- I review the new C-Stand with Grip Arm and Turtle Base Kit from Savage, claiming to have "a new twist on an age-old design for a support that's an industry standard". Is it worth it??

TL:DW - Should you buy it?
Slightly more expensive to outfit a whole studio, but 100% recommend having at least one of these on hand.

Awesome review! We are happy to hear you love our C-Stand. Another cool feature is the baby pin can be removed from the 20" riser and be inserted into either receiver for ultra low positioning.
True! I've been running it through it's paces since I filmed this video and it's pretty versatile. No complaints so far.
I bought this c-stand awhile back from another review for all the great reasons you pointed out in this video but this stand deserves more recognition! As much as I would have preferred the black stand, I couldn't pass up the (stainless steel) stand that included the grip arm kit and free 53″ x 18″ White paper backdrop! With that added extra, this stand adds the versatility of doing headshots/portraits anywhere!
You got a free roll of paper?? Jealous.
Based on this brilliant video, Savage appears to be notably more versatile. However, in your opinion, which brand offers greater stability and durability when subjected to harsh conditions, particularly in gritty areas-Savage or Avenger?
I honestly haven't road tested the savage as much as the Avengers. Bought it during COVID and haven't traveled as much with it. I've had the Avengers for over a decade. I will definitely update if I find anything worth saying, but both seem sturdy.
