Bought it basically bog stock 5 months ago and have been working on it daily since then.

Mint build mate! Black looks like a very hard paint to keep looking clean especially on a used 4wd. Shows scratches and swirl marks way to much

Nice rig mate, @7min i notice your rubber foot missing from rear seat. use a bunnings rubber foot for $2 and cut it in-half. Nissan charge $70 for them

Just wondering on what you do in terms of fridge/esky setup when u have the bed laid out
Fridge sits in back seats when travelling then when bed folds down I sit it on passenger front seat so we can still access drinks in bed. Works really well and takes 10 seconds to switch positions
Have you done the turbo build yet? Also where does your fridge go?

Local tint shop did them for me for $100

Might be doing something pretty cool for a roof rack in near future
love the build just letting you know to save urself. that petrol jerry cans are illegal to have on the back of the car incase of being rear ended as it is a lot more flammable than diesel. only places aloud to mount petrol jerry cans is roof of inside the cab
What does the flash tune consist of/do?

6:38 For the shifter, do the tb’s have overdrive or only the zd’s with the autos?
When you turbocharge it are you keeping the 5speed auto or going 5speed manual... I know wholesale automatics have a heavy duty valve body for the re5
Keeping the re5 automatic. I’ll be doing heavy duty valve body, transmission cooler and a deep pan sump to hold more transmission fluid

Not a bad looking rig other than rims/tyres sticking out too far. Offset rims pushing them too wide. Get some flares. As for your ideas on the speakers, I see your head being caved in if you have a serious front impact. Get a rear cargo barrier or loose the missiles.
So with the turbo are you hoping for 500 to the 35s or flywheel? And what sorta torque you expecting?
Hope for 400-500hp to the 35s and I’d love to push near 1000nm of torque. I’ve seen setups using same turbo as me with those numbers and higher
What do you do about the sub with the bed in? Do uou just move it or is the mattress made to fit?
Mattress fits fine between it
Does tb48 comes in diesel??
Any regrets going to a petrol vs a Diesel? I’ve got a petty hilux myself and I’m keen to see if a diesel is all it’s cracked up to be
Petrol is way better in terms of making power and sound in my opinion. If you don’t plan to turbo it then I’d choose diesel over petrol though
How far you planning on going with the engine? Just the oil pump gears or you going stronger pistons, rods etc?
Just oil pump gears for now won’t build internals unless it goes
So it’s a stock 4.8 internals ?

To push 500 HP from today's standard you need 3 Bar in the turbo!!!
1 atmosphere equals to double hp on ideal conditions. I doubt that engine can hold 3 bar on normal use and I also thing with that kind of turbo lag, you will get from 3 bar, this would be ideal for an offroader.
do you take a spare on trips?
Not unless it’s very far away or remote. Keep the car light and practical. A lot of my mates carry same size tyres if there’s a puncture somehow. But being beadlocks I shouldn’t have issues
May have missed it but do you run a fridge?
Yes wasn’t in the car at time but I run a 45 litre waeco
