When the world goes to violence and bad news I head over to see Kent Rollins to remind me that there's good grounded wholesome men still left in this world.
Amen!
U made me tear up with that wholesome ass comment
God Bless you for that comment!! So true.
Me too!
Amen!
I came for the corn dogs and stayed for the hospitality!
Amen 🙏
Staying to the end. Former USMC Recruiter. Fantastic
Indeed!!😘🙏🫶🤗
Well I actually accidentally came across this video and sure glad I stayed and watched it. Made me want to go back to our farm so much brought tears to me eyes!! And the lady's laughter in the back ground sounded like my mom and aunt's were having fun cooking and cutting up and brought back a whole lot of memories I'd forgotten about. ❤
Sure miss those days of being with family and the pure fun and enjoyment we had and getting to eat some of the best food that I've ever had even to this day some 35yrs later. 😢😢❤
The "corn dog swirl" move towards the end made me smash the like button with a big grin on my face!
"Good dogs n corn dogs, that's what life is all about". Amen, Kent, AMEN.
For sure
The second he said that, all I could think is please make a sticker with that quote Mr. Rollins!!
The Cowboy has done it again. This guy never disappoints. What a gem this guy is.
Thanks Anthony for watching
@@CowboyKentRollins Cowboy Kent I would love to see you version of the Mcrib, plz bless us! 🤤
Does he dance this episode? Can't wait to see it...
@@o.v.9110 totally agree!
Thank you fer the show amigos
I live in Texas and Kent Rollins you are a true Texan and I don't even know if you live in Texas..
Your videos and channel are a breath of fresh air sir
Thanks
Thanks for being you. Your videos brighten up my day & bring happiness back in cooking
The cowboy does it again.
Along with Shannon's infectious laugh everything is better with world despite the craziness.
God bless you Mr Rollins.
Thanks for watching Sean and God bless you
Yup, I always love hearing Shannon's laugh!
Came for the corn dog recipe, stayed for the corn dog swirl!! Haha stay awesome cowboy we all love and appreciate you!
I made these corn dogs today for my family and in laws. They were phenomenal and received rave reviews. I made 2 batches, one as written and 1 without onions and jalapeños. It made way more corn dogs than the website says it'll yield, which is just fine with me. I ran out of hot dogs eventually and made hush puppies out of the remaining batter, which are also delish. My only substitutions were that I used dandelion syrup instead of honey and Tony's Creole seasoning instead of the spice mix suggested. 10/10 will make again. I could see myself making large batches and freezing as well.
This guy is a national treasure .I love watching Cowboy Kent.I love watching people cook for love!
When I'm feeling down, depressed and alone, all I do is watch one of Kent's cooking videos and my spirit is lifted up a bit. Cowboy you are a beacon of hope to many who, like me, sometimes just need to hear a friendly voice. Your love for America is heart warming. Take care and God Bless you.
Thanks for watching and God bless you, be sure and share the videos and the corndogs
@@CowboyKentRollins I have your cookbook, your spices (which I love using on almost everything) and watch all of your videos. Thanks again!!
This is a great comment and I agree! Kent you remind me a bit of going to Eastern Washington cowboy country where I always felt like life was the way it is meant to be - down to earth and right there surrounded by kind hearted people and living nature. And it is odd to me how such a warm hearted comment like this one gets only 2 likes in 5 months while others get hundreds of thousands of likes... Unfair and unfeeling world too often. Anyway thank you for your kindness!
Thank you Kent for your good spirits, human kindness, and delicious vittles!
"Good dogs and corn dogs. That's what life is about."
This needs to be a shirt ASAP.
Does sound good to me
@@CowboyKentRollins you are a breath of fresh air.
God bless you!
Brother man, thank you for helping me cook like grandma did. Raising these two kids on my own ain't easy but you sure do help! Keep it coming!!!
Man I respect you everything you do for your children and for yourself is a blessing and God bless you
🙏🏻
@@kenmichener8439 God bless you & yours brother 🙏
Parenting is the job in the world that requires so much more patience and compassion than most of us are raised to have in the first place, but it's certainly easier than it used to be in your grandma's time now that you can find child psychology textbooks online... I know my grandparents sure could've used a "recipe" for raising kids!
"Lumps clumps bumps and contusions in it"
I love the way this man talks.
"One of dem tea drinkin glasses" Thank you, Mr. Rollins! God bless you.
Hi i like ❤️
Thanks Paul for watching
My tea drinkin glasses all have threads at the top
@@maxpinson5002 Ah! So you're referring to the "family crystal". Right there with ya!
the way kent talks, he could sell water to a fish!
He just has a heavy southern accent, nothing too crazy where he can become a salesman tho
I subbed to this voice man, this is rockin.
😂👌say no more
@Gabe M boy I can tell you're fun at parties 😐
I like that ryght theyer..
Thank you more than I can say for this recipe. The surprise of your corndogs was perfect. She was humming while she ate. Praise enough for Mom. Be blessed. I was because of you.
When I heard that crunch when Kent took the first bite I knew this was as good as it gets. Thank you brother Kent. God bless
I was like "Oooooh Bacon powder? Is that in the link below? Oh, baking powder. Dang."
😂😂😂😂😂
baking powder
I thought the same thing. 🤣🤣
I'm sure you can make your own bacon powder. Just pulverize some Baco Bits. If this isn't already a thing, then make it a thing.
Me too
God bless, watch, and keep Ken and his crew!
We need more of these people in our lives.
God bless you as well
Man, I don't Know how Kent Rollins keeps from gaining 100lbs from all the fantastic recipes he shares or how he just happens to pick all of my favorites, or how he and his supporting cast makes me smile while watching each episode, but the man is magic! Whole lotta magic! thank you, sir!
It's because he dances at the end! Lol
Doesn't look to me like he ever prepares more than a full day's meal in a video. So long as he does less than one video per day, he's _fine._
I doubt he prepares any one of these recipes very often!
I have always believed, "never trust a skinny chef", and though i havent tried any of your recipes yet, i have YET to see ANY of your videos that the finished product doesnt look so mouth wateringly delicious, i can only imagine how great they taste! I'm so anxious to try some of them out, i just can't decide which i'd like to try first!
I've been living under a rock to only have discovered your channel now! I'm loving it!
Welcome to the family!
He has two cookbooks too. I discovered one of them 'A taste of cowboy' at my library. A very good cookbook.
One of my favorite. Best part of Wednesday
One of the best
Welcome! We’ll see you here every Wednesday 🙂
I could never preface a story with "One of my favorite corn dog stories is." Today, I vow to change how I live my life.
Your the bob ross of cooking with your soft voice, inspirational quotes and kind hearted ❤️ thank you for the great recipes.
This was my first Cowboy Kent recipe to make, and it came out perfectly! The whole family loved it (there’s nine of us between the ages of 49 and 2), I used regular hot dogs, and it also came out great with an andouille sausage. Added Bonus: I used the leftover mix to scoop out some hush puppies which were also totally bomb!! Thanks Cowboy (& Shan) - keep the videos coming!! (And thank you for entertaining us!)
So glad everyone enjoyed and thanks so much for watching
@@CowboyKentRollins it's ok, I got paid well.
How could you not just love this good ol' dude! He honestly reminds me of my granddad and I enjoy watching every one of his videos! 90% of the stuff I've ever learned about cooking has come from this channel!
Watching a Kent video is one of the things that make me feel the world's alright.
Thanks for watching
Thanks Kent and Shannon for us having something to look forward to each week. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Dwight for watching
That's right.
I was thinking of posting a comment, but you summed it up right here brother!
Kent Rollins is heaven sent. Cheers me up even if I'm not cookin. Just straight up good people.
I have never wanted a corn dog MORE in my life than NOW !
THIS is what the world NEEDS right now!!!
Kent and Shannon, God bless you! Thanks for the content you provide and please, keep it up!
Love how Duke sets up at the end to take a shot at a whole corn dog 🐶
When he starts praying & dancing after taking a bite, that’s when you know it’s good!
We made these a week ago for my son's 13 birthday party and everyone loved them! They were awesome! My kids keep asking when we are going to make them again. Thanks and keep up the great work!!
Kent, thank you for all of your time that you put into your videos. Food United people and your videos find a way to do that wherever you are. We appreciate you
what a kind soul you are mister , just started to watch your videos i love it , got yourself a subscriber from portugal !
Hello Cowboy, thank you for the corn dog recipe. After watching, I bought all of the needed ingredients and poured the mix in a tall glass. What a marvelous idea, just dip and twist and place in the hot oil. I made 8 corndogs and froze 6 and ate the 2 others. What a wonderful flavor.
I realize I'm still a child when I chuckle at "all beef wiener" ... I also realize I'm watching a Cowboy make corn dogs. I regret nothing!
Funny c#+t🤣🤣🤣
He said it as I was reading the comment🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely adore your videos, Kent. Thanks for all the wonderful entertainment and recipes. Also thank you to the puppers and Shannon!
I enjoyed my time with Kent at his chuck wagon cooking school (2003 or 4)and still get his humor now here.
Love a cook that has such pleasure in cooking corn dogs to biscuits and gravy to prime rib. Kent got you all covered. Thanks for all you do.
I’m somewhat old school with my hotdogs. I look for something made from Chapel Hill, Texas. Perfect spices and they have that popping skin to make the taste magical.
Sounds like a wiener!!
Wonderful stuff, a man with the dogs cooking, blessing America and our veterans. Nothing more than I’d like to see on UA-cam. Well done sir
Thanks Cory for watching
As always. Thanks to you guys. You two are an example of what we fight for
Made these tonight for supper, started out with 10 for 5 people; ended having to double and had 20!! They are so very, very good.
I subscribed after he said “praise the Lord” and did the Corndog swirl dance. Lol
Thanks for watching and for subbing
lmao exactly the same here. i was blown away.
Lol i did too. Then i saw your comment .
Same lol
i did the same.
Made this tonight and it was great! First time frying, first time with dutch oven, first Kent Rollins recipe...lots of firsts! Thanks!
We made ours on the pan, they fit with the stick outside of the pan and you use the stick to turn them over.
Saves oil and works great.
I know this man is one of the greatest grandpas to ever live 💗
darn did it again. watched this before bed. now i am hungry........
Thanks for watching
Yep, I’m laying in bed watching. I always watch UA-cam before bed. Kent’s a good one to watch.
Same here or get the notification just after lunch ! If UA-cam keeps giving the notifications around that or a little after I'll be back up to 300 pounds fast ! 😆

You are a gentleman! God bless you are your whole family, including blessings for your fur babies, especially for beag....
Making them for dinner today. Can't wait to try them. I live in Scotland now, but have lived in Texas, so corn dogs are regularly missed.
This guy must have grand kids that cant wait to go visit.
His grandkids aren't allowed over because he got too hands on, if you know what I mean... too much yogurt on the seat of his boy scout uniform.
@@DaleSandusky Excuse me, that is one hell of an accusation. If this is a joke its not even remotely funny.
Exactly what bear false witness is all about.
Your awesome sir. Im from Texas as im almost certain you are. Thanks for them thur videos you make helping guys like me cook stuff i never thought i could. Have a blessed day and thank you for being you

I'm Aussie but I'm just in love with this dude's energy and humour 🤣🤣🤣👌🏽, the food always looks beautiful as well, you can tell dude loves his food.
My daughter (grown) is in for a surprise meal when she comes to visit Mom. Corn dogs, one of her faves, Mac & cheese, also one of her faves and blueberry fried pies ala Cowboy Kent & Shannon Rollins. Thank you both. Be blessed.
My grandmother would make these. I remember her twirling them out of a red ice cream bucket. Thanks for this recipe.
My pleasure
Mr. Kent, absolutely amazing! Just made these for the family and these corn dogs are incredibly delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I posted photos and tagged you on Facebook.
These are great for making with the kids. Great memories and a knowledge for a lifetime
Love the true cowboy cooking. It reminds me of my grandfather and all those times watching Gunsmoke.
Thank you Kent! I love corn dogs never knew how to make them from scratch, definitely gonna try this recipe when I get home!
Hope you enjoy
@@CowboyKentRollins Thank you Kent prayers for the Beag I hope he gets well soon!
it makes me chuckle each time he goes to pour some dry ingredients into the bowl, and they instantly just poof into the wind 😂
This is the first video I saw from this channel and after watching it, it just makes me feel better, makes me feel good. Keep on being awesome, sir! 😊
I am absolutely hooked on Kent. So charming and charismatic!
Mr. Rollins "YOU Da MAN", can `t wait for the state fair! Doing these this weekend.
Duke and Beag, enjoy your day off!
Boy those puppy's look good Kent! 😋
This is the first video I’ve seen from your channel and man, I wish I could subscribe more than once. Not only was this recipe outstanding, but the amount of quality and effort is huge to say the least. I’m excited to check out the rest of your channel and website. Have a good one!
I made these on my kitchen stove. They were DELICIOUS! I put the deep glass with the breading in the fridge to chill and let my hotdogs get to room temperature before dipping. I also did some mozzarella cheese sticks with it! The best recipe! Good job you guys!
I made your corn dogs for a party and everyone loved them. Even the people that normally don’t eat them. I didn’t tell them there was jalapeños in and the people that don’t like hot didn’t have a problem. They were a big hit. Many comments about not just being the normal corn dog.! Thanks
If we end up doing a superbowl party this year (depends on my brother's work schedule at the time if we have one or not) I'm thinking make these with the cheese stuffed 'little smokies' sausages. There's no way that wouldn't be incredible.
Kent to the dogs: Would you guys like to try the ingredients or the finished product?
Dogs: Yes
Kent , i love your videos so much! I apreciate your style and also the food you make. Im not very entertained by ...someone cooking somthing but im entertained and intrested in seeing somthing i can do to make my wife smile on the weekends. Usualy we like to get together with my mom and her mom and dad and either i will cook or her dad will cook and we will all just eat untill we hate ourselves and take a nap . But she has a love for corndogs and im going to make these for her this weekend. So you have inspired me ...thank you sir, your lady and your dogs! God bless you all. Im praying for you always
Hi from Scotland. I don't know about anyone else but i love this mans voice. I could listen to him all day long. Thanks for the recipes too. Yum Yum.
We thank you Audrey for watching
In my 20s me and my roommates lived on burgers, hot dogs and corn dogs lol the frozen ones.
