    umm yr front diff brace should go on top of housing im pretty sure, great job anyway, looks mint

      It can go on either, some do both some do just too but I went with bottom because the rear will have the same clearance regardless and this way the top of diff has more clearance against my custom exhaust setup I’ll be doing when I turbo it aswell as a few other things 🤟🏽

    Thanks for uploading dude. Got a set of these long arms in the container just waiting to go on my Series 1 Ti but don’t really have the nuts to give it to someone to install just yet.. Anyone you would recommend or how do you think the superior workshop themselves would go?

    Lol in the street just pull the diffs out😂😂

    Did you have to swap out the factory diffs for fitting the 35s? Was it a 3.5 to 4.3 swap? cheers

    The down-side being the loss of under-axle ground clearance and added weight. The long arms are vulnerable to rock strikes as you crest over a step and because of the forward mounting point, the arm effectively hangs lower to the ground and also loses clearance. Unless you are competing in comps and constantly jumping the truck off the ground, there is no point to these mods.

      Unless you’re competing in comps and constantly jumping? What about those of us who just want nicer handling man, ain’t nothin wrong with that. Would be greatly beneficial to tourers who spend long hours in their rigs and also to those of us who drive sand a lot. A lot of people on forums and UA-cam threads sound like they’re just echoing their thoughts about justifying to themselves of why they shouldn’t fork out the money for parts and mods, without actually thinking what it sounds like to others who can afford such things

    great video! but when the car was up on the hoist just before you put the long arms in the pinion angle was terrible .then on the ground u said the pinion angle was and looked perfect .. would you also get upper adjustable arms to suit ?

    • @KPBUILT
      @KPBUILT  2 роки тому +2

      The pinion angle was horrible on the hoist as the arms weren’t connected meaning there was nothing holding the pinion angle straight, the whole diff was twisted down until arms were finally bolted in. I don’t need adjustable uppers yet as my rear is only at 2” but I’ll soon need them as I’ll go 3” rear and the arms will also hit on my fuel tank and I’ll need to get one bent arm to allow for the fuel tank

    Didn't you miss three welds? Btw can you weld ya chassis in VIC?

    • @KPBUILT
      @KPBUILT  2 роки тому +1

      Didn’t want to weld every single spot as it’ll put more stress on chassis and it’s unnecessary. You can if it’s engineered

    • @philpotsymington5374
      @philpotsymington5374 2 роки тому

      @@KPBUILT yeah ok, so you need to get that setup engineered?

    • @KPBUILT
      @KPBUILT  2 роки тому +1

      @@philpotsymington5374 technically yes. Superior engineering provide all the documentation online as all their stuff is engineerable

      @@KPBUILT how does that work? Any1 can make a set up and weld it in and get it engineered? And u need it engineered before its painted..

    So what’s the go with the template for the long arms? Are the other holes allowing for pinion angle correction?

      na the pinion angle gets changed from top adjustable arms
