I have made some of the lost souls shawls for other people previously and wanted to make a stole version for myself. I've made one of these for a very good friend and loved how it came out. I will definitely be making one for myself. I've even thought about adapting the pattern to make it shorter and taller to make a top for myself. Thank you for sharing your video x

I'm not sure why I had problems with the last couple of rows. It started curving in. Had to change up the row before the singles.

Mine did that first time around. The designer said my tension was too tight. She was right. I relaxed it making sure it was super loose at the edges and it became straight!

May I ask how many times you repeated rows 8-23 to achieve the length in this video? Thank you.

Only once, but twice for the first one I made. You can see the size difference on my blog post. Search for this Stole when you get to my blog : www.jonnamartinez.com

End of row 24 you say shell in shell that should be 2 dc, right? Thank you for these videos!

Im having a lot of trouble with the closing row. Ive done it 3 times and its still too tight. I even tried 3 chains between closures, instead of 2. Im at a loss, with the top being tight & the bottom nice and stretchy.

      Maybe try two different hooks.
Start with a smaller hook and then switch to a larger one.
