I miss the 1980s. The last great era of music, life, respect and really, just about everything. By the way, you can't beat concerts like this ... even today. Probably never will.
Yes you can. What you're missing is your youth. There are still amazing concerts going on like this all over the world at huge festivals every year that young people are having amazing, care free times at. The only thing missing is you being young and there. Every generation thinks their time in the sun was the last great time anyone had in the sun.
The 80's were pretty special. Some people don't like it when people carry on about about the 80's but I suspect there is a bit of a jealousy as they couldn't experience what we could as teens. The funny part is they come on UA-cam watching these some 30 or 40 years ago pop songs and then say modern music is still good or try and defend its worth. Why would they take the trouble to watch an 80's music video when they are saying current music is good. The fact is most of the music of today is boring and sound the same that's why they are here listening to the wonderful music of the 80's.
I not only love their music, I super love watching them perform. Sure do wish Ric and Ben were still here with us. Rest in peace fellas. We miss you!!!!
