Thank you for sharing. I take tremella as a beauty supplement and am amazed it can be turned into a serum. ☺️
A good video from a cool person. Very high quality and well explained. Thanks!
Cutest model EVER!
Me encanta, lo haré ❤
Oh wow ill need that and i got oyster mushrooms for health from amazon. Thank you
I love your channel bro so diverse
love to see a how to grow that one
I’m looking for tremella and black fungus on the same log then I will be able to grow them.
Really nice, thank you. What are the proportions, water to mushrooms?
Thank you for this great tutorial! Is it worth keeping the tremella after this process to reuse or to use for something else or just best to throw out? Thanks!
It still has nice texture so if you like tremella soup you can still use them for food. If you don’t like it you can just throw them out.
@SporenSprout What is the recommended storage temp for this serum. What is the typical shelf life?
Refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
Would doing and alch be extract help to increase shelf life? Or making a lotion ?
Yes you could make a dual extract powder and mix the powder in with lotions or other products. I know some companies use Propylene glycol to help preserve it.
how long does it last? will it go bad if left at room temperature? should we keep it in the fridge?
It should be stored in the refrigerator and it will only last up to 7 days.
How would you recommend growing this at home using sawdust substrate?
I know vendors that offer both Black Fungus LC and the Tremella LC.
Should I inoculate and colonize first with Black Fungus? And then second with Tremella? Would this work to grow this at home?
I've tried finding a "how to grow tremella mushroom" online and it seems impossible to find.
I know the vendors you are talking about and I would not trust them. They have been selling those cultures for years and have you seen any success on social media from any of the customers? No! 🤔
Both fungi need to be found on the same log, it won’t work if they are not found together. You have to find a log yourself with tremella and black fungus growing at the same time. Isolate and culture both fungi separately and then make a liquid culture of black fungus and then add 12 drops of tremella liquid culture creating a dual-culture. Then use that culture to inoculate your grain and then sawdust substrate.
I am working on this and I will post a video when I am successful.
Please post tremella mushroom tissue culture tutorial on your channel.🙏🙏🙏
I will once I have successfully obtained a wild specimen along with its host fungi stereum.
I can only ‘buy’ dried tremella, sourced from China. Are you able to cultivate your own tremella?
I am working on it. I need to find tremella and it’s host fungus on the same log and culture both fungi to have success. I need someone to send me samples if they find it in the wild and then we can grow it.
@@SporenSprout why do you need the host fungus too? why doesn't a tissue sample from the fruiting body work?
@@GlorifiedPizza tremella is a product of a parasitic relationship between 2 fungi. It cannot grow alone and fruit successfully. Do a quick search on google about it.
Can a cheesecloth or nutbag be used?
Definitely!
This is also known as snow mushroom?
Yes
is it necessary to have this mushroom dried? i found some fresh one in the forest and I’m wondering if i have to dry it?😄
No you don’t have to dry it. When you found it in the forest did you see the host fungus growing near it? My goal is to find both fungi growing together so I can culture both of them together to grow the fungus whenever I want. The host fungus should look like black balls of fungus or sometimes a fungus that looks like Turkey tail.
I’m going to be there tomorrow so I’ll check it, there were a lot of it at the end of the broken branches of oak trees
@@SporenSproutI’m also thinking of blending it before straining to get more bioactive compounds from the cells, do you think it’ll help?
@@gabrielamazurek2293 Yes blending should help release more compounds.
Any tremella? Or a certain type?
Tremella fuciformis is the most popular. Often labeled as “Snow fungus” or “white fungus”.
Seems like all that cooking will just kill everything in the mushroom
No, hot water is good to break down the chitin and release the compounds into solution.
The serum makes scars look better.
