What an awesome tourer. Really enjoyed the watch and giving me ideas to put into practice onto my gu. Thanks heaps and happy touring
What a great rig mate, everything is thought out and practical, its not overdone but just one tough patrol 💪💪. Thanks for giving us a look.
Cheers Shad 👍😎
Thanks mate
Excellent run down and some fantastic features - thanks for sharing.
One of the best rigs I’ve ever seen. Man great job awesome build !!
one if the nicest rigs i seen, thank you for your rig review..
This is bloody awesome to see now. Still think back to when we were sort of new to 4WDriving and you done the Mt.Torrens track and we thought it was the greatest thing ever. Look at the Patrol now, wouldn't know it was the same vehicle! Great video.
haha not wrong brother
Practical Rig. thanks for sharing. Everything works.
Again good content full of knowledge and expertise.
Super neat rig! Great walk through.
Beautiful Truck Dude. Nice job.
That’s bloody awesome.
Totally on the follow mate. Nice work on the color 🤘
Very nice rig. Almost a bit jealous. Thank you.
Nice bit of kit. Really like the maxtrax on the side idea
Bloody awesome rig!
Unique and amazing setup
Great rig run down highly anticipated. A little dark in some scenes but very thorough 👍
Best gu around, crazy practical
love your work :D
Blood nice set up an you put lot thought into the rig great job
RIG. Love these cars so much.
nice, subbed man. looks very similar to my 80 series
Hey great looking truck, nice work.
Great stuff you have there ;)
Nice setup.
love it!
Awesome rig
This thing is fucking sick
Finally!
Very thoughtfully modified
Great vehicle but you're filming a black car, inside, under the awning!!!!! Can hardly see it.
Awesome rig mate, can't go wrong with a factory td42 for reliability.
Nice mate
She's a weapon!
Saludos desde españa .. muy buen video y muy buen coche . 💪💓
nice truck. what a beauty. simplicity always wins. thanks for sharing. o and yes, i would also buy a shirt like the ones your wearing and get it send to europe.
Working on our website/online store at the moment.
some really nice ideas here, and you haven't shortcut on on anything
Hey mate gr8 video. Can U do video on ur cruise control with a list of parts as well cheers Graham
please make those shirts your wearing, would buy one in a heart beat.
They are available. Just working on a website at the moment.
Would like to know more about the wolf pack drawer slide. I use wolf packs too, and this is great idea to keep them out of the way.
That is a custom job we built. I believe Frontrunner have slides that take wolf packs.
Super
Wicked rig!!! Definitely something to aspire to! What particular Dobbie springs are you running?
One of the best and well thought out rigs I've seen, awesome. Surprised you haven't put a locker in the rear though, I noticed quite a substantial difference compared to the factory LSD in my rig.
A tight GU LSD performs amazingly man, why replace something that works well until it needs replacing? bahaha
Thanks heaps for the walk around of your tank. I have got so many idea for my first 4wd because of yours including colour and actual vehicle. I was going for a Pajero before I saw yours! Is it matte black or Saturn black btw?
Matte black.
Hi mate beautiful Patrol, no car like it! Loved the idea of the cargo net on the inside roof for pillows etc. Which Boab size/model do you have / recommend?
I think they only do two sizes and this is the bigger of the two.
This thing aint a Truck mate its a wagon and its a great looking patrol wagon mate but definitely not a truck !!! Were aussie mate🇦🇺👍
great build, and very neat. How do you keep it so clean?
Keep it tidy and its easy to find things mate.
Do the tracker as well 👌
PATROL💓💓💓💓💓💓💓🇱🇰
Is that a custom gas bottle holder on the spare wheel? Or where can I one? Love the rig mate 👌
Yea custom job buddy
interesting car, but it's too dark in the room. I think it could have been better filmed. The car I like and respect
Where did you get it enginered ? I have been talking to a QLD engineer and it is a no to a 4 inch lift and 35 inch wheels
Great run down man. Noticed that the interior of the door panels is white, have you put a wrap on it? And if so what's your thoughts on it? How well has it held up to marks and scratches?
Yep, wrap has stood up to the punishment quite well. Better than i thought it would.
Love this rig. How did you attach the cargo net to the roof at the rear mate? i can see its over the door handles at the front but not sure what to attach mine too at the barn door end.
We used mounts off the top seatbelt bolts from the third row seats. Then a cam strap through the seatbelt slot.
Mint build bro.
What is the part number of your fox steering damper?
I'm building a patrol in central America I already have my 4 shocks but in their page don't show steering dampers for patrols
Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP Universal Steering Damper. I don't have a part number but that is what it is, hope that helps.
Hey mate what brand is the cruse control you installed I have a aftermarket one in mine that came with it but it’s never worked and love the idea of changing steering wheels to like what you have.
Would also love to know which one you used, I'm looking at doing the exact same set up with mine.
I think its an Aus Cruise system
The only question I have is why the ne3ed for an inverter if what you are using the power for is charging 12V or 5V DC things. Why the need to go to 240v only to bring it back down to 5v (in the case of cameras, computers or phones).
They don't make a 12v chargers for some of our camera gear or computer chargers.
Look amazing buy why the Nissan patrol vs Toyota, Land Rover or etc?
Reliable and extremely capable.
Fantastic...thanks again very much....I'm thinking Special Ops transport just watching.
hahaha
so how much for you to build that rear seat setup for me haha? i also dont run the second row seats but cant find a decent place to buy something like that
Bro is this raptor line paint on the car?
Out of curiosity do you still run the factory locker in the rear? If so when you doing a segment on it as struggling to get mine working. Are they a wast of time?
Cheers
No locker in the back, just the factory LSD in this one mate.
Hey got one question for you where did you get the clam style clamp for the steering damper...
Thats a custom job, we searched everywhere for one the right diameter but had no luck.
Like the ladder. Anywhere we can get it for GU ?
This one we made in house. Not sure if there's anything available to buy sorry.
Looks mint, but can i ask , im an SA boy myself, how do you get away with 4" lift and tyres ?
Engineered now. Using full kits like the superior gear can help the process become possible.
Well done on shooting it inside in low light 👍 I can't see a thing
Derek Robinson up the brightness on your tv and ull be right👍
Is he so small, or the truck that big?
plenty of money
I make custom bar work for patrols and located in munno para west.

Under the bonnet mate
Hey bloke what size is the roof net I looking doing the same
Ahh about 1200x1200 I think
@@SIDETRACKED I got 900x 1200 coming cheers
