caliber, with .22 LR, you already behind the power curve. In addition, firearms chambered in this caliber have hardly any recoil. Even when fired from the smallest guns on the market, the .22 LR is seriously easy to control. Since this caliber is easy to handle, it also makes getting quick, accurate follow-up shots easier, too. Having a gun that's easy to shoot effectively can be a huge deal, especially for a new shooter. The most significant disadvantage of .22LR for self-defense is the rimfire system. Rimfire rounds tend to be less reliable than centerfire rounds. A round failing to ignite can be a significant issue. The second issue that most .22 LR fails to expand when they strike a soft target and can have penetration issues. You’ll need premium grade ammo for defensive purposes for your .22 LR. I strongly recommend the CCI Velocitor copper plated hollow point in addition to Browning & Winchesters offering of the same loading they are fastest most accurate 40 grain hollow point on the market , Their velocity is 1435 fps it Hits hard penetrates deep and leaves a significant wound channel. I think 4 shots into the torso and 1 shot to the head or neck in close quarters would render an attacker totally incapacitated if it don't put a few more shots into them . I carry the Ruger LCP .22LR Pistol as my EDC back up .I trust it if needed ,I am confident multiple .22 LR shots into the head neck torso or below the belt line will stop an attacker dead in their tracks. The Heart Lungs Liver Spleen & Spine, Stomach major arteries all reside in the Torso .The Neck the Juggler vein , Throat Spine reside there .The Head the brain and brain stem reside there . At close quarters the .22lr Hand gun is deadly when multiple shots strike these areas.
"many people lack the strength to effectively handle even a .380 ACP." It's not a lack of strength, it's a lack of desire. lol. Even big, tough, former/current LE and MIL bloggers and youtubers have LITERALLY posted that they don't like taking their LCP II .380 (or similar) to the range. Their words - not mine - they call it "chippy" or "snappy" or say that it really "barks" and they say they do regular obligatory refresher shots through it since they carry it for self defense, but that they don't want to use it for more than a mag or so. They describe it as punishing after awhile. Having heard all of that I had to ask myself why in the world I'd spend good money on a gun I don't enjoy shooting. So I got the .22lr version and, predictably, it shoots like a dream (in terms of recoil) and is fun to plink with. And VERY easy to introduce to new shooters. All of that means a) I spend more time on the range actually shooting it, which means b) I'm more trained with it, and c) I get tighter groups faster, ...easily. Even one handed (R or L). i.e. it's more accurate. Which, several of those gun enthusiast bloggers reviewing the LCP II in 22lr echoed - saying they shot tighter groups, faster, with the 22lr than with their EDC pocket guns chambered in .380 on up. Several of them still said they wouldn't EDC the 22lr, preferring the larger calibers, but then there are more than a few that have posted actual gel or clay penetration and expansion results with various loads and found the 22lr to be close, if not the same, in terms of "effectiveness" and yet had WAY less recoil and less cost. Plus, there are others that point to the historical data on shootings that don't prove the 22lr to be any less effective at stopping an opponent than most of the common EDC rounds. Assuming, of course, you hit center mass or head. (which you do, more often, with an easily controlled round you spend more time with) That said, I just got my LCP22 and I hate it. Love to shoot it when it fires. But at least several rounds per magazine don't go off. Duds. From Winchester, Remington, even Aguila Interceptor. So I don't know if it's the gun or the rimfire ammo, but I don't have the time/money to buy box after box of ammo just to do "testing." EDIT: switched to Federal match ammo and wow - failures went away. Fired about 5 mags, no failures. Switched back to Aguila : instantly had duds againin first mag. Switched back to Federal and have stayed with it. And the best part? Its much cheaper! It's too unreliable for carry, and if you have clear a dud or two every mag, it's not for plinking, either. So I'm considering a .32 ACP pocket gun, hoping that by switching to centerfire, I won't have any more issues. My Kimber 9mm has never had a failure of any kind - EXCEPT when I tried a box of very short-nosed, flat hollowpoint. When I switched back to a long-nosed hollowpoint, it fed fine. And my .38 special revolver, of course, has NEVER had ANY problems. If it wasn't such a brick compared to the LCP II, I'd never be looking at pocket guns. And if the S&W 34c (.22lr) revolver with 8 rounds wasn't rimfire, I'd switch to THAT in a heartbeat. Even AT the ridiculous $800 price tag. 8 rounds is all you need, and a revolver will NEVER fail (and neither will the shooter once you've broken in the DAO trigger).
I just finished installing the spring kit. The extractor and firing pin springs went in easy peasy (like you said). The hammer spring went in fairly easy to because I used rubber bands to hold all the loose parts in place, except the safety. Safety kept falling on the table and ground. Fortunately I was able to find it each time. Once I removed the hammer and hammer spring, the new spring installed easily. I removed all the rubber bands and held the parts together with my fingers and inserted the whole works into the frame. The rest was easy. Now the gun works fine. I'll see if it shoots fine the next time I'm at the range.
There's a little pinhole that you can use to bias the hammer catch forward so you can just drop the fire control group in, its on the right side of the frame.
The spring install was a real pain in the rear, but your video helped. The good news: it turned my LCP from a junk gun into a fun .22 plinker. Only 4 light strikes and 1 FTF in 200 rounds. Serious improvement! Thanks much!
After installing the improved spring kit you still had 5 stoppages in 200 rounds? Thats about the performance I experience with the stock springs, hence why I'm looking at the upgrade kit.
@@gage5484 Depends what ammo you're running too. Before the kit I had a lot of malfunctions with most ammos. After the kit my gun is absolutely less picky. 1800 rounds with CCI Standards and I have only had 2 duds no actual firearm related malfunctions. I found what my LCP likes.
Well, did the spring and trigger kit yesterday and went to the range today with the same ammo I used the last time “Fiocchi high velocity “ and nothing has changed, it’s just junk ammo. About 20% didn’t fire which is the same as last time, going back this weekend with new ammo and see what it does
Thank you for making this video..I'm researching dissembling this gun because I'm getting firing pin dings on the barrel face after about 3500 rounds and it's knawing the firing pin tip..and I don't dry fire it..I'm not sure what limits the firing pin travel but it's wearing out of tolerance and pissing me off..I love /hate this gun...edit lots of gunk/grease in the place where the firing goes..even with the firing pin chipped it's running reall good at the moment
Thank you for the quality video! I was able to install your kit in my son's firearm. Another positive is, I discovered his firing pin is broken, so we won't be test firing it today.
Please watch the video in it's entirety before starting your installation. UA-cam allows you to slow the playback speed if you are still having trouble. We do installation here at Galloway Precision if you feel this is not something you'd like to tackle.
I'm thinking about ordering one of these kits to review on my newly acquired LCP 22. Going to review it with a rugged suppressor. Now hypothetically, could you reassemble it without that annoying thumb safety and it still function? Thank you for your input about the safety.
I found the correct video , I found the piece I didn't know I was missing , I reassembled via this video and it function checks correctly now , disregard previous emails , please excuse my ignorance . I'm extremely fluent on mk i ii iii iv , this is new to me . Tom Stone
I watched this video after my trigger wouldn't disconnect... Realized a part I thought was apart of the magazine disconnect was actually the disconnector... If you prefer, the magazine disconnect is a simple pin that once removed doesn't affect the functionality, seemingly makes the trigger better with one less spring pushing on the trigger shoe.
Thanks! Great video .. I was stuck holding all the parts like you said .. but I persevered! LOL I think I grew another hand .. I had one spring that would not stay in place but I finally got it. Appreciate the closeup detail.
Great video almost. Please watch it with where your hands are in mind. If you are working on the gun out of picture frame we cannot see what you are doing. Thanks
Awesome video! I put in the siguard trigger and got rid of the magazine disconnect. Couldn't have done it without you as parts just fly out of the 22lr and I'm like where the hell did that come from. Works great. Thanks
Quick question. I did this same install and was wondering will the safety engage when its not racked? Because my safety switch will only work if its racked.
Willy it should engage either way as long as the hammer has been reset. I had a little trouble getting my safety installed right and after about the 3rd time it went in like it was supposed to.
@@corbanhenley6110 I had issues with my safety also. The frame kept getting a bulge in it where the safety is after installing the frame pins. After popping it all apart a third time it finally went together and is now working fine. I'm not sure what the issue was because everything was installed perfectly.
Awesome. I watched it to get an idea how to disassemble, reassemble, and remove the mag disconnect. I presume the gun works fine in stock configuration without those three parts, correct? I do not want a mag disconnect.
I've had my Ruger LCP2 22 for almost 2 years and have never felt the need to improve anything on it. It works perfectly with almost every brand and type of ammo, and the trigger is light and crisp. Sometimes I think people modify their guns just so they can make a video. Is this your reason?
We address issues that the manufacturer doesn't on there own pistols. We don't make products just to post a video. I am glad to hear you are not having issues with your LCP II. Many people have not been so lucky.
LCP2 .22 has a magazine disconnect. So I took mine apart twice thinking I missed something sense yours doesn't. FYI for others following the function test.
I've done modifications - sights, triggers, etc.- on dozens of guns. This is by far the most difficult installation I've encountered. I'm not a certified armorer, so I guess I'm still a rookie. I got the trigger installed, and all the springs. I made sure that the trigger bar disconnect is installed properly - pivots and slides down when the slide is pulled back. However, the disconnect will not rotate down so I can't install the slide. Help!!
Please contact our tech through the Galloway Precision website for specific help with your installation. Eric can walk you through any issues. Sorry UA-cam will not allow us to post links or email addresses here.
I just did this install. Not sure if this is how it worked before, but when you did the functions check I noticed you had racked it before placing it on safety. Safety will not engage unless its racked correct? If its not racked, it wont let me put it on safety. All other functions work fine. Please advise.
I'm about to do the spring install on my new LCP2 .22 and in the stock configuration it is exactly as yours is, the safety will not go on unless the pistol is racked, you're good to go!
Got your springs, just replaced the extractor spring and all my issues went away. The little guy eats just about anything now. Still got a few light strikes so replaced the hammer spring too. Mine used to click when dry fired now it really pops when ya pull the trigger and yeah the trigger pull feels the same
@Arturo Munoz at first cause that fixed the main issue i was having. Eventually put in the hammer spring for the occasional light strike. Still had some feed issues later on which were really the magz fault. I did this kind of ptessure roll with the mag feed lips against something made of hard steel which bent the feed lips in just a bit and now i can say its perfectly reliable
I was using a small screwdriver that isn't a punch to try to punch out the hammer spring, it got stuck in there and the end broke off of it when I tried to pull it out with pliers... How screwed am I?
What was the before and after weight of the trigger pull? At 16.19 Struggle Vision! I understand. I couldn't get my Sigurd trigger in and reassemble everything. It was hours of cussing and no luck, so I had to pay someone (I NEVER DO THIS) to put it back together for me. It was impossible for me to hold everything together without it going Sproinnnngggg again and again. Gander Outdoors put it together and did not remove the mag safety. I got it back with an even heavier ttrigger pull. Started as a 7 1/2lb trigger. Returned as an 8 1/2lb trigger. I gave up and sold it a couple weeks ago.
The spring kit and trigger are not designed or advertised to lessen the trigger pull weight. The spring kit is designed to make the 22LR more reliable by increasing the striking power and addressing the extraction issues requiring increased rate hammer and extractor springs, not reduced. The Sigurd Trigger is designed to shorten the trigger pull only and not reduce the pull weight.
How much did you get for it? I have only put 50 rounds or so thru mine and I hate the unreliability (light strikes and a few FTEs). Not safe as a carry, not fun as a plinker. May just move to centerfire in 32 ACP or something else small & light.
@@cra2cra226 I got a little less ($300.00) than I paid for it and lost the additional cost of the Galloway Parts. I have an LCPII in 380 that I bought several years ago that is 100% reliable and has a very manageable 4lb trigger pull. I put a laser on it as the sites on these little guns are pretty much useless in low light. It's the perfect little pistol for times when you need something that disapears in a pocket or inside the waist band holster.
After watching this video about 15 times and going part threw part I managed to finally get the trigger in and it all back together.. after together pins and slide back the trigger will not pull back releasing the hammer.. 😬 I wanna throw things badly lol I’ll try again tomorrow
@@GallowayPrecision at one point in the video the person says hold the frame and push this button. The gun frame is not in the picture so we cannot see what he is pushing, pulling or separating. Thanks
We have only heard of the factory trigger pinching at the bottom. We have not had any complaints or experienced any pinching at the top of the Sigurd trigger. Hope that helps.

Will this remove some of the creep or stacking in the take up? My LCP .22 has a long, creepy take-up & it makes it frustrating to hit cans past 10 feet. I never really know if the trigger's at the wall or still creeping.
@@stoegerstewie8351 They do have great triggers. Mine shoots 2" high at 10 yards so I don't shoot it much. Waiting on someone to make a taller front sight for it.
I installed the trigger and spring kit and it greatly improved the trigger action. Still have trouble with mini-mags not firing in spite of strong firing pin hits. Guess I'll stick with the Blazers.
A box of 100 minimags had 3 duds for me. Your post makes me not want to add the 10%. I suspect it helps in borderline cases, but most cases are not borderline.
I can't get the pen out of the hammer to remove the hammer spring... I know it needs to be driven from one side, the right side or smaller side, but I cannot get it to come out I do not understand why especially not with no 1/16th inch punch
You can grind the side of the 1/16 punch down to allow it to slide through the partial hole or bend the hook on the hammer spring to rotate it off the pin, our spring is open enough to rotate on in place in case that is needed.
My only question I have. Will this cause the firing pin to wear faster or break? I only ask because I have read a few people say that their firing started to peen a little shortly after install. I done have the kit I just wanted to make sure before installing it. Edit: I installed the kit and took out the mag disconnect along the way. I will report back when I take my next range visit. Anyone complaining about the video down below, all you have to do is listen along. You don't have to see HOW he's pushing the pins out, or the process of him replacing the parts. Wheverever you took the part out is where you put the new one. If it is that hard to understand you really shouldn't be doing this yourself to begin with. I've never done this before and it was done in less than an hour with a proper punch set.
@@Jimster481 Give or take 4000 rounds. I had almost 2k at the time I typed this. It's still going strong to this day. I found the most important part is keeping this gun clean and lubed. I run this gun almost wet. It performs its best that way. I found that MY gun in particular like CCI Standard rounds. I have almost 1800 rounds of CCI standard through it with only 2 malfunctions and they were dud rounds from the same box. I thought they were light strikes at first but I tried to fire those rounds in my CMMG .22lr conversion kit for my AR. They did not fire. All other ammo I have tried with mine has had various malfunctions. Failure to feed, stove pipes, failure to eject, bad ammo. Might be sheer luck but I definitely trust the standards in my gun. I also have had good luck with the Federal Punch that others have stated does not work in their gun. Before the kit I did have a few failures, after the kit I ran 180ish rounds of the Federal Punch and it ran flawlessly. Might be too early to tell.
@@tylerangle2269 Intersting, my gun has no issues with ammo like SuperX 1330fps, Superx 1400fps, Varmint HE, Stinger, Velociter. Well this is out of my range My 22 literack won't chamber its almost like the safety is on but I have never put the safety on its shows the red dot Does anyone have ideas I've fired it twice
I just did mine and had a problem with the safety staying in place, spent almost 2 hours on it, the safety MUST SNAP back and forth. If it doesn't snap and just moves back and forth with no sound it's not seated right. Also if you didn't do the trigger and only the sping kit you need the mag inserted to pull the trigger
These guns should come out the box with a entire tool kit. They know what they sold you....and they know at some point you're gonna have to go in it. Smh.
This video needs work. Your moving everything way to fast to really see what it is your doing. Parts are flying past the camera so fact you cant even pause it. Also, you might want to add how you need to carefully remove the hammer spring pin in the bottom of the grip before the chassis can be removed. Unless that's an intentional troll.
I couldn’t get anything out of this video. The critical parts that should be seen more clearly, are either off screen, or you just briefly flash show something the way it should be sitting, so fast it’s impossible to tell. Need to do this video again with less fast flailing and less stuff done off screen.
This video would be nice for a 1st time install of this kit if the installer was intimately familiar with the assembly of this weapon For a 1st time user, not so much. The video has a lot of the important stuff explained but seeing what you are doing while explaining, it would be nice to be able to see what you're doing instead of just your thumb and forefingers. They are mostly not "in frame" and other times cover what you're doing. I can field strip and assemble a M1911 .45 Cal blindfolded but this is way different. Hope I can get some help from Galloway. :=((
It's kinda of difficult to show you exactly what they're doing as they HAVE to have their thumb in the way. They're tiny parts. However things only go together one way so it is extremely difficult to screw it up. If it is still too hard to comprehend what is happening (First timer here) you should really consider sending it in and having it done for you. Beyond that the video was perfect and I had this done in less than an hour.
I'm at a stop, trying to remove the trigger group from the frame the hammer spring appears to be stuck on the sear but you didn't remove the sear pin at all in the video.
Take a small pick or screw driver and just pop the hammer spring into the mag well then make sure the SN bossed section is clear as you rock the chassis out of the frame like in the video. No need to remove the sear assembly to get it all apart.

(which you do, more often, with an easily controlled round you spend more time with)
That said, I just got my LCP22 and I hate it. Love to shoot it when it fires. But at least several rounds per magazine don't go off. Duds. From Winchester, Remington, even Aguila Interceptor. So I don't know if it's the gun or the rimfire ammo, but I don't have the time/money to buy box after box of ammo just to do "testing."
EDIT: switched to Federal match ammo and wow - failures went away.
A hole in the bad guy is a hole...
It doesn't matter if you can put a pencil in it or fit your fist in it, either one will stop a human
Did it fix your issues? How do you like it after the install?
I can't get the pin out of the hammer to remove the hammer spring... Any suggestions?
The gold piece on the right side, I guess it is a part of the disconnect. How does it go back in?
Thanks Brandyn. Just got my sigurd trigger in the mail this afternoon and installed it in about 30 minutes using this video. Sweet trigger 👍
Great to hear! Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks man! It took me about an hour, but I got the springs in. I'll probably post again once I go shoot it.
Great video. Wish I saw this before taking apart mines.
Mines ? Did you fail hooked on phonics ? My LCP is proper English 👌

@@markbest5127 glad you liked it.
You're welcome. Glad you found it helpful.
This is not a "how to" video, but rather shows why trained gunsmiths are in business.
Thanks for the question. Removing the thumb safety is up to you. The kit will function without the manual safety.
Thank you for this video. I had an amazing time taking apart my gun and putting it back together. Good video and funny too. I appreciate it!
Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for the feedback.
You should really make a video on just the spring install.
I would think most of us are just doing springs.
Yes and also show it all on camera - can't believe Galloway would let this out to the public poor company representative
Was there a function check for the removal of the magazine disconnect?
Wish I had known how much of a pain in the butt this conversion was going to be. I would have gladly paid the $50 install fee. LOL
I found the correct video , I found the piece I didn't know I was missing , I reassembled via this video and it function checks correctly now , disregard previous emails , please excuse my ignorance .
I'm extremely fluent on mk i ii iii iv , this is new to me .

Thanks
I just figured out the problem with mine, I'm missing my trigger disconnect, thanks for the video!
Glad it helped
Dream upgrade to my dream gun. Nice
Glad to hear you like it.
Awesome video! I put in the siguard trigger and got rid of the magazine disconnect. Couldn't have done it without you as parts just fly out of the 22lr and I'm like where the hell did that come from. Works great. Thanks
Glad we could help.
It will work just fine without the mag disconnect in its stock configuration.
Same but I'm kind of a noob with this stuff. but what frame of the video shows the taking apart of the magazine disconnect?
@@teru797, you've probably done it, but for those who want it quickly, 10:53.
Damn, I had no idea the "lite rack" was such a different gun. Was wondering why you had all those weird cuts in the frame (I skipped a few parts).
I had the exact problems on my LCP2 22 that these springs addressed (FTF and FTE). I guess you were lucky.
LCP2 .22 has a magazine disconnect. So I took mine apart twice thinking I missed something sense yours doesn't. FYI for others following the function test.
Can the magazine disconnect be removed with the use of the origional stock trigger?
Yes you can.
@@GallowayPrecision Thank you! I appreciate the great job you do explaining details in your videos.
An Easy solution would to be to aim the camera from the other side of the table. Done!
@@dro Got it. I guess I couldn't remember how it was before. Thank you
Got your springs, just replaced the extractor spring and all my issues went away. The little guy eats just about anything now. Still got a few light strikes so replaced the hammer spring too. Mine used to click when dry fired now it really pops when ya pull the trigger and yeah the trigger pull feels the same
Just the extractor spring is all you replaced?
@Arturo Munoz at first cause that fixed the main issue i was having. Eventually put in the hammer spring for the occasional light strike. Still had some feed issues later on which were really the magz fault. I did this kind of ptessure roll with the mag feed lips against something made of hard steel which bent the feed lips in just a bit and now i can say its perfectly reliable
@@ChrisHirner Awesome! I will replace the extractor spring only and see if it helps. I haven’t had the light strike issue yet 🤞🏼
Great video, and gunsmith also.
I'm late to the show but can i just use the kit or do i need the trigger as well?
After watching this video about 15 times and going part threw part I managed to finally get the trigger in and it all back together.. after together pins and slide back the trigger will not pull back releasing the hammer.. 😬 I wanna throw things badly lol I’ll try again tomorrow
So, did you make it or send it in?
@@markbest5127 figured it out
Please please try to keep your hands and the work in frame. My spring kit is still not finished because critical info was out of frame.

@@GallowayPrecision at one point in the video the person says hold the frame and push this button. The gun frame is not in the picture so we cannot see what he is pushing, pulling or separating.
Thanks
Man you make this look so easy!
Does the Sigurd trigger solve the problem of the trigger pinching the trigger finger near the top of the trigger?
We have only heard of the factory trigger pinching at the bottom. We have not had any complaints or experienced any pinching at the top of the Sigurd trigger. Hope that helps.
Thank you for the great video. Now mine will work without the mag..
Where can I find the links to buy the parts in this video. Thanks

You should also do an increased rate safety spring to make it more snickety.
What do you mean by, "increased rate safety spring?"
I am fairly new to firearms and am trying to learn. Thanks!
Will this remove some of the creep or stacking in the take up? My LCP .22 has a long, creepy take-up & it makes it frustrating to hit cans past 10 feet. I never really know if the trigger's at the wall or still creeping.

@@Jimster481 actually no, but I still haven’t addressed whether it’s the firearm, ammo, or me. I picked up the .380 version and have no problems
How did that gun fire in his functions test w/o the magazine?… was it on account of the mod trigger?
Yes, on the trigger installation you remove the magazine disconnect.
@@GallowayPrecision second method worked best for me thank you very much
EXTREMELY HELPFUL THANK YOU MUCH
A plus 2 would be enough to rest my pinky and flush the mag to the frame.
How many rounds do you have through your gun now that the kit is in?
For bulk I shoot Federal Bulk 1250fps, Federal White box, Federal Automatch, Aguila Standard Velocity...
I was just wondering if the Spring kit makes a real noticeable difference... I rarely have feeding issues unless its related to the magazine.
Ive shot a couple thousand rounds through my gun at least.
@@Jimster481 Stingers and velocitor's didn't run very well in mine. Anything Federal absolutely fails to eject and feed as well. Aguilla runs well in mine though. You move a little too fast, don't pause and zoom in quite long enough on some parts, sometimes the gun is off camera when it needs to be seen.
The roll pin on the hammer spring is no longer accessible with a punch. I would have to sand down my punch into a half punch to fit it in.
Did they update the design?
same here. I ended up spreading the end of the stock spring with a screwdriver to remove it.
Are you guys making mag extention kits?
They mentioned 15 round mags in the future.
Well this is out of my range
My 22 literack won't chamber its almost like the safety is on but I have never put the safety on its shows the red dot
Does anyone have ideas I've fired it twice
I just did mine and had a problem with the safety staying in place, spent almost 2 hours on it, the safety MUST SNAP back and forth. If it doesn't snap and just moves back and forth with no sound it's not seated right. Also if you didn't do the trigger and only the sping kit you need the mag inserted to pull the trigger
How does one measure spring rate, or do you just order them from the manufacturer as such?
ISMI takes the stock springs we send and do all the mathing.
Just finished. Can confirm: is a bitch to do. Good video, thanks
Glad it was helpful.
Could have been a more helpful video if you kept the parts on camera and didn’t treat it like a race.
You should have separate videos - one for the spring kit and one for the trigger. Too much going on in this video. Keep it simple.
Noted!
These guns should come out the box with a entire tool kit. They know what they sold you....and they know at some point you're gonna have to go in it. Smh.
You can do it all with common tools.

why is your gun firing without a magazine in it? It's not supposed to do that.
Part of the installation is the removal of the magazine disconnect.
It would be more helpful if you did every step in front of the camera!
Slow down! Your hands are moving so much and so fast, its impossible to follow.
Are you sore you are not a card magician?

1/2 of the video isn't even in the frame
